Chapter 15- The Playground

Today was the day, you were supposed to give Yongguk private tutoring, to improve his English for their upcoming concert. The skies seemed a bit too gray, but you figured it wouldn't rain, so you wore thin clothes and left your umbrella at home.

You arrived in good time, a bit too early, because you were slightly nervous. While waiting for Yongguk outside the school, you saw some kids play near the elementary school, at the playground. You decided to play with the group of kids and to make time pass.

Yongguk came into the yard and saw you, and he is captivated by this nice view. The sun was shining through the thick gray clouds, though it was chilly outside a certain warmth flew through his body.

You were laughing and playing basketball with the young kids and running with them. Yongguk's attention was solemnly focused on you and he walked further and sat down on a bench. He kept smiling so brightly and decided not to disturb you.

You were running with the ball in your hands, when you saw that Yongguk had arrived. He had a certain smile on his face, which you had never seen on his handsome face before. You waved to him "come" but he chuckled and shook his head "no" you pursed your lips and played further with the kids.

Yongguk loved this view, it warmed his heart, in a place he hasn't felt before "She's so beautiful" he whispered..

You kept laughing and the kids were having a good time with you and at some moments you looked towards Yongguk. He seemed so calm and you suddenly felt butterflies in your stomach. You hadn't felt like that for a long time.

Just those small things made you so happy, you wanted him to join the game with you and the kids, hence you ran over to him. You weren't going to let him off so easily. There was still time for the tutoring to start.

“Yongguk-shi come on, play with us. The kids will love it. Hurry up” you said amused and happy.

You interrupted Yongguk's moment enjoying the view. He shook his head "no".

“You were having so much fun with the kids, go back and play with them” he said and smiled.

"Hyung, come play with us!!" The little boys yelled.

You and Yongguk started laughing together, unknowingly you took his hand into yours and guided him to the playground. You stopped up and still holding his hand.  He looked down at your hands and back at you smirking. You shyly let his go of his hand.

“let's play” he said.

He grabbed the ball quickly from one of the little boys and starts dribbling it. You stood there and watched at him, amazed by his skills. And all the kids went "oooooh", when he got the ball in the basket in a high jump.

You looked at him with an approved face as you clapped your hands. All the boys ran over to him, and started asking him for advice and how he knew those tricks.

“I used to play a lot of sports, when I was younger” he said and showed off his gummy smile proud.

You went over to him and stood in front of him.

“Maybe you can teach me some of those tricks” you asked whilst biting your lips.
