It was English class, the last subject before dismissal time.

"Everybody, I'm gonna be assigning you a project which is held by pairs. You will do an english poem and you will recite it the day after tomorrow. So it would be better if you start your poem after class." Mr. Shin announced. Every student groaned. You and Jaira looked at each other and smiled, knowing that the two of you can be pairs until..

"I'll be the one to choose who your partner will be. Okay?" Mr. Shin added.

"I'll start off. Kim Yoomin and Moon Shinhye. Park Maeri and Shin Insu. Nam Jaira and Yoo Youngjae. Geum _____ and Jung Dae-" Mr.Shin was cutted off.

"NO." Daehyun said.

Mr. Shin looked at him,"What?"

Daehyun glared at Mr. Shin, "I said NO. Anyone but her."

You were shocked, you felt embarrassed. Your own high school until college crush, Jung Daehyun embarrassing you?! You felt your heart broke into million pieces.

Youngjae raised his hand, "Mr. Shin. I'll be happy to be _____'s partner."

"Good. So now it's Yoo Youngjae and Geum _____ and Nam Jaira and Jung Daehyun. Is that okay with you Daehyun?" Mr. Shin looked at Daehyun.

Mr. Shin nodded and went on pairing girls and boys for the poem project. Jaira looked at you mouthing a 'sorry'. You smiled weakly and mouthed 'it's okay. After Mr. Shin paired every girls and boys in class, he started to discuss the project.

It was the bell, signalling that it's dismissal time.

Youngjae smiled at you,"Hey it's okay."

You nodded and looked at Daehyun who wasn't looking at you,"Yeah. So is it my house or your house?"
