"How's the food?" Kai asked.

  "Delicious" i complimented as i munched on my cheese macaroni. I noticed that he kept staring at me as i ate. "Don't mind me, i always eat like this" I said between mouthfuls.

  He smiled at me. "That's what i like about you. You don't act like other girls do. You just be yourself."

  I blushed, not knowing what to say. Luckily, my phone rang and saved me from the awkward moment. I answered it. "Hello?"

  "Darling?"

  "Dad?" Kai kept his eyes on me and it felt really uncomfortable, so i excused myself to the toilet.

  "Dad, what is it?"

  "Darling, i forgot to tell you, Kris will be your neighbour soon. I hope you remember him?'

  "Umm.. i don't. And they're moving into the haunted house ?!" I almost shouted.

  "Yeah, but they said they don't believe in ghosts, so they're moving there. And Kris is your childhood friend, remember?"

  My childhood friend..yes. If dad hadn't mentioned him, i would've forgottten this friend. His family moved to U.S when we were younger, and we never saw each other again. I didn't even bother to contact him. His dad was good friends with my dad, so that was how we knew each other."Ohh.. yea. You still contact them?"

  "Sure, why not?Even though they moved away we still contact each other. But his bussiness failed, so they have to move back. They are tight in cash now, xo if they need anything...do help them okay?"
