Chapter 6

The woman couldn’t help it, the ridiculousness of the situation hit her full force and she just started giggling. It only made it worse when the other seven pairs of eyes swung to look at her as if she had lost her mind and she giggled even harder.

“Joe…joeson….joesonghapnida.” She managed to gasp out as she covered her face with a pillow to muffle her laughter. Ken by now was also letting out loud guffaw’s and leaned against Leo to help steady himself. N and Hongbin also had huge smiles and Ravi snickered to himself.

Leo as always seemed expressionless and Sanghyuk looked around at his hyungs puzzled.

The other girl just stared at them all, “Mel…Melody Unni?” She said hesitantly.

Weak laughter came from the pillow and an arm waved lightly. “Ne, I’m okay, come here Yhinny-Ah.”

Yhinny’s eyes widened as she carefully approached the bed careful not to touch any of the VIXX members.

“Apparently they found my cell phone and Leo..Leo-yah brought it back to me.” As the pillow lowered Melody’s face peeked at them bright red, from laughter or embarrassment none of them knew.

“I uh…I think I dropped it when I fell didn’t I?” She chewed her lip nervously and glanced at Leo quickly before lowering her eyes shyly.

Without a word he held out her phone and she reached for it. Like the last time their hands touched he felt a little jolt and he realized she must have felt it also because she raised her eyes and they stared at each other. Her eyes searched his and he felt like she could see his very heart and it surprised him.

The phone started to go off and he dropped his hand keeping his expression blank while inside he was reeling, stunned over the way he felt when they had looked at each other.

He didn’t notice N and Ken watching him thoughtfully and then looking at each other.

It wasn’t until Melody yelped went to jump from the bed and promptly fell on the floor because she had gotten her feet wrapped in the blanket that he moved. Reaching down he took hold of her elbow and helped her to her feet, nudging the blanket away as he did so.

“Gomawoyo.” She said breathlessly as they stood close to one another, his hand still on her elbow and her hand was on his shoulder to steady herself.

Yhinny watched the two of them together and knew she would hate herself for what she was about to do.

“Unni…the time.”

Melody snapped back to the present and stepped back from Leo. “Oh my god, we’re going to be late for the rehearsal!”

Tearing her eyes away from Leo she turned to N, “Mianhaeyo.” She said softly and bowed .

“Annyeonghee gyeesaeyo” she said as she hurriedly bowed to the members and grabbed Yhinny’s arm.
