Chapter Two

Let Me Take The Pain Away

The sun hadn't risen fully but Sehun didn't feel sleepy anymore. At last his family decided to stay at a place for a long time - forever to be exact. His father was moved again to another division, but he was moved for forever. His family had been anywhere but Seoul, so when his father spilled that they would be moving to Seoul, Sehun couldn't help but loved the idea. And he couldn't help but to think that he might have a proper best friend, something he never really had because his family never stayed at a place for a long time because of his father's job.

Of course he was glad to have friends from almost every place in Korea, but he never really got a chance to be as close as a best friend to any of them. So that now he had the chance, he would use it well. He couldn't help but smile when he thought about it.

And he wanted to experience something people called as love. He never really loved anyone nor ever be in a relationship. Since he moved a lot, he thought it would be hurtful for his partner and him when he had to go. So when he thought he started liking someone in that way, he quickly turned it into a friendship way - he friend-zoned everyone. At least he thought that it would be the best for both of them.

Back to his house. His new house was great. It got clean-white-painted walls with brown tall fences. And it was great too because it had a mini garden, so his mom could do her hobby of planting and taking care of plants and flowers. It had a garage to at the left side of the house. He seriously loved his current house. He had had lived in many types of house but he had to say that this was the best. He liked it because it was radiating warm feeling, like finally they found a perfect place to be called as home.

Sehun's room was at the second floor. He might not have his own balcony, but the window showed the fantastic view of Seoul too, so he thought it was really okay. And suddenly he remembered something.

His father said that he had moved Sehun to new high school. He had searched the information about the school and he was satisfied enough with all information he had. He would start his senior high school in one of great schools in Seoul. He felt really great.

An hour after that, he decided to go downstairs and he found his mom making their breakfast. She was wearing a sky-blue-colored apron with some childish drawing of spatula and frying pan on it. Sehun once asked his mom why she bought that. She only shrugged and answered him with "This one is so cute. Tell me, I'm still not that old and this fits me well, right, Sehun?"

"Good morning, omma," Sehun called softly while opening the refrigerator. His mom turned her head and smiled at her son. Sehun took a bottle of milk and closed the refrigerator, then walked to his mom and kissed her cheek. "What are you cooking?" Sehun asked while opening his bottle of milk.

"Your favorite fried rice," Sehun's mom answered. Sehun couldn't help but felt happy. "By the way, dear, have you told all of your friends and pen-pals that you moved again?" She asked. "You don't want to lose contact to them all of sudden, right?"

"Yes, I have, omma," Sehun answered then drank his milk. Chocolate milk.

He thought he had reached heaven.

*---*

"Oh my God, I'm late!" Sehun muttered softly as he rode his bicycle fast. He didn't know that the alarm hadn't been set by him. He forgot that he would go to his new school and just played with his PSP all night long. He kinda regretted it since he felt a little bit tired. But luckily for him, someone was just as late as him, and what worse was that the boy had to run. Sehun quickly rode near him and said a bit loudly, "We go to the same school, let's go together."

The boy turned his head around and nodded. Sehun stopped his bicycle and let the boy sat behind him before he rode his bicycle again. The boy told him where to park his bicycle and then they both got down from the bicycle.

"Thanks for the ride...?"

"It's Oh Sehun. What about yours?"

"It's Kim Jongin," The boy, who claimed himself as Jongin, said then smiled. This Jongin boy was handsome when he didn't smile, but when he smiled, he was cute to no end. This Jongin boy could run like crazy and still looked like as if he was filming a movie, but when he smiled, he looked so pure. At least that was what Sehun had in his mind. "Earth to Sehun-ssi," Jongin said, taking Sehun to reality.

"Yes?"

"We can daydream when principal gives his speech, but we have to run to the auditorium now or we'll be punished later," Jongin explained. Sehun nodded and with that, both boys ran to auditorium hall - actually it was like Jongin ran while Sehun just followed him like a lost puppy. When they arrived, Jongin snickered when he saw a certain group of boys who sat in the middle. One of them, the tallest one, saw him and shrugged. Jongin sighed and asked Sehun if it was okay to sit in the middle-to-front row because they got no more choice. Sehun just nodded and there they were, sitting next to each other.

Luckily Sehun and Jongin were blocked by 2 tall boys who sat in front of them, so they could talk and play with each other. They talked to each other like they had known each other for years and had just met again after a holiday. Sehun told Jongin about how his family never stayed in a place for so long because of his father's job. Jongin thought it was cool so he could know many people from different places. Jongin then too told Sehun that actually he lived in the dormitory, but he spent his holiday with his family and had just came back the day before so he should run to the school like crazy and left his belongings at home. He said he would ask his friend to help him moved back to the dorm.

They even joked about the principal bald head. How the vice-principal was fat that they wanted to roll him around. Jongin even impersonated the way their principal talked and they laughed like mad, luckily no one noticed it - or they just thought Sehun and Jongin as stupid pranksters. They even took a picture together with stupid faces and Jongin sent it to his friend. A few minutes later, his friend - Sehun was sure Jongin's friend wasn't Korean, because, what is Yifan? - replied him with "you stupid . Finally found a friend who's as stupid as you? Just wait till I show this to Soo."

Sehun was sure that Jongin muttered something like 'No! Not Kyungsoo' but he wasn't sure.

"When will this ceremonial thingy end actually?" Sehun asked - whined. "I'm bored. I feel like I could sleep anytime."

"In 30 minutes"

And as Jongin said, in 30 minutes, the ceremony was ended. Jongin offered Sehun to be his tour guide to explore the school. Sehun of course didn't decline that. He knew he needed that. So Jongin started the tour with showing Sehun where the classes were; where the cafeteria was; where the sport building and gym was; he even showed Sehun where the dormitory buildings were. Sehun couldn't help but to be shocked because the dormitory buildings were so cool he could even lie to people and said the school had its own apartment buildings. Jongin laughed at that.

And Jongin too showed Sehun where the extracurricular sections were, such as singing, choir, cooking, painting and arts, sports, and dancing. When Jongin said dancing, Sehun couldn't help but grinned and blabbered how he loved to dance and how he usually learned new moves and stuff. Jongin thought that Sehun could be his long lost brother or relative because, oh my God, Jongin seriously liked Sehun. They both ran to the dancing section and Jongin asked for the key of practicing room to the woman in the front desk. It seemed like they both knew each other well since she gave the key easily.

And with that, Jongin and Sehun danced and danced and danced to no end. If it wasn't Jongin's phone rang when the music paused, they wouldn't stop. Jongin quickly ran to his bag and took his phone. He grinned widely as he saw the phone screen.

"Hello Minseokkie hyung, do you miss me?"

Sehun walked towards the boy and stood about a meter away from him.

"Yah! I'm so mad at you now, hyung! You didn't even spare a seat for me!"

Sehun found it was funny that Jongin could whine. He imagined how Jongin ran like that morning and then stopped to whine. Sehun grimaced at his own imagination. It wasn't a good image.

"I'll come, hyung. Usual table, right?"

There was a short silence before Jongin finally said, "Okay. And spare 2 seats, please. I'm bringing a friend. Bye hyung."

Jongin pressed the red button and slipped his phone to his bag.

"Do you want to meet my friends?"

Sehun just couldn't say no.

I'm sorry this chapter contains.... nothing. Beside we then know how dumb Jongin and Sehun are. Blame that dumb moment of Sekai when they had to buy Chanyeol's birthday gifts at Exo's Showtime

So the next chapter is actually where everything starts!

I have no words to say, so...
