Home Sweet Home

The first time he entered this apartment was after their meeting under the heavy rain. The man gave him a change of clothes, a hot chocolate and offered to him an eternal love in marriage. Then, the second time was the day he became a wife. With a hand dragging his pink travel bag, and the other one entwined with his husband’ fingers, he heard Kai whispered gently while opening the door for him,

“I know, you deserve a better wedding day, with cake and decorations and all, so I’m sorry, my love, all I can give you is only this…”

Luhan eyes widened at the sight in front of his eyes. Just when Kai opened the door, he faced a walkpath from white rose petals, from the foyer and covering the entire floor of the house. His face heated, and his mouth tugged into a small smile as he unconsciously scooted closer to Kai.

“I’m sorry,” Seeing his upset face made Kai asked him in worry, “do you dislike it? Should I clean it up?”

Luhan released his grip on his bag and grabbed his husband’s front shirt. He bit his bottom lips, suffocated by his own emotion as he shook his head repeatedly, “No,” he gulped, held an urge to cry, “just…” his eyes found Kai and his mouth gasped in a silent question of,

‘just how much you love me?’

He couldn’t ask that, he was afraid the answer was something he couldn’t return to. Since their first met, since this man confessed Luhan have this fear if he couldn’t love Kai as much as Kai loved him, that’s why he swallowed the words back and decided to smile. 

 “It’s not something to sorry for.” He said.

“Really?”

Luhan nodded, “umm. It is so beautiful.” He took a look at the white interior again, let his heart found the content beat so he could put a real smile this time, “I really love it.”

“Well then,” Luhan almost yelped when Kai lift him up to the chest. With blushing face, he stared at Kai as the man struggling out of his shoes and taking a step into the house,

“Welcome home.”

It was a one-bedroom apartment near the station, a common place with common furnitures. It’s nothing compared to Xi House where he used to live. But in this ordinary place Luhan found solace, he found there’s love only for him and because of that when Kai let him stood in the middle of their small living room, let his feet touched the soft petals, he cupped his husband face and tiptoed so he could give the man a peck of affection to show how thankful he was for this precious gift,

“I’m home.”

This is their home sweet home.

“I’m home.”

Luhan almost raced to the door the time he heard the soft murmur along with the sound of an opened door. Even though he just sent his husband off this morning, and had a lunch together this noon, it didn’t less his thirst over the man’s presence or his hunger for any part of body he could touch and let him felt the man was really here, was really for him.

“Welcome home.” He whispered in joy, smiled widely when their eyes met and their body clashed into a tight hug. For a while, they only stood there, wrapped in each other warmth to recharge their energy and satisfy the desire which slowly built from their eyes. No air enough for both of them, not when they’re this close, because of their love already turned into a vulnerable disease.

 “Do you miss me?”

The usual him would grunt lowly in shame at hearing such cheesy words from his husband. Hence he should feel disgusted cause he believed there’s no such thing like romance in the real world. But there’s an exception, only for the handsome brunette who shared a life with him. The sweet words not only kicked away the longing inside his little heart, it also made him smiled contently into Kai’s lips at the overwhelmed feeling of happiness and joy poured into him at all once.

“Yeah, I miss you.”

If only he was born as a part of Kai’s body, they would always be together and there won’t be a time for him to say good bye. But of course, that was impossible so he closed his eyes, prayed that the future wont’ so cruel to them and gave more happiness than tears.

“Luhan…”

Meanwhile, Kai stared at the beauty inside his arms with his shoulders shivered at how obsessive his love turned be, even blinking his eyes felt like a waste now. His lips mouthed Luhan’s name while his hands stayed around the slim waist, kept the younger brunette warm and loved, before he caught the pink lips, kissed the boy over and again, with the right amount of tenderness yet still so deep and fierce cause he couldn’t deny this arrogance seeping through his veins. Luhan was his, and his only and for that he both felt thankful and afraid. It’s like his life before was nothing, erased from his memory as he started a new page with this boy as husband and wife, but he’s also feared upon the future if it was too hard for his delicate wife to handle, if later on, tears would be seen from these beautiful brownish orbs because of him.

“Hey, Luhan…” He gasped and couldn’t help but formed a smile as he felt Luhan’s short breath brushing his mouth. To hear the loud beat in their heart raced in response it ,enough to set his mind at peace. What he was afraid of, the most important thing was the present time of this love. It made his smile turned into grin and as he kissed Luhan again, he whispered into the boy’s mouth,

“Remember when the first time I said love?” he laughed, a happy laugh while his eyes got teary and his face reddened from the heat building under his skin, “do you know what it means? It means, even though I can’t promise you a happily ever after, even I’m not a perfect husband, I can make sure,” his voice turned raw and his vision became blurry but it was because he felt so blessed to have Luhan only for him, “there’s nothing in this world can stop me from loving you.”

He tucked his head down, let their forehead met, breathing in the steady rhythm to stop the cry from breaking his pride as a man. Fortunately, a ticklish feeling relaxed his face and made him laughed at hearing Luhan sobbed.

“Please don’t do this to me.”

“I’m sorry.” Kai tried to stop his laugh, while wiping away the tears on Luhan’s face. However as their warmed skin met, Luhan melted again and cried even harder.

“No!” Luhan shook his head, “Your love for me, Kai, it’s not something to sorry for.” His words made Kai stunned, could only froze watching his body trembled hard because of the cries, “it’s just, I’m afraid what if  I can’t give the same amount of love to you.”

His mind turned blank at the words, but his body reacted by embracing Luhan and his lips whispering words, the words he couldn’t even manage to hear. In no time, he was kissing Luhan, struggling with Luhan to get free from their clothes and let moan filled in their precious night.

There’s nothing better to answer each other love than a love making.

“Who said we can’t get honeymoon?”

There were sounds of lips locked and husky hums and breathless giggles from the foyer. Clothes spreaded along the wooden floor while there’s a beauty sitting on the buffet, black hair messed in a cute way and tired face still flustered in red. His lover stood in between his pale and legs, kissing and teasing him just to gain squeal from the younger ones, cause no matter what, the happy Luhan looked the best.

“Stop teasing me.” Luhan whined as Kai buttoned his white shirt on the boy. It only made Kai smirked so Luhan leaned close and pecked the man’s lips to erase the smirk away from the handsome face.

Kai laughed, “ then stop touching me.”

 Luhan retreated and pouted in disagreement, “pffft, that’s ridiculous!” he crossed his hands around his chest, “why can’t I  touch my own husband?!” he asked in protest.

“Fine, fine.” Kai sighed, “do as you wish then…” he had a bad feeling that living with Luhan would be the death of him someday due to his weakness over such adorable act. He leaned down in front of Luhan, gathering the clothes under their feet.

Luhan himself was aware of the way Kai treasured him. and as if it’s not enough made him happy, he craved for more attention by raising one of his slim leg and let his pinkish toes ran on the tanned back of his husband. He moaned, and laughed in the same time with Kai grabbed his cold feet with a tight grip.

“Hey.”

The man grumbled in warning tone, although Luhan knew it was far from anger, so he spreaded his hands wide and laughed, “I want to get a hug.”

Kai stood up straight, “what are you, five?” the man sighed but did hugging him, lifting him up from the uncomfortable buffet and carrying him to the couch, where Luhan took liberty to kiss him, taunt him to set them in another addicting fire of desire.

“Are you okay?” Luhan felt his under skin shivered in bliss at hearing such caring words from Kai. He stopped kissing the man and hugged Kai’s neck tightly to suppress the tears from taking control of him again. It’s like he turned into a mess everytime Kai was near. But it’s okay. When he was with Kai, he didn’t have to look strong, or be strong. This man was here to protect him from the world, to be his sanctuary.

Even from his family.

“What?” Luhan smiled into Kai’s neck, breathing into the older’s scent so he won’t remember what happened with his mother this noon. It brought a question to his mind, a stupid question which he let passed from his lips, “Kai…”

“Hmm?”

“Will you get tired of me, someday?”

Luhan loosened his hug when there’s no immediate answer from his husband. He looked up, a little fear now clouding in his hazy eyes when he saw Kai was frowned. He wondered if he asked wrong question  and crossed the line. Sorry was almost mouthed out when Kai grabbed both his smaller shoulders and hissed lowly,

“How could I get tired of you?”

Luhan felt his own heart trembled at seeing the fierce gaze focused on him and he muttered a low whine at the strong hands dug into his delicate skin.

But probably what crushed him into pieces was the next thing escaped from his husband lips,

“I only have you, Luhan.”
