Chapter 27- I'm Sorry

Weeks had passed since your best friend Soo Min got to know that you are in a relationship with Bang Yongguk. You couldn’t express with words, how relieving it was. You had waited to tell her about it for months and you were glad you finally did. Soo Min supported you unlike Jae Joong, whom you haven’t heard of for weeks.

Soo Min had been so supportive for you and Yongguk. She would even help the two of you find places, where you could be in private. Your friendship to Soo Min just got stronger and Yongguk got along well with Soo Min.

It meant a lot to you that your best friend likes your boyfriend, because Soo Min is like your family. Yongguk also liked Soo Min, even when she teased the two of you.

It was a sunny day and you were home with Soo Min. The both of you were watching one of your favorite dramas together. Your boyfriend Yongguk said that he would come later at night, to hang out with you and Soo Min. You had planned to watch a movie and eat and you were excited.

Throughout the past weeks your relationship became stronger and you got to see each other more often. It really made you happy that Yongguk took some time off to see you, despite the fact that he has to work so much.

Now and then you would come to the practice room and visit the guys. You had also gotten closer to them more than before. They were all so happy that you were together with Yongguk. They knew it, because they had a feeling that the two of you liked each other. It was so obvious.

During the days, when you were tutoring them, Yongguk was often around you and even on the tour. Your best friend Soo Min noticed you space out, she threw a pillow at you and you exclaimed “Yah!”.

“What are you thinking so hard about?” she asked.

You couldn’t help but laugh, because she always caught you spacing out.

“I’m just really happy” you said with a wide smile and she made a face at you.

“Look at that big smile of yours” she giggled and you laughed once more.

“I’m glad you’re happy” Soo Min said and gave you a genuine smile.

“Yongguk loves you a lot and it is so obvious. He comes here as often as he can” she said and you nodded agreeing and Soo Min laughed.

The both of you continued watching the drama and it suddenly knocked on the front door. You froze and Soo Min gazed at you and you looked back at her.

“He’s not supposed to be here now” you referred to your boyfriend.

Soo Min pouted and looked confused “I haven’t invited anyone over” she said.

You finally got up from the couch and walked towards the door. You opened the door and took a step back surprised. The one person, whom you haven’t heard about for weeks, was standing in front of you and you didn’t know what to say.

Jae Joong was gazing at you. He was wearing black jeans, grey sweater and some sneakers.

“Hi ____ah” he said.

“Hi Jae, what are you doing here?” you asked him.

Jae Joong rubbed the back of his neck and looked into your eyes and you could see that something was wrong.

“I.. I came to say sorry” he said and paused “I overacted last time I saw you” he said.

You instantly closed your door behind you and took a step closer. Jae Joong looked really apologetic and he had a hard time facing you. You couldn’t help but feel sorry towards him. He confessed to you after all and you turned him down on the spot without a deeper explanation.

“It’s okay Jae Joong.. I understand why you got mad. You’re just hurt and you only wish me the best, just like I wish you the best” you said and pursed your lips together.

Jae Joong looked at you surprised, he didn’t expect you to forgive him that quick and he shook his head.

“I deserve to get scolded, but you accept my apology that quick” he said and you gazed at him confused.

“I really mean it ____ah.. I was rude towards you and it was wrong” he said and he sounded so mad at himself.

“Best friends understand and forgive each other” you said.
