Krystal’ POV

I feel my body ache as I wake up from a dream. It dreamed that Aiden is now in Korea. Every single day, I wish for it. Every time he’s on magazine, I secretly collected. I put my headphone in and listen to his voice from the song I made him record it. My tear escapes every time I hear his voice. I touch the key necklace and the ring. My manager keeps having problem with the necklace and the ring. He asked me to put away the ring. But I refuse to do so; I put it in the necklace too. I’ll keep it there, nearby my heart. 

 

 

After I finished brush my teeth, I come out and sit at the dining table wait for others. While waiting, I’m play with my phone. Flip over and over my picture with him, ‘I love you’ I murmur to myself. Suddenly I hear the door open.

“Girls, I’m home.” It’s Victoria unnie

“Unnie” I call out

Sulli and Luna rush out.

“Unnie, we’re hungry” they said in union

“Hey, Aiden Liu’s interview on the newspaper again” she squeals, yes girls are all over about him. Except Sulli and Luna, they know the truth. Luna quickly borrows it from Vic while she prepares the breakfast. She hands it to me first. Oh god, his picture. He looks so hot in navy suit with gray ties; arms crossed and lean again the table. I try my best to not cry. The title named Who is the mystery girl?. I quickly glance at Sulli and Luna. Both of them look at me with wide eyes.

 “Mr. Liu, Is there or was there anyone has capture your heart? The CEO made a quick pause to think and looked up. His eyes fill with hurt. ‘There was and there is; that person is always there’ He answers coolly. As I continued with the question ‘Who is the lucky girl?’- ‘She is someone that has the key to my heart’ our CEO answers as he touch his chest; under his white linear shirt hidden a lock. After that he refused to answer any question relate to the girl. Is our richest and powerful man on earth has taken by some mystery girl? ‘Who is the mystery girl?’ will be the question of the year until we find out who has that key. ” I’m starting to read out loud. Victoria unnie drops something in the kitchen that startles all of us. She rushes out from there and grabs the newspaper back, and re-read the whole thing out loud again and again.

Can it be that he was talking about me? Sulli and Luna still stare at me with wide eyes.

“The key…” Luna whispers

I take out the key from hidden underneath my T-shirt.

“Who is that girl?” Vic frowns.

“He’s taken?”

“I will kill that if she’s the one hurting him” she continues

“UNNIE” Sulli and Luna said in union again. But I don’t care, it’s true that I was the one hurt him. I still rub my finger against the key.

“Sorry, sorry. I didn’t mean to curse at you guys”

“Krystal, are you okay?” She comes and sits next to me

“That you were talking about is…ME” I look up from the key

“Haha…You’re really fun to play with” unnie laughs so hard that she’s even falling off the chair

She pauses for moment then stares at me and others.

“Wait...wait…wait, something is wrong” she frowns again

“Yes…what Krystal said earlier is true” Sulli carefully explains

“What?”

“You mean… The Aiden Liu right?” she adds

“Yes… I was almost had him for myself for the rest of my live; and adding his last name along with my name, too” I slowly answer and show her the ring on my necklace.

She’s examining it closely. Her eyes widen. And then we begin to tell her the whole story. Recall the memory that I had with him always make me cry. It keeps pour out. I continue to show her our private picture such as when he slept, when you kiss, when we laugh. She can’t believe in her eyes. I show her the recorder of Aiden’s sing voice and from the bear we had together. But he didn’t bring it with him so I just keep by my side every night.

“I’m sorry” she finally said after been amuse by all the evidence.

“So right, but please don’t tell anyone. Tiffany won’t be happy about it. She wanted to keep her brother’s identity”

“What? She is his sister” …I curse to myself

“Yes, you know her full name is Tiffany L. Hwang, the L stands for Liu. Her family adopted Aiden since he was very young.” I continue but more careful this time.

“Would you mind tell me how you two met?” she shifts.

I recall our memory again………………

 

_________________________Flashback (Krystal’ POV)______________________________

Today is Jessica’s 15^th birthday. Our family is really excited. We invited everybody come to celebrate. My mom is preparing the meat in the kitchen and my dad is starting up with the grill. I help my sister dressing up. She looks like a princess. I envy.

We step down the stairs. My dad is holding up the camera and keeping take picture of us. Suddenly, we hear the doorbell.

“Krys, can you get the door for me?” my sister asks and shows me her puppy’s eyes. I mean it’s her birthday.

“Okay…” I roll my eyes and my parents laugh

I run to the door, and when I open the door. The figure makes me trembling, butterflies start to dancing around my stomach. My heart beat really fast that I have trouble breathing.

“Miss? Is this Jessica Jung’s house?” OMG, his voice

“Y…yes…” I stutter.

“Hello” a girl behind him pops up and waves at me  

“Hello.” I waves back, but still been amuse by his beautiful. He flashes his shyly and cute smile.

“Tiffany…Aiden” Jessica’s voice wakes me up from daydreaming on him.

The girl runs in and hugs Jessica. They laugh and scream the whole house out. The guy still looks at me as I look at him.

“That’s my sister. My name is Aiden Liu. Nice to meet you” he said

“Oh…I’m Krystal Jung, the birthday girl’s sister”

He then laughs, he finds that funny.

“I’m sorry, I think you’re cute.” He said.

He just called me cute. I want to jump around the house and scream on top of lung of happiness.

“Krystal, why do you still standing there? Let my friend in” Jessica’s voice wakes me again.

“I’m sorry” I shyly said to him, but he just smiles. I love his smile. It’s so adorable and dorky.

“Let me take that for you” I hold out my hand for the cake on his hand

“So okay, let me do it, it’s heavy” he smiles again. I think I’m about dying with happy every time he smiles his boyish-smile.

All night, he sits and talks with me, because most are Jessica’s friend and adults. They bored the heck about of me. He’s funny. We then move out to the pool and deep our feet into. He pulls me closer so it’ll be much warmer for me. His warmness is no joke. He’s so caution.

“You two seem to have too much fun out here huh?” my dad’s voice. Aiden quickly stands up and offer his hand to me. I feel secure immediately in the hand.

“Dad” I feel my face is getting hotter

“Don’t worry, this young man seem so fine” he looks at him.

“Thank you sir. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Aiden Liu. Nice to meet you. Sorry for my rudeness” He bows his head

“The Liu?” My dad looks at him

“Pardon, sir?” He answer

“Nothing…Nice to meet you…its look like my daughter likes you. She’s all shy around you” he turns his attention to me. It’s so embarrass.

“I like her, hope you don’t mind if I can ask her out tomorrow.”

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Sure, please be nice to her” he offers his hand

Aiden takes it.

“Of course, I’ll take a good care of her. Please trust me.” He’s so mature

“I should leave you two back to your little cozy date again”

“DAD”

He chuckles next to me. I shyly look away.

“Ahh… I should have asked your permission too. Would you like to go out with me tomorrow?” He asks

“Why do you ask now? I thought you already have my dad’s permission” I playfully angry at him as I turn away

“Princess, please pardon me with my suddenly action. I just think I should have grabbed the opportunity when it’s available.” He bows his head again

He called me, PRICESSS.

“Oh my prince, I shall punish you for your action” I act along with him

“You should, my princess. Shall I have you on my back and carry you around the pool? Would that make you happier?”

Before I can say anything else, he’s already on one knee.

“Krystal, come on in, I’m about to blow the candle” Jessica calls as he stands up immediately. She grins at me

“I’ll be right there” I called out. She then leaves

“Oh…princess, Should I take my punishment tomorrow?” He said

“Yes” I shyly run away from him. Before I come inside, I turn about blow him a kiss.

 

 

Everybody had left. He and his sleepy sister are the last to go. We’re all standing at the door.

“Good bye Mr. and Mrs. Jung, thank you for your invitation. It’s such a great night for us.” He said as he has no struggle having his sister on his back.

“Sorry for my sister’s sleepiness. She should have paid you more proper good bye” he adds

“Don’t worry. Have a good night” My dad said

“I’ll pick-up Krystal tomorrow. Around 5 PM, would that be okay for you?” He asked

“Sure”

“Good bye” He said

 

We back to the house.

“Honey, his figure is so familiar.” My mom whispers

“The Liu” my dad whispers back and my mom grasps.

Krystal’ POV (continue)

My story is getting interrupt by a phone call. Vic stands up and answers it.

“Yes?”

“Okay, we’ll be there” She then hangs up

“What’s wrong, unnie” Sulli asks

“Uh…our manger said that we have a practice for the concert in Seoul. He’s waiting downstairs.”

We quickly run for changing.

“Krystal, you have to continue that story tonight” Vic said before we leave the house.

 

 

 

 

We finished our practice. I think our sweat cover the floor. It’s so tired. We all sit down on the floor and drink water like there will be no more water tomorrow.

“You guys can leave now.” Our manger said

We’re so tired that we just want to go home. I stand up first then Sulli, Luna and Vic. We drag our sweaty body out of the practice room.

Surprisingly, I see a rose and 4 bottles of cold water. On the rose, there’s a note said ‘KRYSTAL J.’
