Tuesday 6:30pm at The Number 9

Sunny and Jessica had showed up early so that Eunjung could show them where everything was and how to mix the easier drinks. Jessica couldn't help but notice the flirtacious smirks and occasional touches that passed between their new boss and her shortest friend.

 

Eunjung was amazed at how good the two girls were and how fast they had learned. They got done training a full half hour before the club was suppose to open.

 

Eunjung smiled at the two new girls, "It looks like you girls are all set. Don't worry about tonight. For some odd reason Tuesdays are usually slower than Mondays. I think you two will do fine. But I need to go do a few things, I'll be back before we open."

 

As soon as the taller woman left Jessica elbowed Sunny, "what's going on with you and Eunjung?" she asked.

 

Sunny smiled and shrugged her shoulders, "It's really nothing, to be honest. You saw us dancing yesterday and we kissed. That's all that happened between us."

 

"What kind of kiss?" Jessica asked supciously.

 

"Just a little kiss goodbye, nothing big." Sunny said as she began to watch two of their new bosses, Jiyeon and Hyomin, giving the dance floor a final sweep before the club opened.

 

 

 

Hyomin sighed, "How exactly did we get stuck with this job, again?"

 

Jiyeon lightly growled, "because Miss-I'm-The-Boss-of-Eveything-Do-as-I-Say-Soyeon told us to."

 

"You know we could just walk out.....", Hyomin said with a smile.

 

Jiyeon smiled for a second, but then frowned, "Yeah, but that wouldn't be the 'right' thing to do. Plus, I want to keep an eye on Eunjung and this new employee of our's....."

 

She had definitely gotten Hyomin's attention, "You mean Sunny?" 

 

Jiyeon nodded, "I really don't like how chummy they are getting."

 

Hyomin understood. Through all their years together Jiyeon and Eunjung had always been close. They had dated on and off. Though it always came down to the same thing; Jiyeon calling Eunjung a player, and Eunjung calling Jiyeon overly sensitive. Hyomin saw both of their arguments. Jiyeon was being overly sensitive because Eunjung had to feed, and feeding involves kissing, and depending on how hungry the felathrope is, . But on the other hand, Eunjung really doesn't need to flirt with the person she is going to feed from as much as she does. Then again Jiyeon also tends to flirt with her food a bit more than she should, and when they were together Eunjung would never complain about it.

 

When it came down to it Hyomin would have liked to see the two happy, but in order for that to happen they would both need to just get over it. Plain and simple. Sadly, She didn't think either of them were willing to make that happen.

 

And then there was this Sunny girl added into the mix. Hyomin hadn't gotten a chance to talk to Eunjung about what her intentions with the girl were. She didn't know if Eunjung was just using her for food or if she really wanted a relationship with her.

 

Relationships with humans were possible. In fact, all the members of T-ara had been in quite a few human relationships. The problem with human relationships being that they were always incredibly awkward; for a number of reasons. First off it is always just a temporary thing for the demon; Five years max before you have to break it off because the human will notice that you aren't aging (though it's usually a shorter amount of time). Secondly, you can't  feed off of the same human too often or they'll die, so you have to "cheat". Lastly it's never fun knowing that a human you love and hold close to your heart will die long before you.

Even with all the negatives, relationships with humans were undeniably fun. They kept a demon's life a bit fresh and unexpected. Plus the feeling of being in love was always pleasant. Even if you knew you would have to break the human's heart at some point in time. Or they could possibly break the demon's heart. Though it was the first senario more often. 

 

Hyomin had been so deep in thought as she swept the floors that she didn't even notice the people who were coming into the club. She shook her head clear and quickly ran to put the large dust broom into the supply closet.

 

Hyomin was getting ready to walk up the stairs to T-ara's shared office when a familiar smile and wave caught her attention. It was Hyoyeon, the girl she had danced with the night before. She smiled and waved back before running to the other girl who was at a booth. "I'll just work really hard tomorrow night to make up for not working much tonight...", Hyomin thought before she sat down accross from her new human friend.

 

Sunny was relieved that Jessica and her had the help of two of their managers. Eunjung had been right, there wasn't as many people as there were yesterday, but there was still a lot. Not to mention that almost all of them wanted to hit on the new bartenders, so that took up more time. Jessica bearly paid them any attention, not even smiling in thanks for compliments, and telling a few of the bolder guys to off. Sunny, on the other hand, did her best to be polite about it, always saying thanks to compliments and kindly declining dates.

 

Boram, who was working the bar also, couldn't help but inwardly laugh. The two girls seemed so different. One was happy and carefree, very polite and mannered. The other one just didn't care.

 

Sunny scooted away from Jessica when she saw Yuri approaching the bar in Jessica's direction. Jessica noticed the tall tan skinned girl and frowned even more, "What are you doing here?" she asked. There was an edge to her voice.

 

"I just came to get a drink." Yuri said, ignoring Jessica's rudeness.

 

"Why did you come to me? You could have gone to any one of the other three bartenders here." Jessica questioned.

 

Yuri simply shrugged and walked to Boram instead. Sunny saw the intense rage flash in Jessica's eyes before she turned away and took out her wrath on a drunk guy who was getting a little too bold in his statements. "wow", Sunny thought, "I think Yuri might have actually given up on our Ice Princess..."

 

Sunny spared a glance at the dance floor to see Hyoyeon and Hyomin dancing. This time they were dancing together instead of battling. They looked like they were getting along really good. They were both smiling and they would occasionally touch eachother.

 

 

                                                                                         11:00pm The Number 9

Hyomin was exhausted; Hyoyeon had wore her out with all the dancing. Yeah, they took breaks to stop and talk about themselves, but they were never long enough. Hyomin could feel her hunger gnawling at her more and more intensely. It had started about 20 minutes ago. 

 

Part of Hyomin just wanted to drag Hyoyeon to the break  room upstairs ( a serparate room from the office) and feed from her there. Another part wanted to try to ditch Hyoyeon so she could find someone else. Hyoyeon was a beautiful and funny woman that Hyomin thought she might want to have a relationship with in the future, she didn't want to ruin it by feeding from her now.

 

Hyoyeon glanced at her phone and said, "Yuri is waiting for me in the car, so I better get going. But would it be okay if we went out tomorrow, like on a date, maybe? When I get off of work, around three."

 

Hyomin smiled, genuinely surprised by the offer,"Oh, uhm... sure! That sounds fun. Where were you planing on going?"

 

Hyoyeon laughed nervously, "I was actually hoping that you would come up with a place. I'm still new around here sooo....."

 

Hyomin laughed at herself, "Oh yeah! Well, if you like ice cream I know of a really nice place called, Scoops. If you tell me your number, address, and when to pick you up I'll drive you there. And it's also my treat", Hyomin smiled.

 

Hyoyeon smiled a bit shyly, "But I asked you, it isn't fair that you pay for it!"

 

Hyomin just shook her head, "You were the one that got the guts to ask me on a date first, so I'll pay."

 

Hyoyeon smiled and accpeted Hyomin's reasoning.

 

Hyomin walked Hyoyeon to the car where Yuri was waiting. Hyomin hoped on the way back she'd be able to find someone to feed off of.

 

 

 

                                                      Wednesday 4:00pm Outside Sunny and Hyoyeon's aparment

 

Hyomin sighed. She was a little nervous. What if she didn't have anything to talk about with Hyoyeon? What if she made a fool of herself. "You've got this, Hyomin! You can do this without embarassing yourself!" Hyomin cheered herself on. With renewed confidence she put on a huge smile and knocked on the door. The door opened after her second knock.

 

No amount of confidence could have prepared Hyomin for who answered the door. Sunny was dressed in loose fitting black sweat pants with bright pink socks and and a pink T-shirt. Her hair wasn't exactly messy, just wavy, but it clearly hadn't been fixed for the day yet. She didn't have any makeup on and had on large glasses. There was a warm smile on her face.

 

Hyomin's breath was taken away. She had never seen Sunny up so close before, and even without makeup and contacts she was the most beautiful and adorable woman Hyomin had ever seen. 

 

"You must be here for Hyoyeon. She should be almost done getting ready. Wait here; I'll get her." Sunny said as she went back into the apartment. Hyomin just watched as the short girl want to retrieve her friend.

 

Even after they had gotten into the car, Hyomin was speechless. Everytime she blinked she saw Sunny's adorable face looking at her.

 

"Hyomin! Hello! Are you okay?" Hyoyeon asked. Hyomin look over to see the pretty woman's face; a bit confused and concerned. 

 

Hyomin smiled as she really looked a Hyoyeon for the first this that day. "She really is gorgeous. Just not as much as..." Hyomin cut off the thought. "Stop! You're on a date with Hyoyeon. She's a really good girl and you should be paying attention to her!" Hyomin inwardly yelled at herself. 

 

"I'm fine." Hyomin reasurred her date, "Just a little out of it. I haven't been getting enough sleep lately.

 

 

 

The date was actually really nice. The two got their ice cream and then walked around the local park. Hyomin would have been having a better time if it wasn't for a certain danshin who continually drifted into her head. She couldn't help but think about how snuggling up with Sunny at the apartment and watching movies would be more fun.

 

 

 

Hyomin parked in front of Hyoyeon and Sunny's apartment. "I had a really nice time, Hyomin. I hope we can do this again sometime." Hyoyeon said with a smile.

 

Hyomin smiled back. She couldn't help but stare at the other woman's lips. They looked so kissable. Hyomin leaned in to give the other woman a kiss, and was greeted eagerly. Soon the demon at Hyoyeon's lips, seeking enterance, and she was accepted.

 

Hyomin held back her hybrid hormones, not wanting things to get too wild in the car. But of course Hyoyeon was still getting the ual high from Hyomin's feeding. The demon let her hands trace over Hyoyeon's curves as well as caress her s. Right when Hyomin's hand was about to travel under Hyoyeon's shirt, Hyoyeon pulled away.

 

Hyoyeon was breathless and her lips were swollen but she smiled and said, "Wow... You're good...."

 

Hyomin was surprised that the woman was able to pull away from her; it wasn't something that most people were able to do. But Hyomin just smiled back, "You, too" she said as she leaned in for another kiss.

 

"Whoa there!", a still breathless Hyoyeon said. "I think you'll have to wait for our second date before you can get another kiss like that."

 

Hyomin was disappointed, but she smiled none the less. She gave Hyoyeon a hug, and they said their goodbyes.

 

 

 

Hyoyeon walked into the apartment to see Sunny stretched out on the couch playing Mario. She paused the game and said, "How did it go?"

 

Hyoyeon smiled, "Really good. Hyomin is an amazing kisser."

 

She had Sunny's attention, "Oh, really now? What all happened?"

 

Hyoyeon sat beside Sunny on the couch, "Well we had ice cream, and we went to the park...."

 

Sunny playfully pushed Hyoyeon, "Get to the good stuff already!"

 

Hyoyeon laughed, "Okay, okay. Afterwards she drove here and we may have made out in the parking lot...."

 

Sunny grabbed Hyoyeon's hands and jumped up off of the couch, pulling Hyoyeon with her. Sunny began to jump up and down happily while laughing, "I'm so happy for you!"

 

 

 

                                                                      8:00pm at Taeyeon and Tiffany's apartment

 

Taeyeon had called a slayer meeting since Jessica and Sunny took the night off. The small apartment was a bit of a squeeze, but with some girls sitting on laps or the floor, they managed to make it work. 

 

Taeyeon, who stood in the middle of the room, said, "I called the meeting tonight to make sure we were all up to speed on everything. I did a test on the sample of blood Hyoyeon and I collected. Evidently it belongs to a felathrope succubus hybrid."

 

"What the hell is a felathrope?", Jessica asked from her spot on the floor.

 

"Oh!" Seohyun exclaimed, "I remember learning about those. But we didn't go over them much because they are rare..."

 

"Aren't they kind of a werecat or something close?" Sooyoung asked from the couch.

 

Taeyeon nodded her head and continued speaking, "They are sort of a werecat, but not really," Taeyeon explained what felathropes were, and their feeding habbits.

 

"But you said this thing was also a succubus. So does it feed like a succubus, too?" Sunny asked.

 

Taeyeon shrugged, "I'm not really sure to be honest. All I know is because it's a hybrid,  it's probably a lot more dangerous than a typical felathrope. Plus demons usually travel in packs, so chances are there are either more hybrids, more felathropes, or more succubi around. We really need to start hunting more a socializing less."

 

 There was a moment of awkward silence as most realized that they had been spending a lot more time acting like normal humans rather than hunting.

 

Just then Taeyeon clapped her hands together, bringing everyone's attention to her. She smiled and said, "But we'll make up for it! I worked out assigned spots and groups for hunting tonight." The kid leader pulled a scrap of paper out of her pocket and began to list their groups and places, "Tiffany and I will patrol The Number 9. Yoona, Yuri, and Seohyun will patrol the forest. Hyoyeon, Jessica, Sunny, and Sooyoung have the graveyard."

 

Murmuring broke out amoung the eight other women.

 

"Why didn't you just separate us into three groups of three?" Sooyoung asked

 

"And why have four people at the graveyard? Shouldn't there be more in the forest since that's the only place we've actually spotted a demon at?" Yoona criticized.

 

"Hush!" Taeyeon yelled, "I am the leader and I know what I'm doing! Teacher said that graveyards are usually places where newly turned vampires hang out, and Sunny, Sooyoung, Sica, and Hyoyeon did the best with vampire hunting techniques in training; so I placed them there. Yoona, Yuri, and Seohyun are usually the most stealthy out of all of us, and the best with ranged weapons, so they are in the forest. Fanny and I are at the club because we were specially trained to be resistant to succubi and incubi. I know what I am doing. Now, that doesn't mean we won't run into other demons than the ones that usually hang out where we are sationed, but it's more likely that we will. Now, get your gear together. It's time to hunt."

 

 

 

 

AN: After reading through this chapter a few times I realized just how uneventful it is :/ But I promise the story will speed up! 

 

Okay guys, I really need some feed back on a few things. The first being, is updating kind of long chapters, like this, about once a week okay? Or would you rather have shorter updates about twice a week?

 

The second thing is, what weapons do you guys think the members of SNSD should be specialized in? Obviously Seohyun, Yoona, and Yuri are going to use silent ranged weapons, but there is a variety of those (bows, throwing knives, ect...). I'm thinking Taeyeon and Tiffany will be more magic oriented and use daggers or hidden blades. Sunny, Sooyoung, Jessica, and Hyoyeon I'm not so sure about. But I'm thinking that Sooyoung would definitely look badass weilding blade a tipped three sectioned staff. I'm also not exactly a weapons expert, so there are probably a lot of awesome weapons I'm not thinking of.

 

Of course they will carry the typical slayer weapons as well. This is just what they are best at using, and use the most.
