We waited 10 minutes for the others before we saw them walk over to us.

“What the hell am I seeing? How in the world did you get Kris to agree to do something today?” Lay asked me.

“Well, we made a deal with a game of basketball, which I beated him in.” I bragged.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Kris rolling his eyes. But everyone else laughed out loud.

“No... way.” Luhan said in between laughs.

“You beated Kris? Chincha?” Suho asked.

I nodded.

“Daebak.”

“You’re really something special, Aiden.”

“Can we change the topic?” Kris snapped.

“I almost forgot. I have donuts for everyone!” I announced in an attempt to change the topic.

“YAY!!” they all cheered like 8 year olds who found an ice cream truck.

I opened the box of donuts and every one of them grabbed on and began devouring it.

“What are we going to do now since it’s too late to throw a birthday party?” Baekhyun asked.

Kyungsoo putted his hand on his chin. “Hmm… how about we all watch a movie?”

“Yeah guys, let’s watch a movie! There’s this new horror film that just came out. We HAVE to watch it!” Sehun urged us.

“Are you talking about that scary movie trailer we saw yesterday?” Chanyeol asked.

“I heard it will make you piss your pants.”

Almost everyone agreed to watch the movie while I didn’t say anything. I honestly never watched finished a scary movie before because I absolutely hated them. My brother forced me to watch a scary movie once, but I ran out of room when a scary part came on. That gave me nightmares for 3 days straight. After that, I told myself to never watch another scary movie again.

“You guys can watch it. There are things I have to do...” I lied as I slowly walked away.

“STOP RIGHT THERE!”

“Are you chickening out right now, Aiden?”

“Fine, I WILL.” I declared, even though I knew I was going to regret it. The scared feeling was still and will forever be with me when it comes to scary movies.

After that, we went entered the theater right next to the mall. Wow, how convenient.

We paid for the tickets and snacks and walked into the theater. They haven’t even played the usual commercials before the movie yet, but my heart was beating incredibly fast from the fear.

We all sat in the empty back row that was now full since there was the 13 of us. The order of our seats were Kai, Sehun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kyungsoo, Baekhyun, Luhan, Xiumin, Chanyeol, Lay, Tao, Kris, me, and Suho.

The theater eventually became packed and the commercials started.

I took the large cup of popcorn and continually stuffed the popcorn in my mouth to distract me from my fear.
