For You, Anything... And EverythingPrologue
“Junsu’s soccer team just won a game yesterday. All three of us were there cheering for him,” Jaejoong said, smiling a bit as he looked down. “Yoochun did convince him to go golfing this morning. Yunho and I aren’t looking forward to hearing Junsu’s complaints later though. Because you can bet that Junsu will be complaining about it,” he continued, grimacing a bit.
“And it’ll be lengthy,” Yunho added from beside Jaejoong, chuckling a bit. He was also smiling down sadly.
“We’re meeting them later to work on the plans for the comeback concert. Then we’ll all probably head out for dinner later. We’re going to that restaurant we all used to go to before. You loved their ramen so much that you once ate 10 bowls in one sitting, remember?... Yeah, things here are pretty good now. Everything’s almost back to normal; it’s like the whole lawsuit never happened,” Jaejooong said wistfully.
Both of them were quiet for a few moments, before Jaejoong let out a sigh.
“But you know what? We really doubt things can really go back to normal. Because-“ Jaejoong’s voice cracked a bit. “B-because… you’re not there with us.”
He took a few deep shuddering breaths to compose himself. Yunho’s eyes were shut tight.
“I know you’d probably hit me for being all teary right now, if you're here with us right now, but that’s just it… You're not here with us. And... I-It’s just not the same without you,” Jaejoong mumbled despondently.
