It has been 6 months since that faithful day of "friendship." Although they agreed to remain friends, they found out it was harder than they expected. Being in the same room alone was hard. They would always notice people looking at them, trying to figure out whether or not they would talk. It's worse when they are actually together. People aren't even discreet with talking about them. So, eventually, they just stopped trying to be friends in public. They did stay in touch. Not on a daily basis like before, but just the way friends kept in touch. But even that proved hard. They became so busy with their activities as idols that they barely had time to contact each other. Soon they didn't even contact each other at all. Occasionally they would talk to each other on social networks, or sometimes they texted but only when things about work are concerned. They smile at each other when they meet in the building, they even have casual conversations sometimes. But really, they stayed more as colleagues than friends.

And they were okay with that. Or at least that's what they both thought. As stubborn as two people can get, perhaps they both would win an award for that. People who really knew them could always see past their facade. They all know the two still has feelings for each other. In fact, they try to understand why these two people insist on staying apart when they obviously need to be together. But they let them be. After all, they're both grown man and woman. They can decide for themselves, and if they want to stay apart then so they be.

Although it took a lot of getting used to for everyone, their break up eventually became old news and everybody moved on from it. Well, of course except for the two of them themselves. There are times when YB would still catch GD just staring at Dara from afar, or CL peeking through Dara's room and seeing her cuddled to her favorite stuffed bunny given by GD. They kept their mouth shut. Again, they didn't want to do anything about it because as hard as their situation might be, this is as good as it gets. At least they don't try to avoid each other. At least they still have casual conversations at times. At least they don't lock themselves up in their rooms and still live their daily lives. At least they try to be happy.

At least. CL thought as they were on their way to the YG building. Everybody was called to the office for a special announcement by the president. The 4 girls have been trying to figure out what it was since last night but they couldn't come up with anything. Bom and Minzy who were seated at the back of the car were still trying to figure out what the announcement could be, while Dara and CL were watching the previous YG Family concert their manager asked them to view before its DVD was released. CL couldn't help but notice how Dara's eyes flickered as her previous Hello performance with GD was being shown. CL knows she's still hurting, but until now she's still trying to understand what pushed Dara to break up with him. She knows her too well to believe that there's a whole other reason she's not telling everybody. I will figure it out, she thought. But for now, she let it go and just looked at her beloved unni keeping the pain to herself.

As they arrived at the YG building, they went straight to the big conference room where they held all their family meetings. They found out that they were of the first few who arrived. They greeted the others and settled in their place. Bom and Minzy continued their conversation while Dara and CL went on with their watching. All the other YG artists started to arrive. When the Big Bang members arrived, the first thing everyone noticed was that Jiyong wasn't with them. The Big Bang members found they place beside the 2NE1 girls and left a seat for their leader.

Everybody was having light conversations with their label mates when Yang Hyun Suk entered the conference room with Jiyong and an unfamiliar girl. They all turned quiet all of a sudden, figuring out that announcement the president has been talking about obviously has something to do with this girl and, surprisingly, involves Kwon Jiyong as well.

"Hello everyone," the president greeted. "Thank you for patiently waiting. As you all know, we have a tradition of welcoming new family members to our company. I am so pleased to announce that this beautiful lady over here is the newest addition to our wonderful managers. Would you like to introduce yourself?" He gestured her to stand in the center.

"Annyeong everyone. My name is Kim Ji Na. It's my first time here in YG and even though the president and I haven't made any final decisions yet about my arrangement in the company, I already very excited in working with all of you in the future. Please take care of me." She received a round of applause after bowing down to them.

"You all might be wondering why Jiyong here is with us in front. Well, Ji Na here is actually a good friend of Jiyong. They have known each other since they were children. Ji Na here moved to the States a few years after Jiyong was recruited by me, and she came back to Korea just a few years ago. I was really impressed by her work so when I found out they were good friends, I asked Jiyong to recruit her for me."

Unknown to everyone, Dara was all stiff in her seat. She cannot believe this is happening. What is that girl doing here? She thought violently. Never did she realize she was ever going to see that woman again. The last time they saw each other... No, she didn't want to remember. It was a horrible, horrible experience. She didn't want to go back to that time.

"She's a really good person," Jiyong said to everyone. "She's been very dedicated at what she does since we were young, and I know whichever artist among us she handles would be really fortunate."

"You always say the sweetest things Yong," she giggled. This made Dara more annoyed, but she didn't let it show. She didn't want anyone to know that she knew this girl.

Yong?? She calls him Yong?? What does he call her then, Nana?

"Yes, Nana here is very shy at first as well so I do hope everyone takes care of her."

Knew it. Eek, I just barfed in my mouth.

"Well," the president started. "Since I introduced her to everyone already, I'm going to leave her with you guys. It would be nice if everyone tries to get to know her. We'll announce later which artist she's going to handle. Goodbye everyone."

"Goodbye sajangnim!" Everyone chorused. And with that, all the other artists started to rush towards the new YG manager. Although some of the artists proceeded to go to their schedules, they made sure to introduce themselves first to the newbie and say a few words before heading out. Of course Jiyong was beside her all the time. It was like she had her personal bodyguard and spokesperson at the same time. He was obviously taking good care of her. This made Dara more annoyed.

After the president left, CL told Dara that they should finish watching the YG family concert and should approach the new manager after everyone else is done. Dara agreed to this and just resumed what they were doing before the meeting. However, Dara couldn't concentrate. She pretended to watch but she found herself glancing at Jiyong and Ji Na every now and then. She felt like she could blow up any second, so when she thought she couldn't take it any longer, she told CL she would just go to the comfort room and just bolted out of the conference room.

She walked away. She walked and walked and walked until she found herself opening the door to the roof. She didn't realize she was holding her breath that when she inhaled air her lungs throbbed a little. She was so frustrated, she was breathing hard, and surprisingly angry tears has began to fall down from her eyes. She quickly wiped them away, reminding herself that she promised she'd never shed tears for that girl ever again. But she couldn't help it. She was just so angry that that woman was here in her sacred place, the one place she never expected to see her. She couldn't help but think that in some point, the girl planned all of this. But maybe it was just a coincidence. A big lousy coincidence.

She calmed herself down, took in and out heavy breaths. She tried to remind herself to keep her composure because nobody know that they knew each other. When she thought she was calm enough, she went on her way back to the conference room.

As she was just a few meters away from the room, she stopped on her tracks, rooted to that place. There, that woman, was obviously waiting for her to come back. When she noticed her, she started walking towards her. Dara couldn't do anything. She was paralyzed. She knew they were eventually gonna have to talk, but she never intended for them to talk alone. When she was near her, Dara pulled her inside the nearest empty room in fear of anyone seeing them together.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Dara started, unable to keep her calm. "You said you were gonna stay away."

"I couldn't help it, Dara. The president insisted I work here."

"And you just accepted it? We made a deal."

"Well, the deal is as good as void anyway. You shouldn't keep your end of the deal as well."

This made Dara more frustrated. She didn't know why this woman kept bothering her. All she really wanted was a life free of this poor excuse for a woman. But no, she just had to follow her even in her work.

"After all the things I've come to know? Huh, you really planned this didn't you?" She didn't care that her tone was accusatory. She was starting to really hate this girl.

"I just told you what you had to know, Dara. You can't blame me for that." The other said matter of factly.

"Oh no, no. I don't blame you." Dara said sarcastically.

"Look, if the three of us just talks-"

"Don't you dare!" Dara said, pointing a finger at her face in warning. "You ever try to do that and I swear you'd experience hell."

"You mean he doesn't know??" Ji Na was surprised. That must be a lot to bear.

"No, he doesn't know..." Dara said sadly.

a/n: I know it has been a long time since I last updated. I'm really really sorry!! It's been very busy at school, and I enjoyed the Christmas break too much since cousins from China came home. I'm really touched that I had more subscribers despite the lack of updates and that really cheered me up! I promise I would try to update sooner for the next chapter.
