Rainy Morning
True Feelings✿
I woke up with Zelo on my lap, I was still getting used to the idea that I finally had a pet that I could look after. The little white-furred bunny had already a place to sleep, which was a cage that I bought right after my father picked me up from school. It was a large and white cage with two floors, which the upper one had a small house-like compartment. Incredibly, that cage was on sale, so it wasn't that expensive.
I got out of the bed and headed towards the bathroom, where I took a quick shower, did my morning routine and wore my uniform to go to school. Thankfully, it was Friday. The weather outside was horrible, there were massive grey clouds, preparing to drop an ocean above the city.
It won't be a good idea to walk to school with this weather.
With Zelo on my hands once again, I made my way to the kitchen where my mother and father were already having breakfast, since my father had an important meeting with some of his superiors.
"Good morning." I greeted.
"Morning." My father replied before drinking another amount of his coffee.
"Give me Zelo," My mother said. "I'll give it the breakfast."
"Here you go." I gave her the bunny.
"Do you want me to take you to school?" My dad asked. "It started raining so much outside."
"Yes, please," I said. "Let me just send a message to Dahee."
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and sent a message to Dahee - she had the idea of giving us nicknames so no one would recognise the other's identity.
FloFlo[Good morning! My dad is going to take me to school so you don't need to come here.]
FloFlo[Since you're probably sleeping... WAKE UP!]
After a moment of waiting for her reply, my phone vibrated announcing the so awaited response.
BongBONGY[Yes, I was sleeping. Thanks for waking me up :) Okay, I'll go to school with my mum then. See u @ school :)]
She sent me another message, but I didn't see it because I was distracted by my mother who asked me something about my studies. I ate my toast slowly and drank my orange juice, the only thing that I could digest in the mornings because I had this morning sickness, I couldn't eat anything 'heavy' or else I wouldn't be able to digest it. In my room, I started to pick the books for that day's class and tidy up my bed. I looked at the window just to admire the streets, which was a normal thing for me to do in the mornings. Near my house's gate, I saw a familiar silhouette, the person had the same male uniform as mine and wearing a black cap. Instantly, I grabbed my phone and read the message that Dahee has sent me earlier.
BongBONGY[Ah btw, Jimin is going to pass by ur house to pick u up to school today. Sorry if this message is late hihihi]
Oh crap!
"Mum, grab a blanket, please!" I shouted while running the stairs down.
"Why?" She shouted from the kitchen.
I grabbed an umbrella and opened the front door, it was raining hard outside, even harder than a while ago. He was going to get sick at this rate.
"Jimin!" I shouted from the front door.
Jimin turned around, he was all soaked, from his head to his shoes. The uniform was attached to his body firmly, I secretly bit my lip.
Forget that for now Eunsoo!
"Why didn't you--" I said in midsentence.
"I was about to--" He said at the same time.
"Nevermind that." I opened the gate for him. "Come inside, you need to dry yourself."
"Are you sure?" He asked. "I don't want to bother."
"You won't bother." I grabbed his coat sleeve without realising what I was doing. "Hurry!"
Inside, my mum was already waiting with a blanket in her hands.
"Oh my, you're all soaked." She gave him the blanket, which he accepted with a bow. "You'll catch a cold."
