An envelope came for Wooyoung today at the JYP building. It was beautifully decorated in white and pink, with the unmistakable logo for WGM on it. He couldn't help but smile when he saw it, he enjoyed special WGM missions, even though they normally required a lot of effort on his part. It was a surprise when 2 concert tickets fell out of the envelope. He looked closely at the mission card. There was only one line, which read: Plan a surprise date with Seyoung and go to this concert together. At first, Wooyoung's heart pounded when he remembered that he was supposed to attend Ji Eun's (IU) concert tonight! But then he heaved a sigh of relief when he realised that the tickets were coincidentally for the same concert. That meant that he had two extra tickets now, as he had bought them for Khun hyung and himself. Khun had just called him earlier telling him that he had something urgent crop up and couldn't attend the concert.  He was pondering this problem when Junho walked past. "Wooyoung! What are you doing in the middle of the lobby?" Wooyoung turned towards him and got a brainwave. His eyes lit up excitedly while he took out the tickets which he had purchased earlier on from his wallet and pressed them into Junho's hands. "Take these and support IU sshi, you can invite anyone you like! My treat. Now I have to go, see you!" Before Junho could react, Wooyoung ran off.

Junho stared at the tickets in his hand while he wondered who he would invite to the concert. A name flashed into his mind and he immediately whipped out his phone and called her. "So Eun! It's been a long while since we talked! How are you? Listen, can I meet you at the JYP cafe when you're free? I have something to give to you!" 

Wooyoung headed to the nearby florist first and ordered a bouquet of pink roses. He wasn't sure whether Seyoung had gotten the mission card but he wanted to surprise her anyway. When he got the roses, he got in his car and drove off to Salt entertainment, where Seyoung worked. Of course, he made sure to call ahead in advance to ensure that she was there. 

Thankfully for Wooyoung, the surprise worked and Seyoung received the invitation well. They arranged to meet for dinner at 7pm before the concert started and Wooyoung skipped off, satisfied with how things were going. His relationship with Seyoung had improved, both on and off set. They were at least more comfortable with each other now, which made it easier for him to ease into acting mode whenever the cameras were . He couldn't resist texting Ji Eun to inform her about who was coming with him to the concert. 

Ji Eun had just finished her last technical rehearsal and was heading to her dressing room to get some rest before the concert when Wooyoung's text came. It read: Plans have changed and I'll be coming with my wife to the concert tonight hehehe ^^ see you later and fighting! 

A sudden wave of jealousy overtook her when she saw that message and in a fit of impulse, she deleted that message. How long had it been since she had started crushing on Wooyoung? Ever since she met him when they acted together in Dream High...that was in 2011, 3 years ago. She had never admitted her feelings to him, why, she didn't even admit them to herself. He treated her like his best friend, and that was how she wanted them to stay, forever. She didn't want anything to endanger their friendship. But recently, he had been talking to her a lot about his problems with Seyoung, how he thought he was falling for her but he couldn't, how he couldn't differentiate her true emotions from her acting, well all her feelings for him started bubbling back up again. This, this was the final straw. She didn't want someone who had been hurting and confusing her Wooyoung so much to attend her concert, she wanted to make her stand. 

Ji Eun was very mature for a 20 year old, especially since she started in this industry at such a young age, but at times she did get rash. And this was one of the rare times where she decided to act on impulse, where she followed her irrational heart rather than her logical mind. Without hesitation, she whipped out her phone and made a call to the concert director. 

So Eun came to the cafe, looking totally chic and casual, but still beautiful. Junho smiled cheekily when he saw her and held out the concert tickets. She took a while to absorb what she was seeing but when she did she couldn't help but squeal out loud. "THAT IS...THAT IS IU'S CONCERT TICKETS!!" Junho chuckled as he observed her fangirl reaction, which quickly simmered down to a quiet fangirl reaction when she realised that people in the cafe were staring at her. "I take it that you're free to go with me tonight then?" She nodded excitedly before giving him a quick hug. "Thank you so much Junho, I have to get back to work now but I'll meet you tonight! Saranghae!" She said the words breezily, as if it meant nothing to her, but Junho's heart swelled at her words. Particularly the last one. 

The hours flew by quickly and soon, IU's concert was about to start. The curtains opened slowly, revealing IU in a simple white dress. It gave her a very girly, innocent look. There was murmuring in the crowd, this particular stage had not happened in the previous day's concert. Indeed it hadn't, because Ji Eun had just come up with it that afternoon. She looked straight at where Wooyoung and Seyoung were sitting, and smiling at them, started to speak. "This is a special stage that I added, just for today, because I want to dedicate this song, or rather song cover, to someone. It is 2AM's "A Friend's Confession" and I really want to sing it to this person today." 

Wooyoung squirmed a little at the song title, wondering if Ji Eun was dedicating that song to him. He knew the lyrics very well, it was one of his favourite songs from his brothers 2AM, which is what worried him so. She started to sing, in her beautiful melodious voice.

By this time, tears had spurted out of Ji Eun's eyes, but she maintained her composure, and clearing , she nodded. The light director took her signal and shone the spotlight at Wooyoung. Everyone in the audience gasped, and the WGM camera crew that had been filming here and there immediately stopped filming. He looked stunned, shocked beyond belief. She continued bravely, "I have always loved you, Wooyoung, ever since we filmed Dream High together. And this is my friend's confession to you."
