Chapter 9

“Annyeong haseyo we are Triple T.” The three members held three fingers up from their left hands as they spoke before straightening them and putting their right over the top to form a T.

Melody couldn’t help herself. She clapped and cheered as loud as the fans in the crowd, she was so overcome with pride.

Her actions caused the members of VIXX to smile at her obvious excitement.

The smallest member of the group was Yhinny and she smiled as stepped forward and bowed. “Annyeong haseyo I am Yhinny, maknae and in charge of rap.” Her long black hair streaked with purple was up in a side ponytail and her bangs were also streaked and brushed to the side.

Ravi pushed Hongbin excitedly, “She’s the rapper in the group did you hear that?”

Hongbin shook his head exasperated.  “Yes I heard.”

As she stepped back an American girl with short blonde hair streaked with pink in two pigtails stepped forward. “Annyeong haseyo I am Summer and in charge of visuals.” She smiled and gave a quick show of Aegyo.

The tallest of the three who appeared to be of mixed race with shoulder black hair with white streaks bowed next, “Annyeong haseyo I am Trina and I’m in charge of vocals.”

The crowd cheered with excitement and Yhinny held her hand out to try to quiet them.

“I know you all are excited for our original song “How can I love him?” but before we perform we want to introduce you to someone very special. A lot of you might know her from the fan sites she runs but here she is in person. Melody Unni please come out here!”

Turning towards the left to face where Melody was standing off stage the three members clapped and waited for her to come out.

The members of VIXX all turned to see what she would do and Ken tried not to laugh at the expression on her face. Pure panic. Poor thing, even though he was trying not to laugh he did feel bad for her.

Leo started walking towards her when he saw her start to sway, concerned she may faint as she had at the hotel but his steps slowed as she slowly walked onto the stage amid the cheers from the crowd.

He kept walking until he reached where she had been standing so he had a close clear view of the stage and the others soon joined him.

Melody stopped next to Yhinny and said something quietly to her and Yhinny laughed before stepping a few feet away.

“I don’t know if you heard her or not but it seems I’m in big trouble later.” The crowd laughed and Melody smiled sheepishly.

“For those of you who do not know, Melody runs East Coast Starlight’s, and also East Coast Melody’s. She claims I co-run with her but….” Yhinny shrugged and grinned. “I do help sometimes and I know I’ve chatted with some of you out there!”

She paused for a moment to let the translator repeat what she had said and then seemed to gather her courage before she took a deep breath.

“As most of you know groups usually have everyone in charge of certain aspects. Now we introduced ours earlier but did any of you notice none of us said we were main vocal?”

Melody froze and shook her head at Yhinny, “Aniyo, don’t Yhin.”

N crossed his arms a thoughtful expression on his face.  Ken and Ravi frowned confused. Sanghyuk nodded, “I thought something had seemed wrong in their introductions.”

Leo and Hongbin stared at Yhinny wondering what it was she was about to say…
