Aiden’ POV
While we’re talking, I notice Tiffany puts on her best fake smile. She’s still not approving about this, but I know that she supports my decision as best as she can. I smile back at her. Katrina and Taylor are standing at the door, with other two guards .At the same time, the doctor friend comes in with his bright smile.
“Dr. Liu” he calls
I stand up.
“Dr. Jason?” I offer him a hand shake
“I have Krystal Jung’s fully report, I think I should give it to you” He hands me a file.
“According to the report, her health weak because she haven’t eat well for at least 3 days, lacking of sleep, overworking.” He continues translate the chart into the modern English so everybody can understand while I’m reading the dry and boring data.
“Dr. Liu…what is your decision?” He then turns to me
“2 IV bottles”
I hand back to him the file.
“Dr. Liu is the brightest student in Harvard. He knows what is doing” he’s praising me while I stare at Krystal, who is giving the puppy eyes.
“From now on, please send me all the report of the Jung family to me, it’ll need my approval to do anything” I said while still look at Krystal.
“Yes. I think I will you guys be right now…If you need anything, please let me know, Dr. Liu” he pats on my back
I’m still look at her with my burning eyes. What is she think? At least 3 days? She wants to die? I’m really pissing at how irresponsible she is. I feel my body heating up from anger while I’m clenching my fish.
“Katrina… go and get Ms. Jung a light chicken soup. I want it to be here within 30 minutes” My eyes never leave her
“Aiden…Please say something, you’re scare me.” Krystal said
“Why did you eat?” I finally calm myself and ask
“I…I did eat” she stutters
“Please don’t lie to me, I know what I was reading” I look and look at her
“I’m sorry” she apologizes
“Next time, for the sake of god, please eat…if you faint, it can lead to more serious problem.” I growl.
Suddenly, everybody chuckles. Then I feel a tug at my shirt. It’s Krystal.
“Can you…uh… k… kiss me to reinsure that I am still in your heart?” she whispers.
Krystal’ POV
After I ask, I feel more nervous then everybody present in the room. The room is so quiet that my heart stops beating. I think I’m moving too fast. I start to regret. Afraid of what may happen, I turn my head away. Sudden, I feel his lips on my temple. He kisses my temple. I don’t care where he kisses the moment, all I want to know that I’m still present somewhere in his heart.
“You’re always there” he whispers to my ear and send shiver down my spine before stands up straight. I pout. Then we laugh. He looks at me with his most gentle smile. His smile warms my heart. While enjoying the moment, I see his assistance is standing at the door. Her present makes me feel unpleasant. Aiden seems to be notice my disorder face. He leans down closer to my face, so close that we can only feel each other breathing.
“She’s here” I whisper
His face still closer to mine but he turns aside to her direction. Now, I’m seeing his side face. It’s most handsome face ever. I’m trying to reach up to kiss his cheek but suddenly he turns back. Our lips meet for the first time after 5 years long. His eyes widen at the surprise contract. This is what I want for so long, so to show him I process to close my eyes. His lips are starting to move. I’m nibbling his bottom lip. The moan comes without any of us notice. I want to reach up to caress his dearest face but the IV line is in the way. He bites my bottom lips to ask for better access. I open my mouth wider. Then…
“YAH…Don’t take advantage of our patient.” Jessica’s voice breaks the moment
We both open our eyes at sane time. Our eyes fill with lust and disappointed. I bite my bottom lip, and he takes a sharp inhale. He stands straight up
“Sir…the soup is here” Katrina said
“Thank you” he takes it from her.
Aiden begins to unpack the box. It’s smell good. I’m hungry for food, his love, and . He slowly stirs the soup. It’s still steaming. One at the time, he feeds me.
“Take it slow” he gently said.
“Should I get sick every day?” I said
He frowns and I see he begins to get angry.
“Okay…Okay…Jeez…I just want you to take care of me” I roll my eyes at him
“Aiden, can I go home?” I ask as we finish the last spoon
“You want to go home?” he asked
“Yes…I hate the hospital’s smell” I put on the disgusting face
He smiles.
“I’ll talk to Dr. Jason”
Then he leaves with the bag.
“You look happy, and he is, too” Tiffany comes up to me.
“I’m happy. Tiffany, I promise I will fix my mistake” I hold her hand
“Keep that promise” then she smiles
My dad wheels his wheel-chair next to my bed.
“He’s still love you” he assures
“Yes…daddy…I love him, too. It’s worth to wait.” I said
Aiden walks in with a nurse beside him. He smiles at me. The nurse comes in and replaces another IV for me. It’s hurt. Then Dr. Jason reappears. He hands another file of paper. Aiden reads quickly and sign it.
“What is it?” I ask
“Discharging paper” Dr. Jason smiles
“Aiden, let we pay for it” my mom said
“No, it’s so okay” he said then hands back the file to Dr. Jason.
“Thank you…let go out for drink sometime” He hands shake with the doctor
“Sure. Krystal Jung, you’re now free to leave”
Aiden has Katrina to pack my stuff. She looks angry at me. But I keep my words from telling Aiden how her attitude toward me.
There are a lot of photographers waiting for Aiden outside. To prevent from scandal, Aiden lets me in the car first then it goes and returns to pick up him with Jessica, Tiffany. My mom stays in the hospital with dad. Since no one is currently at my house, so Jessica and Tiffany help me talk with Aiden to let me stay at his new penthouse. At first he keeps saying at he will drop me off at my dorm. It makes me sad. I wonder if he has forgiven me. I need to work harder to make it up for him. For many years dating him, I don’t know that he has a fragile heart. During our separation time, I had read about his family’s story. It was such heart-breaking news.
We arrive at the apartment. Jessica and Tiffany excuse themselves first to get some clothes and to tell their member where they will stay for the night. There are Aiden, me, both of his assistances and his guard. They come along with to make sure that we’re safe. Aiden stands straight with his hand in his pocket. I stay behind him. My hand itchy to touch him but I know it needs sometime for Aiden to get use to me. The elevator slides open, and the securities go to hold on to the door. His assistances come out next and they each stand opposite. Aiden stands a side and let me go first. His shy smile makes me flutter. Suddenly an older woman runs out from kitchen, Aiden surprises to see her. He gives her a hug.
“Mrs. Jones…” he happily calls her
“Oh…Aiden” she pulls him out to examine him
I look puzzle step back behind him.
“You come and help me?” he said
“Of course, what else can I do?” she smiles and then she sees me, she stops and frown.
“You look like the girl in Aiden’s pocket” she continues
“Is it her?” she turns to Aiden, who put on straight face
“Y…yes” he answers
“Oh my god, she looks beautiful” she pushes Aiden away and comes to hug me. It’s a tight hug so it’s kind a hurt.
“Mrs. Jones, she’s sick” Aiden said
“Oops, I’m so sorry. You’re Krystal Jung?” she apologizes
“Yes”
Mrs. Jones then led me and Aiden upstairs to the room. His assistances keep following us, it’s make me feel uncomfortable. When we arrive at the first room, Mrs. Jones opens the door for us.
“You’re going to sleep here. Mrs. Jones would you mind go get for her something to wear in Tiffany’s room? She might has some pajama in there” Aiden said
It’s strange that none of his assistance dare to come into the room. This room must bigger then my dorm. The view looks stun from the glasses. The room isn’t fully decorate but there are king size bed, flat 55’ TV, wooden desk, make-up desk, and the bathroom as big as my room at my door. Mrs. Jones is back with the clothes. At same time we hear Jessica and Tiffany voice ego around the apartment. They must have extra keys.
“Hey…” we all turn to see Tiffany, who just greeting.
“Fany, I borrow some of your clothes for Krystal. Hope you don’t mind” Aiden said
“Sure”
All of us surprise at Tiffany reaction. She hates it when anyone touch her things especially her clothes.
“So…sleep tight” Aiden said
“You’re not sleeping here with me?” I surprise
“No…I’ll sleep in my room” He said
“Can I sleep in your room with you?” I ask and put on the puppy eyes
Everybody stops breathing.
“No” short and its hurt
“Why?”
“No, uh…just No” he shouts at me then leave the room. Leaving all of us wide eyes and strange atmosphere, my eyes are following him. I see Katrina smirk at me.
Then suddenly, my tears form.
Jessica decides to stay with me. She keeps on comforting me. While she’s taking a shower in the bathroom, I go downstairs to fetch myself some water. Mrs. Jones smiles at me as I arrive to the breakfast bar.
“What can I get for you, dear?” she gently asks
“I just need some water, I can get it myself” I said
“Don’t worry, sit down, I will get you some” I uncomfortably in at the stool.
She hands me the glass.
“He’s a stubborn man, isn’t he?” she states.
