You entered the photoshoot set with Kai beside you. He said something and you chuckled lightly together with him. You just found out today that this guy was a nice and friendly person. You thought he’s some kind of cold arrogant guy.

“I can imagine his expression when he did that.” You said, still smiling wide.

Kai chuckled along with you. Without both of you knew, someone saw everything from the corner of that place while doing makeup for the photoshoot. The staffs noticed the both of you and the photographer and the staff from the magazine approached you and Kai and both of you bowed to him. He talked to Kai, and soon, the stylist called for Kai because Kai will have the first photoshoot. You smiled to him when he excused himself.

The photographer and the magazine staff also excused themselves to get ready for the shoot. You nodded politely while giving a small smile. Another staff called you and directed you to the dressing and make up room. You went there and sat there waiting for your turn. While you were waiting, you decided to play with your phone. Not long after, you heard steps of high heels came closer. You ignored it since you’re not really got distracted by it. But then, the steps stopped beside you, as you can see pair of heels, followed by someone cleared his/. You looked up with eyebrows twitching. And that’s when you saw a pretty face with a sly smile. Your expression hardened, but you tried to calm yourself and looked as friendly as you can.

“Wow, what a coincidence. We meet again here.” The girl greeted you.

You just gave her halfhearted smile.

You greeted her back. She nodded to you still with her arrogant aura you hated the most. She sat in the seat beside you and looking to the mirror, checking her well done makeup with her smirked on. You just looked at her reflection with so-unfriendly-stare.

“I didn’t expect you will be one of my partners for today’s photoshoot.”

“Same here.” You just replied her shortly while looking back to your phone.

You can saw how she looked at you with hatred from the corner of your eyes. But then, she immediately changed her expression and put on her so-called-smile. But for you, it’s none other than mockery.

“Let’s work together nicely. Well, see you on the shoot.” She said, then got up from her seat and walked away.

You got your makeup done, and were ready for the solo shoot. You walked to the set, and ready for the shoot, when you felt stares. These stares were from Yujie, Kai, and the staffs. But the most unpleased stare was from no other than Wang Yujie. But strangely, you felt another uncomfortable stare from another person, but you couldn’t find where the person was. You decided to ignore it since your photoshoot has begun. You did a great poses and expression for your photoshoot.

After your solo shoot done, followed by couple shoot for you and Kai. Both of you worked in synchronize and looked like a real couple. The chemistry you and Kai showed in front of the camera was really great. Everyone was satisfied with you and Kai’s work, and it came to the end of you and Kai’s shoot, and it was Yujie’s turn. You were about to leave the set to the dressing room, when your eyes fixed to a guy beside Yujie. Yujie’s couple shoot partner. It was him. You stood still, frozen at your spot with eyes fixed to Yujie and Kris posing for their photoshoot. You never knew Kris will also be in this photoshoot. Until someone tapped your shoulder.

“Hey. What are you looking at?” Kai suddenly appeared beside you.

You were slightly shocked that he’s suddenly popped out of nowhere.

“Aren’t you supposed to change to another outfit for the last shoot?” He asked you.

You looked back to him and nodded immediately.

“A─ Ah, right! I need to change.” You walked to the dressing room, but Kai still following you.

“Kris hyung also in this photoshoot.” Kai said suddenly.

“Huh?” You looked at him confused, but also felt anxious inside.

“You’re surprised, right, that he was here? Together with his oh-so-called-girlfriend?” Kai rolled his eyes.

You just gave him a dry chuckle.

You said, more to yourself while looking down to your hands. Kai looked at you with unreadable expression.

“That witch─ I mean his girlfriend, she’s looking at you with…unfriendly stare?”

Kai wanted to ask you why, but giving a questioning statement instead, since he’s hesitating.

“Yeah…” You just answered him shortly.

“She looked like hate you and somewhat her stares looked so fierce and it looked…err, scary.” Kai scratched his neck.

You chuckled seeing him and just shrugged as your comment to what he said.

“Well…I guess she didn’t like me? Maybe because I’m too fab.” You said to him with a grin in your face.

He chuckled as he playfully messed your hair. And that’s when you heard someone cleared his/. It was already the second time you heard it. Both you and Kai looked to the source, and found Yujie stood there with her hands interlocked with Kris’. She smiled slyly to you, while Kris looked at you and Kai with unreadable expression combined with his usual coldness. You found it somewhat a bit scary.

Suddenly you felt uneasy and the anxiousness inside of you already in the verge of it. You tried to control your expression and didn’t show them how anxious and afraid you were.
