Chapter 17- Childish Kim brothers

Jonghyun P.O.V

“You heard him right?” asked Key entering in my room while drying his hair with a towel

“Hear who? “ I asked confused

“Minho…he has the same opinion as me!” *Sigh…Here he goes again*

“Minho had no idea what he was talking about. He thought it’s about a movie…I am sure that if he had known the truth he would have not said that!”

“No. That’s what you want to believe because you are scared. You are too scared that you might loose her, that’s why you keep denying it!” said Key stubbornly

“I am not scared…I just simply think that for everybody’s sake is best for me to forget about her.” I said trying to keep my calm

“That’s just another way of saying that you are scared!” insisted Key

“AND WHAT IF I AM SCARED? DON’T I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE SCARED? I LOST TWO OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSONS IN MY LIFE…DO YOU THINK THAT I WILL RISK LOSING HER TOO?”

“Not doing anything…means that you already lost her!” said Key then he got out of the room leaving behind only his words that kept echoing in my head

Minho P.O.V

***a few days later ***

FLASHBACK:

“I still remember the day I first saw you…you were so small and fragile that I was afraid that you would brake in my hands.”

END OF FLASHBACK

*Hmm…how come I can’t remember anything related to him? No matter how much I try to remember about him…there are no memoirs!* I thought while sitting on a bench in the hospital’s garden after finally receiving permission to go outside but my thoughts were interrupted by a loud noise. I looked around to find the source of the noise, which proved come from a man that was arguing with a woman.

“Come with me!“ said the man grabbing the woman’s wrist and trying to drag her towards the exit but the woman resisted. Annoyed by the woman’s persistence the man slapped her, but the woman ignored him and continued to fight back which made him try to repeat his previous actions but this time I prevented him from doing it.

“Yah…didn’t your mom teach you some manners. You’re not supposed to hit a woman.” I said annoyed with his attitude looking at the woman worried which proved too be more like a girl then a woman.( before Minho did not see the girl’s face, so after seeing her he realizes that she is younger then he thought)

“This has nothing to do with you, so stay out of it!” said the man slapping my hand away

“Of course it has…I saw it so I won’t pretend like nothing happened. Go away before you’ll regret it!” I warned him

“I’m not afraid of your threats!” said the guy coldly then he grabbed the girl’s hand again trying to obligate her to follow him

“I don’t think the lady wants to go with you!” I said coldly as I grabbed his hand

“Kid go away or you’ll regret it!” warned the man in a cold- sharp like a blade voice

“I am not afraid of your threats either!” I said then put on a lot of pressure on his hand just as I learned from my father

“Fine...I’ll let you off…but only for now!” said the man to the girl then he angrily left

“Are you all right?” I asked the girl who looked really pale as I grabbed her hand fearing that she might faint in any second

“I am fine…thanks for your help…but if you ever see me again in this situation I ask you to ignore me, to pretend that you didn’t see anything.” Said the girl coldly while pushing my hand away

“But…” I wanted to defend myself but I was cut off by the girl

“Your action were unnecessary, I didn’t ask your help so you should have stayed out of it. Many girls would probably appreciate your gallantry but I am not one of those. I don’t need a man to take care of me.” Said the girl then walked away leaving me in shock because of her attitude

Jessica P.O.V

 “Yah…where have you been? Don’t you know that you should rest so that you could recover faster?” scolded Key as soon as Minho entered in his ward

“I was getting bored…so I took a walk in the hospital’s garden, that’s all!” said Minho defending himself

“Did you get permission from the doctor? I bet you didn’t did you?” continued Key who wanted desperately to prove that he was right

“For your information I did. The doctor said that because I am recovering faster then he expected I am allowed to walk!” said Minho then he stuck his tongue out at Key

“Did you just stuck your tongue out at me?!” said Key in disbelieve “Fine …you can forget about eating the delicious cheesecake I had brought you!”

“Hyung…that’s not fair at all! You shouldn’t bully a sick person!” complained Minho whose eyes looked really sad because of the news that he would not receive cake. Seeing how cute Minho looked pouting I decided to act a little rebellious so I sneaked behind Key and looked for the cake though his bag. I easily found the sweet desert that was placed in a cute looking pink box then I took it and before Key could realize I give it to Minho.

“Yah…you thief…that’s my cake!” said Key looking really scary

“Ha…ha…that’s my girl. Well done Jessica!” said Minho then he stuck his tongue out once again

*My girl…did he said my girl…now I can die in peace. Wait what I am saying…of course I won’t die in peace because Key is going to kill me!*

“Yah…once you will recover I will make sure you pay for this!” said Key then he plopped himself in a chair near Jonghyun and started to sulk

“Hyung…do you happen to have a spoon?” said Minho who obviously didn’t give to much attention to his hyung’s tantrum. Of course that Key had no intention to answer Minho’s question so I looked for a spoon by myself to Key’s discontent who shot me a deadly glare

Jonghyun P.O.V

“ Ahh!” said Minho opening his mouth wide  making Jessica confuse “Feed me!” said Minho chuckling at the sight of Jessica’s dumbfounded expression “Ahh…” insisted Minho then Jessica shyly started to feed him

At first I tried to ignore it but in the end I lost the fight against my jealousy.

“Yah…stop feeding him. He might be still sick but he is certainly not crippled!” I said while stealing cake from Jessica

“Hyung…stop acting like some jealous boyfriend and give me back my cake!” complained Minho pouting

After hearing his words I finally realized what I have just done, so I gave him back the cake then I plopped back in the chair then I took my phone and pretended to play a game though in reality I was staling glances at Jessica

“Hyung…you at acting so stop pretending that you are immersed into a game. If you want to eat cheesecake that badly then all you have to do is ask!”

*Aish...this guy…I hate his amazing observing skills. Wait…I shouldn’t be complimenting him.*

“No thanks…I am not that desperate!” I said while giving Minho my “Leave me alone” look

“Aigoo…the Kim brothers are sulking! Sometimes I wonder who if you two are really my hyungs or my donsengs.”

Jessica P.O.V

*Aigoo…so cute. Jonghyun looks like a cute puppy while sulking and Key…well he is just Key. I have never thought that one day I would see the very mature Kim brothers can act like some 4 year old spoiled kids. This moment needs a picture!* I thought then quickly I took my phone and

snapped a picture with the two dorks, then unexpectedly Minho took the phone from my hands

*OMO…WHAT TO DO? I CAN’T LET HIM SEE MY PHONE!* I thought as a feeling of panic started to overwhelm me but luckily before he got the chance to look in it the doctor entered in the room

“Hello, I see that you are very energetic today Minho.” Said the doctor showing up stealing Minho’s attention then I took advantage of the situation and took back my phone. ”Well…since is quite obvious that from now on you will probably not spend too much time in bed , though I believe you still should, then I am thinking to let you go home, but only if you promise me to take care of yourself!”

“Really…I can go home? Today?” asked Minho enthusiastic

“Ihm…but only if you promise me to rest enough and not do anything that requests a lot of energy such as sports or going to the amusement park or anything similar for at least a week!” repeated the doctor

“Ihm...I promise!” said Minho grinning trying to look serious

“FINGERS (Minho crossed his fingers)! I AM NOT STUPID MINHO!” Said the doctor threateningly easily discovering Minho’s childish trick

“Fine…I promise I won’t do anything stupid!” said Minho pouting cutely

*Aigoo…and a few minutes ago he was complaining about his brothers when in reality he is just as childish as them.*
