When Min Ho Met Shin Hye

Some bright spark told me When Min Ho Met Shin Hye was her guilty pleasure.  It's mine too!

"Here you go." Shin Hye said as she handed him an apron.

"You want me to cook?"  Min Ho looked at the pink apron like it was a foreign object he had never seen before.

"Do you want to eat?"  Shin Hye asked over her shoulders as she took a glass container out of the fridge.

"Yes."  Trick question?  Of course he wanted to eat. She was the one who invited him over for dinner.

"Then you have to help cook."  She turned around and shoved the container into his hand.

Min Ho looked at the glass container like he had never seen one before either.  He didn't want to cook.  He hadn't cooked  in ages.  Maybe they should go out to dinner. It's been a long time since they've gone out to eat together.

"We could go out.  Baek Ha Jin's restaurant is discreet.  They cater to celebrities who wants to keep a low profile."  He suggested, appealing to her.

"We could."  Shin Hye leaned against the counter and looked at him.

"But wouldn't it be nice to just have dinner without having waiters interrupting us every few minutes to bring out food. And then there's that awkwardness in the room because we have to stay quiet while the waiter is there and the waiter has to try to avoid looking at us because that's their job.  But they already know who we are and are dying to look so that they can tell someone."  She reminded him.

The celebrity life was life in a goldfish bowl.  They would be mobbed if they went out together.  He would stand out because of his height and his aura.  She's becoming a little more popular, but she wouldn't be instantly recognized like he was.

"Besides, what if I want to play footsies with you?  What would the waiter think?"  She batted her eyelashes at him in flirtation.

"He's probably thinking, lucky guy."  Min Ho rubbed the area above his lip, feeling the stubbles there left over from filming, before adding.  "How did a rough looking guy like him get a date with the gorgeous Park Shin Hye?"

Shin Hye smiled at him in adoration.

"Flattery will get you everywhere."  Her heart fluttered at his compliment.  She scrunched her nose at him for getting the upper hand.

"Let's eat first, then you can show me how much you adore me."  She put a pair of tongs on top of the container of marinated steak.

"Go grill."  She physically turned him towards the balcony where the hibachi grill was set up and ready to go.

Most of the food was already prepared.  The meal was from the menu of a restaurant they had gone to while they were filming in LA last year.

"Wait until you try the dessert."  She told him.  She had even made the dessert they had tried. Creme brulee.

Min Ho's ears perked up at the mention of dessert.

"Can I have dessert first?"  He leered at her, wagging his brows.  He didn't mean the actual dessert either.

"ert." She laughed at the innuendo.  Such a kid.

"Just a small taste test?"  He begged.

"I have a knife in my hand right now." She waved it in front of him threateningly.  Okay.  It was only a small paring knife, but it was still a knife.

Min Ho knew when to cut his losses and bow out gracefully.  A knife wielding girlfriend is one of those times to bow out.

"I need my own apron."  He lifted up the pink apron she had handed him earlier and smirked.

"I think that will look spiffy on you." Shin Hye suppressed a grin.  She only had 2 aprons.  They were both fussy and girly.  She'll have to add a male apron to her list for her next shopping trip.

With serious doubts about looking spiffy or that it even fits, Min Ho donned the apron.   It was frilly and feminine, just like Shin Hye.  And it barely covered his crotch.

"Do I look like Bi in Full House?"  He asked her as he smoothed down the ruffles.

Shin Hye considered him thoughtfully, tilting her head to the left, then to the right, then back to the left again.  He looked cute. The short, frilly, flower-patterned apron looked ridiculous next to his rough masculinity.

She liked his new look for Gangnam Blues.  How could she not?  He was looking fit and muscular and slightly tanned.  His hair was dyed back to black and long upfront.  He had it swept back displaying his forehead.  How can he just get better looking every time she saw him?  It was never the same look either.  When he got into character, he was fully immersed.  The rough edges were there in his skin and the little stubbles above his upper lips.  They had tickled earlier when he had kissed her.

"No."  She finally decided on an answer to his question.

"Wae?"  He pouted.

"Bi's cuter."  She replied sassily.

That earned her a swat on the bottom.

"And...he c
