Minho P.O.V

After crying more then 20 minutes Jessica ended up falling asleep so I took her in my arms then carried her inside the house.

“Minho hyung…Jessica noona, is she fine?” asked Taemin looking really worried “She looks sick!”

“Outside is very cold and she has cried a lot!” I explained to Taemin

“WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE?” asked Key loudly coming out of his room followed by Jonghyun

“Can’t you keep your mouth shut? She just fell asleep!” I said annoyed

“Jonghyun already kicked her out of the house. She no longer has the right to be here.” Argued Key

“She has all the rights as long as I say so. And what is wrong with you, kicking her out of the house and leaving her freeze outside is something that a man does?” I asked Jonghyun

“She broke Jonghyun’s picture with mom and she didn’t even apologize. Hyung has all the rights to kick her out of the house, besides this problem doesn’t concern you at all so why are you so furious? It’s not he would have kicked you out of the house!” answered Key instead of Jonghyun

Jonghyun P.O.V

“She didn’t apologize? Did you even give her the chance? From the condition I found her I can bet that you didn’t even give her the chance to explain herself!” said Minho defending Jessica *What is wrong with him? I am the victim here and he treats me like I would be the culprit instead. Why is he so overprotective towards her? He is acting almost like she would be his girlfriend.*

“If she wanted to apologize she could have just say it, but she didn’t!” I said tired of hearing him scold me

“Because she is mute!” said Minho taking all of us by surprise”Even if she would want to say something she wouldn’t be able too. Do you want to hear an apology, then look at her eyes and there you’ll see most sincere apology that you want.” Said Minho referring to Jessica’s eyes that were swollen probably because she had cried “Next time if you want to prove that you’re a man then try to understand her instead of criticizing and abusing her, because what you did right now is something that only a fool would do.” Said Minho then walked away carrying Jessica to her room

“Aish…” I said annoyed but not because Minho practically humiliated me but because I knew that he was right, I hade acted just like a fool.

Minho P.O.V

After placing Jessica on her bed, I took some blankets from her drawer and covered her with it. While I was covering her I saw a tear rolling down her cheek.

“You must be really sad if you cry even in your sleep.” I said then wiped her tears away with my thumb then I got out of the room and went to kitchen to cook something for Jessica, for when she would wake up.

“What are you doing?” asked Jonghyun after entering in the kitchen

“I am cooking!” I said pointing the obvious

“I know that, but you never cook. Are you cooking for her?”

“Ihm.” I said sincerely

“Ever since she came you had been acting like you would have been her boyfriend, always defending her, sharing your food with her. Do you like her or what?” asked Jonghyun very curious

“I had been helping her because she is like a scared puppy that got lost. Three days ago her life was normal and then the next day she arrives here, in a place where she is all alone, where Key treats her like crap.”

“Key treated the other servants like this as well but you never said anything!” pointed out Jonghyun

Jonghyun P.O.V

“That was different.” Said Minho flatly trying to finish the conversation but I didn’t want to give up that easily, I wanted to hear his point of view because though I hate to admit it, he was more mature then me in many aspects.

“How was different?” I insisted

“*sigh* Those maids from before had a choice, they worked and got paid, but she does not have a choice because she is a guarantee, she can’t quit because if she does it will bring troubles to her father.” Said Minho then turned around and concentrated on the food suggesting me that the conversation was now over but I didn’t care because I had already heard what I wanted to know, well almost all because Minho avoided answering one of my questions, whether he likes her or not.

Minho P.O.V

After I finished preparing the food for Jessica I went to her room to see if she has awaken but what I found there horrified me. Jessica was shivering heavily, she looked very pale. I went to her and checked her temperature.*Good she is burning!*.After seeing how poor her condition is I quickly went to the bathroom and brought a bowl with water and a towel and then I returned to Jessica’s side to take care of her.

Jonghyun’s P.O.V

*** 1 A.M***

*bang* I heard Jessica’s door opening for the 10^th time, so I got curious about what was exactly happening between her and Minho so I got out of my room and walked to her room. I silently opened the door and there I saw Minho taking care of a pale Jessica. 

*She…she got sick…and is probably because of me, because I acted like a fool and sent her outside in that cold.*

“Come inside, don’t just stay there and stare!” said Minho who even at times like this was able to feel my presence even though I made almost no sound

“She is like this because of me, isn’t it?” I asked even though I knew the answer

“You already know the answer so what’s the point in asking?!” said Minho who like usually didn’t try to spare me from the truth

“I think I should go!” I said feeling like my presence was bothering Minho

“Hyung!” said Minho making me stop “From now on , I’ll protect her so if you ever hurt her again like today I won’t hold back anymore, I’m going to make you pay for it even though you’re my brother!” said Minho coldly then I got out of the room

*Pabo…you just admitted that you like her!*

Jessica P.O.V

I woke up feeling slightly dizzy and a little weak. Near my bed, on the hard floor was sitting Minho who was sleeping in a very uncomfortable position, and near him was a bowl with water and a towel.

*I must have been sick and he must have taken care of me all night, he really is my night in shining armor. Anyway what time is it?* I wondered I looked at the clock and was indicating 5: 40. *in about 20 minutes I’ll have to go prepare the breakfast.* I got up from my bed then I covered Minho with my blanket and then I wanted to go to the bathroom to clean up myself but Minho grabbed my hand

“Where do you think you are going?” asked Minho opening his eyes” You’re not thinking of going to work are you? “Said Minho letting go of my hand then he got up ”You are still sick…today you won’t work at all!” said Minho

But I have too…other ways Key’s going to get mad at me and Jonghyun already hates me for breaking his photo.*I wrote on a piece of paper.

“Don’t mind about those two, I can handle them. Now get back in your bed, before your fever comes back! I’ll go bring you the soup I prepared for you.” said Minho then he walked away but stopped near the door then he said something that I didn’t expected at all.

“From now on I will protect you, so whenever you have a hard time, or you simply want to talk…I mean communicate with someone just come to me. I will always be here for you.” Said Minho then he got out of the room

*This weird feeling from my stomach…could it be love? Could it be that I have already fallen for him?*
