A Chance to Change the Past“It looks amazing, doesn’t it?” Yunho asked me all of a sudden, smiling a bit.
We had been driving for about half an hour now, and even in my horrible situation, I still can’t help but look at all the sites flashing by the window.
I nodded sheepishly. “I’ve never seen anything like it before. Tokyo is just… wow. I mean, I’ve never been out of my country before, and even if it ever did happen, I never imagined it would be anything like this situation... but still, Tokyo’s too beautiful and exhilarating to not be amazed with.”
Yunho nodded thoughtfully, then asked, “You’ve never been to another country before?”
I shook my head. “Never. I didn’t think it was ever gonna happen, actually.”
“Why is that?” Junsu, who as sitting opposite me and beside Yoochun, asked curiously.
“Er… I’m really and seriously terrified of heights,” I admitted. “I can’t imagine that being on a plane will be a good thing for me.”
“Really?” Changmin smirked, turning from his seat in front to look back at us. “We have the rest of the week off, I’m sure we can take you on a plane a fair few times.”
The other four members sighed at him. I was glaring and was just about to snap back again, but I tried to control my temper. “I don’t think that’s possible. I don’t have a visa, not even a passport. So you can’t take me anywhere by plane,” I replied coolly.
“And you’re forgetting that we’re Dong Bang Shin Ki,” Changmin shrugged. “We can make arrangements. We’ll have you on a plane somehow.”
That made me lose my temper again. “Are you deaf? Didn’t you just hear that I said I’m terrified of heights?” I didn’t care if I was being rude, I didn’t care if he was one of the most famous persons in Asia. I knew he was baiting my anger on purpose, but I just couldn’t help but take the bait.
“Yes, I did, and that’s exactly why I’m suggesting it,” Changmin said cockily to me.
“Oh, shut up, you dolt,” Yoochun said, reaching over to hit him on the head.
“Hyung!” Changmin complained.
I don’t know what Yoochun said, but I liked how he hit the jerk on the head. I liked it a lot, in fact.
