The Request
For You, Anything... And EverythingA/N: hi, everyone!
first, let me say something: I never pretended that this story would have a happy Homin ending. for those expecting Homin living happily ever after, I'm sorry but this story is about a strained Homin and a happily ever after Yunjae.
That's why the Prologue is the way it is (Yunjae visiting Changmin's gravestone), so that nobody would feel when we get to the actual ending that I've just strung them on and led them on for a Homin ending. I'm sorry if some feel that I should have explicitly said that that was the ending, though. So yeah, if I need to say it explicitly, then here it is: Changmin dies in the end and he succeeds in brining back the Yunjae couple together.
(and for those who voted in the poll results months back in Chapter 3 on how Min would die in the story [I'm sorry if that sounds rather harsh], I've already decided on something, in case you're wondering)
so yeah, sorry again if that wasn't clear to everyone.
anyway... here's the next chapter! hope you like it XD :)
Yoochun and Junsu were in the younger member’s dressing room, with Junsu just having finished performing in a musical. Yoochun had just finished the final shooting day for his drama and had been very much looking forward the time off he would be having, seeing as his next projects wouldn’t be starting until next month. And since Junsu’s musical was to finish around the same time, Yoochun had thought to stop by the theater first so that the two of them could go back to their dorm together.
Hence, Yoochun was now currently waiting for Junsu to finish having his make-up removed.
“When is Jaejoong hyung coming back again?" Junsu asked, scrunching his face up as the make-up noona rubbed it clean.
The eldest member of JYJ was currently in America for one his projects.
"Some time around next week, I think. Monday or Tuesday..." Yoochun replied.
Just then, Junsu's phone started blaring loudly in his bag on the couch.
"Answer it for me, will you, Chunnie?"
Yoochun sighed and put his own phone that he had been fiddling with back into his pocket, and complied with the younger's request.
“Hello?” said the person calling Junsu's phone in a hesitant tone. Then, the person cleared his throat and said in a steadier tone, “Junsu hyung?”
“No, he’s currently occupied right now to answer his phone,” Yoochun said to the caller. He couldn’t help but frown. He couldn’t really be sure because of the static, but the caller’s voice sounded very familiar to him, though it was also something that he might not have heard for a very long time. And to make things even more odd for Yoochun’s part, he couldn’t help but get a sad, nostalgic feeling upon hearing the person’s voice.
The person calling paused for a while, and said in a tone even more hesitant than before, “Yoochun hyung?”
“Who is this?” Yoochun asked. If the person on the other end was getting more hesitant, Yoochun’s frown was getting more pronounced, making Junsu glance at him curiously.
“It’s…” The caller cleared his throat again, and said in a barely audible voice, “It’s… Changmin.”
Yoochun let out a loud gasp that had Junsu and the rest of his musical’s staff present in the dressing room staring at him. But he didn’t even notice their reactions, to shocked that Changmin was actually calling them.
“Who is it, Yoochun?” Junsu asked.
After being members for so long, Yoochun and Junsu just can’t help but know each other’s body language very well. So when Yoochun sent Junsu a look that said “make-everyone-clear-out-the-room-NOW”, Junsu immediately got the message and requested the staff to give them some privacy.
The staff all immediately followed Junsu’s instructions, but it also just made them more curious about the phone call, and most of them kept glancing back at Yoochun as they left the room.
‘It’s better than the alternative, though,’ Yoochun thought warily, being the ever-practical one and thinking about how the media would hound down on all of them i
