Vulnerable
ChangeChorong was grabbed from the back and a cloth was used to cover . She struggled to get out of the grip, but eventually turned unconscious. When she woke up, she was in a dark room, tied to a chair. Within the entire room, there was only one ray of light shining in. The room, however, had light flashing from time to time due to the lightning outside, in addition to the thunder that rang from time to time. Chorong looked around, hoping that she would not be the only one in the room. It was then she realised: She was alone in the room which was dark and right outside was the stormy weather she hated. Terrified, Chorong wanted to hide in one of the corners of the room, but she could not move at all. With her heart beating rapidly in fear, she sat there shivering as tears ran down her face. She thought, Bomi, please save me....
As if her prayers were answered, the door flung open and a shadow could be seen. As the shadow approached her, she realised it was not Bomi, but her father. "So Chorong, enjoying your time here? I've warned you, and told you time after time. Why won't you listen and just leave Bomi alone? Look, even the skies think you deserve it, judging on how there's even lightning and thunder now. Yes, I know you're most scared of them."
"Father, please... Let me out of here.. Let us be together.." Chorong tried to be as composed and as strong as possible, even though she was really frightened by the whole situation and her surroundings.
"Father? I'm Bomi's father, not your father. Don't worry, this is not the real deal yet. I'll just keep you here for a night - or two." Without waiting for Chorong's reply, he left the room, leaving Chorong alone in the dark again. This was when Chorong started revealing her fears again. She was really dying for Bomi to be there.

The next morning, Chorong was woken up with a bucket of water poured over her. As promised, she was released after a "I hope you have learnt your lesson". When she finally reached home, she was rather surprised to see Bomi waiting at her gate.
"Chorong, you're back! Why didn't you pick up my calls?" Bomi asked. When she saw that Chorong's clothes were entirely wet and her hair was in a mess, she knew something had happened. "What happened, Chorongie?"
Without saying a word, Chorong ran towards Bomi and hugged her tightly. Tears fell as she released the fright she had all night. While Bomi held her close and tight, Chorong hit Bomi repeatedly in the chest area while choking out, "Why didn't you save me? I was so afraid.." They stayed in that position for quite some time until Chorong calmed down, then they went into the house.
"Chorong ah, go change into a comfortable set of clothes, then we'll talk, okay?" Bomi said. She was prepared to walk to the kitchen area when Chorong tugged on her shirt. When she turned back, she was shocked to see Chorong's expression which carried so much fear.
"Don't leave.. Don't leave me.." Chorong requested timidly. Bomi never expected Chorong to have this fragile side of her. Patting Chorong on the head as if she was a small kid, Bomi said, "I won't leave, just go change quickly okay? I'll go get a cup of warm water and wait for you right here."
Chorong nodded and obeyed Bomi's instructions. Bomi, like she had promised, took a cup of warm water for Chorong and sat on the sofa waiting for her. In no time, Chorong had come out. Judging from her expression, Bomi could tell that Chorong felt really relieved upon seeing her there on the sofa. Pulling Chorong over by her hand, Bomi placed the cup of warm water into Chorong's hands. "Drink some so you'll relax a bit more."
Bomi was extremely curious as to what exactly had happened, but she knew Chorong was not in the state to be asked such questions. Even after so long, Chorong was still shaking. Thus, Bomi suggested for her to take a nap. Or rather, she insisted that Chorong took a nap. After spending some time to put Chorong in bed, Bomi was about to walk out of the room when she heard Chorong's voice. "Bomi.. could you lay down beside me while I sleep? I'm really scared.."
Upon hearing that, Bomi blushed slightly from the idea of sharing the bed. However, she knew it was not the time to think of such stuff, since Chorong was in that state. "Mmmm," Bomi agreed, since it would help Chorong feel more secure. As she laid down next to Chorong, the latter snuggled closer to her and hugged her, burying her face into Bomi's shoulder area. She then felt her clothes getting damp, and immediately knew that Chorong was crying again. Patting Chorong's back as comfort, Bomi let her girlfriend cry until she fell asleep from exhaustion due to crying.
Bomi was terribly worried for Chorong. That day, Chorong's hugs and tugs were more solid seemingly demanding more security. She was also more clingy. What had made her so vulnerable? Shifting Chorong slightly apart from her, she looked at her face, which still had several tear stains on it. After using one hand to wipe the stains away, she kissed the sleeping girl on the forehead and said, "I won't let anyone frighten you. I won't let you cry anymore. I will protect you, Chorong."
