Learning About The Past: Junsu's Turn
A Chance to Change the PastHi, guys! So here's the next part of Erin trying to find out more about the boys' current situation.
Hope you all like it :)
It was just early evening when we got back to the suite.
I had watched with wide eyes as Changmin devoured (there was no other word for it) everything in sight during lunch, while his other members all chuckled amusedly at my shock, and we had afterwards merely spent the afternoon sitting from café to café, while sampling their coffee, cakes, and other pastries.
The lazy slowness of the latter part of our day took its toll on us, so even if we technically haven’t done much, we all somehow felt too tired to do anything other than to plop down on the seats in the living room as soon as we entered the suite.
From the threshold, Changmin walked across straight to the sofa and collapsed face-down on it, his long, lanky body taking up all the space.
“Move over,” Jaejoong muttered tiredly, trying to shove Changmin’s ridiculously long legs out of the way. But he wouldn’t budge.
“Leave me alone, hyung,” Changmin’s muffled voice grunted. “I’m booped.”
“That’s not even a real word,” I told him, rolling my eyes, as I fell down the same armchair that I had occupied last night. “So, get your freakishly long legs out of the way so that Jaejoong oppa can sit!”
Changmin raised his head just enough to scowl at me. “What are you, some kind of English major or something?” he snapped.
I raised my eyebrows at him. “Yes, I am, actually.”
The four other members all turned to look at me. I gave them a small smile.
Changmin, however, just scowled even more. “That was a rhetorical question!”
The smile was wiped off my face in an instant. “Sure, it was…” I told him in a very mocking tone.
He let out a low growl as he pushed himself off the sofa and placed himself right in front of me. I also stood up from my seat to face him head on.
Even if he was almost a goddamn feet taller than me.
Shoot.
Jaejoong, meanwhile, didn’t seem to give a damn that we were about to fight again. “Hallelujah,” he muttered, before claiming the spot Changmin had just vacated, stretching and groaning in relief.
If Jaejoong wasn’t very much bothered about me and Changmin, the other half of the Yunjae couple, on the other hand, was very much annoyed and frustrated with us.
“Can you two not lay off each other for more than five seconds?!” he shouted as he got in between Changmin and I. Meanwhile, Junsu had grabbed onto my shoulders and Yoochun forcibly dragged Changmin away.
“Yeah, sure, five seconds is nothing,” Changmin replied sarcastically, trying to get Yoochun off him. “She does or says something to annoy me every five minutes, though.”
“I do something to annoy you?” I scoffed.
This guy was unbelievable!
Yunho was gritting his teeth so hard that if I wasn’t so mad I’d worry that they would be reduced to stubbles. He was about to shout at us again, when a loud snore from the sofa made him, Yoochun, Changmin, Junsu, and I all turn our heads in that direction.
He hasn’t even been on the sofa for more than 2 minutes, but Jaejoong was already fast asleep, his mouth hanging open.
“Charming,” Yoochun snorted, finally letting go of Changmin, now that there was no chance of him charging at me again, since the maknae was too busy staring disbelievingly at his snoring hyung. Yoochun then turned to me. “Just what exactly did you two do earlier? I mean, I’m knackered, but I’m not that beat,” he laughed.
“I didn’t do anything to him,” I laughed as well. “I actually thought he really enjoyed the shopping.”
Not counting the part where we talked about their company, of course, I added to myself.
“Of course he did,” the four members who were still awake all chorused. They said it in different ways, though: Changmin said it while rolling his eyes, Yoochun was snickering for his part, Junsu was giggling, and Yunho said it while smiling fondly at Jaejoong
Well, at least now I understood why he was looking at Jaejoong like that. Hehe, Yunjae ftw!
“Alright, I better get this sleeping beauty to bed,” Yunho smiled, picking Jaejoong up bridal-style and making me see one of my most favorite Yunjae fantasies happen right before my very eyes.
Woah…
As he hoisted Jaejoong into his arms, he glared at Changmin and me. “Changmin, Yoochun is sharing the room with you tonight. Erin, you stay with Junsu in the second room.”
“YES!” Changmin and I both shouted gleefully at the same time. And then, yes, we glared at each other again.
Yunho muttered darkly under his breath, before looking at Yoochun and Junsu. “You two can keep those two in line tonight,” he instructed, before stalking off to their room, kicking their door open and then slamming it shut with his foot.
“Brilliant,” Yoochun grimaced. Then, he swung his arm around Changmin’s neck and pulled him into a headlock. “Alright, Minnie, let's go to bed!”
“Don’t call me that!” Changmin growled, struggling to break lose. “And I’m not sleeping yet! It’s still early!”
My God, does he sound exactly like a whining child or what? And yet, at the same time, I also found it quite… endearing? I shook that thought quickly out of my head.
Well, I suppose him acting like a child is much better than him acting like a jerk, anyway, I thought.
“Ah, no way,” Yoochun said cheerfully, pulling Changmin to the direction of the third room. “I want to get some rest, but I’m not risking you two fighting again! Not when it means that Yunho hyung will have my head for it, at any rate. So, you’re coming with me!”
“Well, at least I can finally get the bed on the right,” Changmin mumbled, smirking and shooting a look back at me. I narrowed my eyes at him.
Yoochun, however, stopped walking abruptly and raised an eyebrow challengingly. “Oh, yeah? And what makes you think I’m letting you have that bed?”
“Hyung!” Changmin complained, very much dismayed.
Apparently he thought that just because I’m moving to the second room, he can already take the bed with the better view. Ha, well I guess he better think again! I smirked widely at the maknae’s irritation.
“What? I’m exchanging places with Erin, aren’t I? It only makes sense that I use her bed, then,” Yoochun grinned, resuming his walking and dragging.
Changmin kept grumbling and muttering until Yoochun pulled him into the third room and shut the door behind them.
“So, you wanna just lounge about here, or head to bed, too?” Junsu asked me, while I was still looking all smug and grinning triumphantly at Changmin’s (and Yoochun's) closed door.
“Huh? Oh,” I said, distracted from my happiness that Changmin still can’t get away with things when it comes to his hyungs. “I guess head to bed, too? I’m not yet really sleepy, but it would be nice to lie down. Those beds are really comfortable,” I grinned.
“Yep, it’s really like lying down on clouds,” Junsu agreed.
Well, if we apparently already have clouds, and with you five gods here, then this place really is heaven on earth, then, I thought, smiling slightly.
“You know, you’re very lucky that Jaejoong’s already knocked out tonight,” Junsu told me, as he comfortably got in between his sheets.
“Why is that?” I asked confusedly, opting to just sit on my bed for a while. I pulled my knees to my chest and wrapped my arms around them, facing Junsu’s side and looking at him curiously.
“Well, Yoochun and I had just started sleeping when we heard you and Changmin arguing last night,” he began.
I grimaced at him apologetically.
Not that I was regretting shouting back at the maknae last night (it was his fault, after all), but I was still sorry that we disturbed Yoochun and Junsu.
Junsu just waved off my apology and continued, “Well, anyway, we hadn’t been able to sleep sooner than that because of them.”
He winced and thumbed to the wall separating our room from Yunho and Jaejoong’s beside him.
“What do you mean? They were arguing, too?”
Junsu snorted. “That would have been better.” Then, seeing my bewildered look, he explained further, “These walls are really lacking in thickness, and those two are never quiet when they… you know… get it on.”
This time it only took me a couple of seconds to understand what he meant, and I winced, too.
“Yeah,” he laughed a bit. Then, he glanced at me speculatively. “Though I suppose I should correct my earlier statement. Seeing as it’s you, I guess I should have said that it’s unlucky that Jaejoong’s already asleep, then.”
“What?” I gaped at him.
“You don’t want to get your first 'hands-on' real experience of how Yunho and Jaejoong really are in private?” he
