(G-DRAGON'S P.O.V)

Tomorrow is New Years and the other members are already here in their hotel while i stayed at Jean's. Everything is going as planned.. i've already talked to Jason about the New Years performance and he agreed to help me. Jean doesnt like going to crowded places so Jason is gonna bring her to the front row where the VIP's are when it's time for Big Bang's peformance. I'll be singing a song dedicated to her. I wrote that song during my stay here in New York. After knowing the full story of Jean and Luke's relationship and what he did to her really pissed the hell out of me. It made me feel more protective of her and make sure she doesnt feel that way again. No girl deserves to be treated that way.. especially Jean. 

'Hey.. it's time for dinner' Jean said knocking on the door. 'Alrightt!' I got up and went downstairs with Jean to see her brother and dad already at the dining table. After dinner, i helped Jean wash the dishes as usual and i actuallJust then my phone started ringing. 'i'll be right back' I said and went upstairs to take the phone call. 'yeoboseyo?' I said anwering my phone.  'hyungg,we need you to come to the hotel tomorrow morning. Manager hyung wants to talk to us about the setlists and stuff.' Dae Sung said on the phone.  'what time?' I asked.  '9am. After that we can have breakfast together.It's been amost 2 week since we've seen each other.' Dae Sung on the other line. 'Alright,breakfast together then.I'll see you tomorrow morning!' I said and hung up. 'See who tomorrow morning?' I quickly turned around and saw Jean standing behind me. 'urm.. some friends.' I said smiling.  'friends.. i see. Alright then..' Jean said staring at me suspiciously. 'yeaah friends. I'll meet you and Jason at Times Square tomorrow alright?' I said. 'why can't we go together?' Jean asked.  'because..i dont know what time i'm coming back.. so its easier if i just meet you there' I said trying to sound convincing.  'hmm..okay. Well i'm done with the dishes and dad is already asleep so.. wanna watch a movie?' Jean asked.  'suree' I said putting my hands around her waist. We went to the living room and i picked out  The Hunger Games. I sat on the couch with Jean's head resting on my lap and my hands slowly caressing her arms. Slowly the both of us drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to my phone ringing. I quickly answered it before it wakes Jean up too. 'Hyung! It's already 9am and we're starving!' Seungri said loudly on the phone. I rolled my eyes eventhough he cant see me. 'you're always hungry. I'll be there in 20 minutes.' I said and hung up. I slowly got up and lay Jean back down slowly and kissed her cheek. I quickly went upstairs and had a quick bath and changed. I came downstairs and Jean was still asleep. thank god! I quickly unlock the door and went out. I took a cab to the hotel and gave Jason a short message through text. After paying the taxi driver,i went into their room and knocked on the door and Seungri opened the door. 'G-DRAGON!!' Seungri said loudly and hugged me tight. I chuckled and hugged back. 'I bet you missed me right?' Seungri said nudging my shoulder. 'nope.' I said casually and walked past Seungri. The other members started laughing and we were all happy to see each other again. After,bonding for almost an hour in the hotel room we all went out to the nearest restaurant and ate breakfast. After that,we met up with Manager hyung and discussed about the setlist and everything. It was already 12pm and i'm Jean is already awake so i send a quick message to her.  'Good afternoon sleeping beauty! I'm sorry i wasn't there for you to see my beautiful face when you wake up! kkkkkk <3 ' Straight away i got a text back from jean.  'hahaa! well good afternoon to you too 'beautiful' kkkk. Where are you?'  She asked. ' With some friends. I'll see you tonight!' I texted back. 'Okay,text me when you're there and don't get lost!' Jean texted back. After that,i put my phone back into my pocket.  'Ji yong! This song is amazing!' TOP said with the lyric sheet in his hands. 'Thanks.Do you think Jean would like it?' I asked.  'ofcourse! Aigoo Ji Yong...you're really in love with her. You two match so well.. i'm happy that you found someone' TOP said patting my shoulder.  'thank youu. I'm glad i found her too' I said smiling.

It's already 5pm and it's time to head to Times Square before the jam starts. We went backstage and our hairstylist starting doing our hair and make up artist doing our make-up. After that,we changed into the outfits that we picked out. We were the last act to sing so everything is going as planned. Big Bang onstage,Jean watching us,fireworks above us,couples kissing... it's all perfect. It's already 10pm and Jean must be wondering where the hell i am right now. I checked my phone and i had 11 missed calls and 4 texts. All from Jean. 'are you in Times Square right now?' I texted her. Straight away i got a text back. 'OFCOURSE. where the hell are you? Jason just ditched me to be with his friends.' Jean texted back.  'i'm.. with my friends. Just enjoy the performance first alright?' I texted back and put my phone away. She must be so pissed right now. I quickly send Jason a text telling him to bring Jean to the VIP section at 11pm. I'm really nervous for tonight... this would be the first time i'm dedicating a song to someone infront of a huge crowd. Hopefully everything goes well. We're gonna start off with Fantastic Baby,Bad Boy,Blue,Love Dust and High High. After that,it'll be my song for Jean. 10 minutes till showtime and i'm freaking out. I've been performing for years now but every single time i still get this nervous and excited feeling. I took a peek at the crowd and saw Jason dragging Jean to the front. She does not look happy at all.. 

Fantastic Baby started playing and all of us quickly ran onstage. And Jean was in total shock. She was staring at me with her eyes wide open and her hands covering . I winked at her and she playfully rolled her eyes. Now this is the reaction i was waiting to see. Her shocked face is always priceless and cute. 'NANANANANANANA! WOW FANTASTIC BABY!' The huge crowd sang along including Jean and Jason. Every once in a while i would take glances at Jean and she would not stop smiling. This was her first time seeing us perform together as one. It's been awhile since we've performed together onstage too so it felt good. Finally it was time to sing my song for Jean. Our guitarist sat beside me on stage while the other members walked off stage. 'Hello New York! How are you all doing tonight? good?' I asked through the golden mic Jean bought for me. It was the best Christmas present i've gotten this year. 'Alright! Well.. i want to dedicate this song to someone very special to me... you know who you are.' I said and looked at Jean and this time she was staring at me intently.  'I hope you guys like it' I said and smiled. I cleared my throat and took a deep breath in and starting singing.

The whole time i was staring at Jean and she had tears in her eyes. I smiled at Jean warmly and thanked the crowd. Everyone started counting down the seconds to 2013 and i quickly got off stage and ran to the crowd where Jean is. '6! 5! 4! 3!' everyone started counting down. I ran to the VIP section and just right now time. '1!'  'Happy New Years,love' I said and kissed Jean before she could say anything. I could hear the fireworks above us and everyone wishing everyone happy new years. It was perfect. I put my hands around her waist tightly and her hands were around my neck. I could feel so much passion and love in our kiss and i didnt want to stop.. but we're in a public place. I slowly pulled away and opened my eyes to met Jean's beautiful brown eyes. Her eyes looked like they were shining because of the tears. 'I.. love you' I said staring deep into her eyes. It took me a second to realize what i said. Is it too soon? I stared at Jean and she just kept staring at me. She wouldn't say it back.. it's too early. 'It's okay you dont - ' 'I love you too' She said and hugged me really tight. Did i just hear her right?! 'say it again!' I said cupping both of her shoulders so i could look at her. 'I LOVE YOU TOO!' Jean said loudly this time. I was smiling so wide that my cheeks started hurting. 'I gave her a quick peck on the cheek and hugged her tightly. 'HAPPY NEW YEAR!!' Seungri said loudly.  I turned around and saw the other members walking towards us smiling. 'Happy New Years!' Jean said smiling at them. 'Come backstage! The staffs are having a small party there' Dae Sung said.  'Alrightt,let's go' I said grabbing hold of Jean's hand. We were both walking slowly behind the other members when we were stopped by someone.  'Who's he!?' The guy said pointing at me while staring at Jean. I felt Jean's grip on me tighten. I was about to say something when Jean pushed my hand forward to tell me to just walk.I listened and put one of my arm around her waist and walked past the guy. 'hold up!' The guy said and held onto Jean's hand. 'Let go of her' I said sternly. 'you can't tell me what to do. Jean we need to talk.' The guy said trying to pull Jean away from me. I quickly got a hold of her other free hand. 'Look i said hands off!' I said and he let go of Jean and she quickly stood beside me. I held onto her hand tightly to calm her down.  'who the hell do you think you are!?' The guy said angrily. 'Her Boyfriend. who are you?' I asked curiously. 'I'm Luke.. her.. ex.' Luke said staring at the both of us intently. So this is Luke. God i feel like punching this guy till he bleeds! 'Jean never told me she was dating anyone' Luke said.  'Well she is get over it' I said and we continue walking when i felt him grab my shoulder. 'i'm not done yet!' Luke said. 'what the hell do you want!' I said angrily.  'your girlfriend' Luke said with a huge smirk plastered on his face. I was boiling with anger right now i feel like i could explode! 'what did you just say?' I said walking closer to Luke until we were about 4 inches apart. Before he could say anything i punched him as hard as i could and it felt good. Luke got up and literally jumped on me. We were now throwing punches at each other.. lets just say everything is very chaotic right now. I could hear Jean screaming at the both of us to stop but non of us listened. 'WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?' I heard someone say. Then i felt someone pushing me off Luke and turns out it was Jason. And i saw Dae Sung,Seungri and Tae Yang grabbing a hold of Luke and TOP standing next to Jean comforting her. 'If i let go of you now,would you stop throwing punches?' Jason asked. I sigh and nod my head and he slowly let go of me and went to Luke. 'THIS.. is not over' Luke said and walked the other way taking one last glance at me and Jean who was now next to me. 'I'll just meet you guys back at home alright?' Jason said and went the same direction Luke went.  'Are you okay?' Jean asked me with concern in her eyes. 'yeah i'm fine.. you? 'I said touching my bloody lip. 'i'm okay. C'mon let's get you home' She said and held onto me.  'Hyung,will you be okay?' Dae Sung asked me. 'yeah i'm fine.. don't worry. I'll see you guys tomorrow alright?' I said.  'yeah okay,get some rest' Dae Sung said and pat my back.  'Come,we'll drive you guys home on the way.' TOP said and we went into the car. The whole car ride was silent. But it was not awkward. Everyone was practically asleep except for me. I checked the time and it was already 2am. Finally we reached Jean's house and we said our goodbyes and went in. Once we went in her house i sat on the living room couch while Jean went and prepare some clean cotton and medicine for my bruise and cuts. I'm sure my ring did alot of cuts onto Luke's face. 'Stay still' Jean said and slowly clean my bloody lips and some small cuts near my eyebrows. Just then Jean started chuckling. 'what's wrong?' I asked confused.  'you beat Luke up and you got hurt too' Jean said smiling while cleaning my wounds.  'and that's funny to you?' I asked chuckling.  'Just a little bit. But thank you for beating him up. He deserved it' She said putting a plaster on my head.  'he definitely did! I'll be there for you no matter what,you're mine now' I said and smiled at Jean. 'and you're mine. A new year and a new beginning..together' Jean said and smiled at me. 'together' I said and kissed her cheek softly. We packed the things and went to her room and fell asleep in each others arms. I guess things didn't actually turned out as planned but it was still perfect. I could care less about Luke.
