Chapter 17
Journal Of Ardency"One... two three...", Daniel tossed the coin to the air.
Jonghyun, Changhyun, and Chanhee looked at it curiously. And then it fell on the number side.
"Yaaay! I won!", Chanhee squealed as the other three sighed in disappointment.
"Okay then, we will watch the movie", said Daniel.
"Aish. Can I just refrain from it? I don't like that movie at all", Jonghyun scoffed.
"How could you conclude that while you haven't watch it yourself?", asked Chanhee.
"I don't have time to re-examine a sappy story like that", said Jonghyun.
"To be honest, Byunghun-hyung begged me to watch it couple days ago", Daniel started to giggle.
"Really? heol. He likes films like The Fault In Our Stars? that's bit...", Chanhee chuckled.
"Weird. I admit that. Byunghun-hyung usually watched strange indie stuffs", said Daniel.
"Anyway, why don't we ask him to join us?", asked Chanhee mischievously.
"Well... he couldn't go out much in this kind of weather...", answered Daniel hesitantly.
"Ah... it must be really boring living with him", Chanhee sneered.
"Hum.. we played a lot inside our room", Daniel heaved as his eyes wondered to the parking lot.
Actually this morning Byunghun was quite sulky since Daniel decided to go out with his theater friends instead watching film with him inside. Daniel said he had some rehearsals to do when in fact yesterday he informed Byunghun that today there would be no rehearsal. He really wanted to take Byunghun outside since confined with the same person in the same place was growing uncomfortable for him. But what could he do with Byunghun's condition... he didn't tell Byunghun that he went out with Chanhee though. Only Jonghyun involved.
"Okay then, I think I'll go with my other friends instead", said Jonghyun, ready to ran away from them.
"YAH! you can't, you have to stay", Daniel grabbed Jonghyun's hand tight. Jonghyun knew Daniel was lying to Byunghun that he went out alone with him today.
"If we are about to see something else I'd stay, but The Fault In Our Stars...? seriously??", Jonghyun sighed.
"Ah! what about Transformers?", Changhyun snapped his fingers.
"Hum? it's better I guess", Jonghyun whispered.
"It . I watched it with Byunghun-hyung", said Daniel.
"At least I can see some action. Let's go to the same theater and watch different movies then, case closed", said Jonghyun.
"What's the point of coin flipping then?? I bet that up so I would have friends to watch that trending movie", Chanhee said, full with annoyance.
"You still have Daniel", said Changhyun nonchalantly.
"Aish", Chanhee expressed his annoyance and put the key to start his car's engine.
"I think Chanhee-hyung needs more people to cover up his presence", Jonghyun sneered.
"Ah, that's your real intention, hyung?", Niel who sat in front stared at Chanhee.
"It's not that...", Chanhee sighed and put on his sunglasses.
"Heol. It must be it", Daniel chuckled.
"Okay okay it was partially that, and I just want to hang out with my new friends. Why not?", said Chanhee as he drove away.
A collective sighs accompanied them as they finally divided between two groups. Daniel and Chanhee spent their time in awkward silence inside the theater while Chanhee cried his heart out. Not that Daniel has no heart, he found the film sad but he didn't see what so touching about it. It even brought a smile to him when he imagined his Byunghun-hyung would cry as hard as Chanhee if they indeed watched The Fault In Our Stars couple days ago. "Ah, wait, Byunghun-hyung wouldn't cry, he would pretend to be real tough about it, maybe expect me to cry instead and comfort me after", Daniel chuckled at his own thought.
"Why?", Chanhee wiped his tears as they walked out the theater.
"No... I'm just amused imagining Byunghun-hyung if he cried like you watching this movie", said Daniel.
Chanhee sighed and put back his sunglasses, really afraid that people would recognize him. Actually they already have, it was so obvious for some girls who squealed in silence, took their smartphones and candidly photographed Chanhee. They then waited for Jonghyun and Changhyun whose film hasn't finish yet in one Bubble Tea stall.
"Byunghun would act tough, he wouldn't cry", Chanhee chuckled.
"Yeah! that's what I'm thinking too", Daniel replied passionately.
"But he's a whiny inside", Chanhee continued.
"Yah, hyung, don't call him that~! what's a matter between you two really? I tried to extract something from Byunghun-hyung these past few days but nothing came out. Were you both couple in the past? I mean, I would be totally cool about it", said Daniel, making Chanhee almost spurt all his bubble tea out.
"No... hahahaha how did you get that conclusion?", Chanhee was back with his composed nature and slurped his drink.
"Well... once he said that he wasn't surprised that you still hate him... for some reason... which I don't know what", said Daniel.
"It was quite complicated. Let's say that I loved this someone in junior high, but this someone liked Byunghun instead
