Hyomin ran home in tears and collapsed onto the floor the moment she stepped into the room.

She looked at all the photo frames which held pictures of either Joon with her or Jiyeon with her and them slowly one by one.

Then, in a burst of fury, she threw each one onto the ground, smashing the glass into pieces.

She fell to the floor, holding a picture of Lee Joon and her last Christmas.

She looked at the picture and wondered why she never thought of the fact that Lee Joon was not happy with her.

That’s when all the memories rushed into her mind.

Lee Joon never saying the words ‘I love you’ to her before…

All the signs started the show.

That’s when a bottle of pills tumbled onto the floor.

What are these? She thought.

Oh. Right…Jiyeon’s sleeping pills…Why are they here?

She looked at the broken glass on the floor and the bottle of pills in her hand and decided.

Jiyeon and Jieun who reached Hyomin’s house hesitated for a few moments before knocking on the door.

Even after several knocks and shouts, there seemed to be no movement in the house and Jisoo turned the door knob and the door actually opened.

“Hyomin ah?” Jieun called cautiously.

Jiyeon followed quietly behind her into the house.

The living room was empty except for a handbag on the sofa.

They walked slowly to Hyomin’s bedroom and opened the door.

The sight in front of them was broken glass everywhere on the floor with photos sprayed on the rug and Hyomin who was lying on the bed, eyes close, not moving.

That’s when Jiyeon spotted the bottle of pills which was now nearly empty, on the floor.

Jiyeon walked in slowly, careful to avoid the glass and picked the bottle up.

My sleeping pills? She thought.

It was supposed to be full…why is it empty no…

 Jiyeon jumped up and shouted to Jisoo, “Jieun ah! Hyomin just swallowed ¾ of these pills! Oh my god, we have to take her to the hospital now!”

Jiyeon called the ambulance while Jieun tried to wake Hyomin up.

As they were in the ambulance, Jiyeon called Lee Joon.

Lee Joon who was still loitering around in the park had also decided.

He was about to call Jiyeon when he received a call from her.

A smile formed on his face and he answered her call.

“Jiyeon ah! I have something to tell you!” he said brightly.

“Oppa, it can wait right? Hyomin just committed suicide and we’re on the way to XX hospital…” she said and hanged up.

Lee Joon closed his phone and cursed under his breath.

Just when he had made up his mind…

Just when he had finally decided to tell Jiyeon his true feelings… this had to happen.

He immediately ran towards the direction of the hospital which was not far from where he was.

The doctors were trying to pump the pills out from Hyomin’s stomach and Jiyeon and Jieun waited nervously outside the room.

“It’s all my fault…” Jiyeon mumbled and tears trickled down her cheeks.

“No, it’s not…” Jieun said and hugged her to comfort her.

Then, the doctor came out of the room and took off his mask.

“She’s out of danger now, but will have to stay in the hospital for a few days. You may go and see her now.” The doctor said and left.

“See? She’s fine…Don’t worry.” Jieun said and wiped off the tears on Jiyeon’s face.

At that moment, Lee Joon arrived, breathless.

“Is she okay?” he asked as he gasped for breath.

“Yeah…Let’s go in.” And Jieun led the way as she opened the door.
