“Yuri… Yuri!!” a man’s voice called out from the outside. Yuri? Is it me? Is my name Yuri? “My God! Yul! Yuri!!” he called out more. Who is that? “Yuri-ah!! Yuri-ah!” another voice came but this time it’s a woman’s voice. “Baby, hold on, Help!!” she shouted. “Y-Yul?” a voice beside me called out, a weak boy’s voice. “W-who…” I feel so much stinging in my head and my back. I can’t see anything. It’s all dark… and red… Blood?! Why is there blood?! W-where am I?! Help! Why can’t I speak?! Help! Help!! Then

~BOOM!!!~

 I heard something explode from somewhere near us. “My God! Noo!!” the female voice from earlier is now sobbing. Wae? Why is she crying? “H-Help…” I finally said. “H-hang on boys” the male voice said, but his voice is cracking.. W-what’s happening? Slowly… I’m drifting to sleep… “Yul! Yul…”

            I slowly open my eyes. It’s cold because of the air conditioner but why am I sweating so much? I feel so thirsty too as if all the fluids inside me went out of my body… That dream, the same dream’s been haunting me for years now. But there’s nothing more than that. Just what was that? And who are they? Those people and that explosion… Their voice, they were so familiar, but I can’t remember who… ugh, m-my head! It hurts!!

          I opened the drawer near me and took out a white bottle. I took two pills and swallowed them together. My doctor said it will lessen the pain and throbbing in my head… and slowly, it’s fading.

          That dream, just what and who are they? Should I tell umma and appa about this? But, I don’t want them to worry… I lied back on my bed… 5:30 am… I can’t sleep anymore.

~MEANWHILE~

          Ahh!! It hurts!! M-my arm! It hurts! I tried to open my eyes but I can’t. It’s so dark! So freaking dark! I hate it!

“My God! Yul! Yuri!!” a man’s voice shouted not far from where I am. “Y-Yul?” I whispered. Who is he? I’m not alone? Then… “W-who?” who is it? I tried to speak but I can’t… I can’t move an inch, I’m stuck and my whole body hurts. I can hear faint voices from far but slowly… slowly… I’m losing… I can’t stay awake… Am I even awake though? Then

~BOOM!!!~

I heard an explosion and a woman crying… I can’t hold on anymore. The pain, the question, all gathering up taking my last remaining strength away…

“Ugh…” I bolted out of bed and fell on the floor… hard!

“T-that dream again” I’m panting so hard as if I ran on a marathon. Please stop… my arms, it’s hurting again. “Ahh…” I bit my lips trying to contain my shout so I wont wake anyone up. But! Damn! It hurts so bad!! Whenever I have this dream I always wake up due to the pain if not on my head then my arm. But, aside from this dream, I have nothing… nothing to connect me to my past. Only childhood pictures, well just a few actually, and of course my parents and Yul.

It’s still so early and the sun’s not even up yet. I noticed my phone lit up.

          Yuri came to our house just in time for breakfast. “Uncle, Auntie, good morning!” he greeted my parents who are on the table with us. “Good morning Yuri-ssi. What brought you here so early?” My umma asked. “I just missed Taengoo.” My parents laughed at Yuri’s silliness. “Looks like Tiffany have a new rival.” My dad said while reading his newspaper. “I met Taengoo first. Tiffany just came. She’s the third wheel in our relationship” Yuri said as he eats his toast. “Aish! Seriously Yuri! You’re disgusting!” I threw my table napkin to him. “What? It’s true!” I stand up “Taengoo, finish your breakfast first.” my mom said. I can’t tell her that I can’t lift my right arm once again making it hard to eat. I just grabbed a toast. “I’ll just be in my room. Don’t worry about me umma.” I smiled at her before leaving. Yuri must’ve noticed it because he looks at me worriedly.

          “Taengoo” Yuri entered my room and sat on my bed. “Your arm?” he asked. “Yep. Can’t tell them. They’ll be so worried. Especially umma”

“Wanna go to a doctor?”

“Nah. It’ll be gone later. I can lift it up little by little now.” I said trying to lift up my arm, but I still can’t. “Don’t force yourself Taeng. It took years for it to hea
