Chapter 17
Love Her and Keep HerSarang woke up the next morning and stared at herself in the mirror. She groans at her reflection. Her puffy eyes were a sure and obvious sign that she had cried all night and she knew Hanbin would notice as soon as she saw him. She looked at her phone that held countless missed calls from Mino that she purposefully ignored because she didn’t want to speak with him. Not yet.
She dreaded the moment when she would meet Hanbin. She didn’t want him to ask and worry about her, since it was so like him to do so. She takes a deep breath and tries to make good use of her makeup. She finished getting dressed and slipped on her shoes before heading out the door. She sighs and makes her way towards the gate. She looked up and took a glance before looking back down at her feet.
He was already out there. “Good morning.”
“Good morning.”
Sarang looked up in surprise. That wasn’t Hanbin’s voice. “Bobby?”
He gave her a smile that made his eyes disappear. “Hanbin sent me this morning, he wasn’t feeling well.” Actually, Hanbin had begged him but refused to give a reason why.
“Oh.” Sarang couldn’t hide her disappointment but attempted to with a smile. “Thanks for coming.”
He nodded. “Are you feeling better?” They walked side by side. He had never really spoken to her until yesterday and it happened to be the most non-preferable meeting, so he really didn’t want to make the walk awkward. And just for the record, Hanbin owed him. For the thousandth time.
Sarang nodded. “Did you tell Hanbin?” She peered up at him and asked quietly.
“No.” Bobby patted Sarang’s head out of instinct. “It’s not my information to tell.” He smiled down at her.
Sarang couldn’t help but smile back. “Thanks, Bobby.”

Jinhwan wasn’t at school again and Hanbin sat at his seat unhappily. He hadn’t been in a good mood since yesterday after the whole argument and he doesn’t think he’ll get any better. He was beyond frustrated. If it didn’t make a difference for him to go back to the past, why was he even here?
Sarang and him were still divorced and he still hasn’t found out the reason why they broke up to begin with, what was he supposed to do?
“Hanbin, are you okay?” Jayoung asked out of concern. It seemed like he was really bothered by something.
Hanbin gave her a forced smile. “I’m fine.” The bell hadn’t rung for the start of class and Hanbin questioned why he was even here. It didn’t make a goddamn difference anyway. He stands up and leaves the classroom, not before bumping into Sarang at the doorway.
“Hi, Hanbin.” She sent him a smile, hoping he doesn’t notice her swollen eyes.
“H-hey, Sarang.” Hanbin couldn’t get himself to be happy to see her. It only saddened him more knowing this whole trip was useless and that whatever he had done so far for her, she wouldn’t ever remember.
“Thanks for sending Bob–“
“I have to go.” He cut her off and disappeared down the hallway. Sarang stared after Hanbin in confusion but she also felt something else. She was a little hurt. He had never treated her that way and it was a shock to her. She decided to push it away for now and went into the classroom.
Hanbin left school and went to the only other place he knew. He needed time to think by himself and about what he needed to do. His mind was a jumble mess.
As soon as the woods
