Key P.O.V

“Hmm…hmm…” said the doctor for the 800^th time while examining Minho making the atmosphere in the room very tense “I conclude that you are out of any danger. Your heart, your lungs everything seems to be working fine. You are one lucky boy! To be honest with you when I finished the surgery and transferred you here I didn’t give you too many chances to survive…but you proved to be very stubborn and did an impressive recovery. If you continue like this then in about 1 week you will be able to leave the hospital!” said the doctor then he taped Minho on the shoulder in a friendly and encouraging manner “Don’t tire him too much ok? He needs to rest a lot in order to recover faster!” warned us the doctor then he got out of the room

“That’s my little brother…a stubborn little devil!” I said feeling relieved that Minho was fine

“Stubborn little devil?! Yah…what did I do to disserve this nickname?” asked Minho with a puzzled look on his face

“Duh…isn’t it obvious STUBBORN is because you never listen to anything that people say to you! Dad’s butler warned you not to practice boxing because you were hurt but you didn’t listen instead you continued until you made your wound open up again and then fainted. LITTLE goes because you are younger then me…and DEVIL because you are scary when you are angry. You should have seen your face when you fought with those guys, it was as scary as seeing the devil in person! Next time when you are pissed of remember me to hide under a rock!”  I said as cold shivers ran down to my spine while recalling Minho’s attitude from that night

Minho P.O.V

“I am pissed of right now…how dare you call me “devil” you noisy diva?” I said jokingly which earned me a light smack over the head from Key

“Ouch…is this how you treat a sick person? Someone call the doctor …I think I am going to faint!” I exaggerated while pretending to feel bad. Despite that everything was a joke Jessica seemed to believe it so a few seconds later she was by my side fanning me with her hands so that I would feel better “I am fine…I was just kidding!” I said while grabbing her hands that were furiously trying to produce cold air for me” I was only amusing myself a little…experimenting how it feels to prank your older brothers!” I said assuring Jessica that I was not hurt at all

“Hmm…I think that now that maybe it would be about time for us to go home and let you rest. Also, Jessica needs shower and proper sleep!” said Jonghyun ruining the mood as he took Jessica away from me

“We will come back tomorrow to visit you and also to bring you something to entertain yourself.” Said Key then he headed to the door followed by the rest

“Oh…I almost forgot! Happy birthday hyung!” said Taemin returning then he gave me one of those types of hugs that leave the other side without air “Here is your gift!” said Taemin giving me a big box nicely wrapped

“Well…I didn’t buy you any gift but …uh don’t worry I’ll make sure to make up for it. Anyway, happy birthday Minho!” said Jonghyun feeling slightly embarrassed because his gift was missing

“Don’t worry; we live in the same house so you can give me a gift any time!” I said flatly then one by one everyone left leaving me alone

*Actually…I think I already received my birthday gift. I got the chance to see anyone once again and for the first time I felt like I belong near them…I felt that I have a family. If dad would show up then it would be one of the best birthdays ever!*

Jonghyun P.O.V

“Jessica has fallen asleep!” said Key while plopping on the bed near me

“And?” I asked raising a brow because I was curious where this discussion would lead to because knowing Key I was sure that it would surely lead somewhere

“Nothing …I was just pointing out the fact that now that Minho is awake she finally is able to have a proper sleep…without worries. Is like she would have come back alive at the same time when he woke up!”

“That’s good…now everything has come back at normal...everyone is fine!” I said then I suddenly felt overwhelmed by a slight feeling of saddens

“Everyone apart from you!” pointed out Key whom I couldn’t trick because he was the person that knew me the best, he was the person that could always see what was happening in my soul “You are jealous aren’t you? You are jealous because she seems not to observe you at all…seeing her liking him it hurting you a lot!” said Key acting like a worried mother

“Ihm …I won’t lie to you because it’s pointless…she is hurting me, she is hurting me a lot, especially because the person she likes is Minho!”

“Then maybe you should confess to her!” suggested Key

Key P.O.V

“No…I won’t…because I am thinking to give up on her so even if now I am hurting…you don’t need to worry because at some point I will stop hurting!” said hyung looking heartbroken

“What do you mean, why do you want to give up on her? It does not make sense, why do you want to give up to the women you love? Because of Minho…because the person she likes is your brother? If it’s like that then get over it…in love or war everything I allowed! Minho hasn’t shown any sign that he likes her so all you have to do is work harder to get her attention!” I said frustrated because I haven’t seen hyung looking so pathetic in long time

“No…is not because of Minho…or actually it is about him…he made me remember something that I almost forgot! Seeing him lay on that bed for 4 days, with the possibility to never wake up made me remember that as long as I am who I am right now…my life and the life of the people around me is hanging by a strand of hair. I already lost two important persons…I don’t want to lose another one. So giving up on her is the best decision I can take for me…and for her too.” Said hyung then he left suggesting me that our conversation was over

* So that’s why…he still can’t forgive himself …he still holds onto that girl!*

“I’d better think of something…because this fool obviously does not know what is better for him!”

Minho P.O.V
*Hmm…is so boring…sitting here in this bed makes me feel sleepy. But how can I feel so sleepy when I just woke up after a four days sleep* I thought as my eyelids started to feel heavier and heavier with each second that passed though I knew the answer, I was still sick, and sick people need rest , so therefore that explained my drowsiness

“Wait here!” I heard a familiar voice speaking then a few moments later the door opened and my dad entered in the room “You are sleeping…the doctor was right…you seem to need a lot of rest. I guess that all that is left for me to do is watch over you…but I don’t mind. Is been a long time since I saw you sleeping so peacefully. You look the same as when you were little, like you would not have changed at all, but actually you did...you changed and became an outstanding man.”

*What is he talking about? He never saw me when I was little.*

“I still remember the day I first saw you…you were so small and fragile that I was afraid that you would brake in my hands.”

*What…so he actually saw me? Why did mom never told me? She always said to me that dad knew nothing of my existence!*

“Minho…I am sorry…I am sorry for being such a bad father to you and such a bad man to your mom. The truth is that is not at all as what you believe…I care about you a lot, just that every time I look at you I remember what a failure I am as a father…that’s why I always have treated you differently then your brothers. You have no idea how much I want to change my mistakes from the past…but I can’t…so all I can do is hope that one day you’ll come to realize that to me you are as important as your brothers. I m sorry son! I promise that from now on I’ll try to e a better father to you!” said dad then I heard him walking

Astonished by everything that I heard I was not able to say anything to him, all I could do was watch him going away.

Jonghyun P.O.V

*next day*

“Hyung…stop staring like that! You look like you could burn a hole trough Minho’s and Jessica’s head! Don’t make your jealousy that obvious!” whispered Key in my ear

“Jonghyun hyung is there something wrong with you? You look kind of sick...no actually more like constipated! “Asked Minho staring at me with his big eyes

*Sure that there’s something wrong with me…why do you need to ask when is already obvious? Jessica feeding you is what is wrong with me…she should be feeding me not you!* I thought furiously but obviously that I was not going to say that out loud “Nothing’s wrong with me…I am just thinking at some movie that I saw last night!”

“What was it about?” asked Minho curious obviously bored by sitting in the same place for so long considering that he was willing to listen me talking about the movie I saw last night, the only problem was that in reality I didn’t see any movie “Well it was about…uh...”
”I will tell you. I am a better movie teller then Jonghyun. It was a romantic/action type of movie. It was about the love story of a gang member that feel for a random girl but coincidentally this girl was already in love with the protagonists younger brother. One day the younger brother got into a very bad fight so he almost died. While he was in hospital the girl never left his side and neither did the his brother who was hurting more and more, each day after seeing the girl he loved being sad for someone else. After a while the younger brother recovered and the girl was now really happy, but the protagonist was drowning more and more in his misery after seeing the girl smile for someone else. One of s from the gang suggested him to confess but he stubbornly refused because he was afraid that the world he was part of might hurt the girl…so the lead, who I personally think that is a little stupid, looked over the girl from afar.” said Key making me want to become invisible

“And…that’s it…that’s how the movie finished?”

“No…it hasn’t finished yet…only that I still haven’t seen the end. I and Jonghyun hyung were too tired yesterday so we haven’t managed to see it until the end…but no worries I will make sure to let you know the end some day!” said Key as he shot me some glares that made me feel scared “So what do you think about the male lead ?”

“Well…though I have not seen the movie from what you have told me …I think that you are right…he is a little stupid. He should know that in love and war everything is allowed!”
