[Taeyeon's point of view]

I wasn't quite sure, if I really wanted to take those steps towards that door. I wasn't quite sure, if I was ready to say goodbye. I wasn't quite sure, if I was able to put my guilt down for being so stubborn. I wasn't quite sure, if I could see my best friend close her eyes and never to open them again.

I wasn't quite sure, if I was ready to not hear the girl's voice again. I wasn't quite sure, if I could still live life without bickering with her, like what I had been doing since so many years back. I wasn't quite sure, if I regretted making her upset over the silliest reasons.

Taeyeon: What... {09:15 KST}
Tiffany: MR MR {09:15 KST}
Taeyeon: Bye {09:16 KST}

Taeyeon: I'm sleeping. {09:17 KST}
Tiffany: Wanna go get lunch? {09:17 KST}
Taeyeon: You come over. {09:18 KST}
Tiffany: To your house? What no. {09:18 KST}
Taeyeon: Then don't. {09:19 KST}

Ring ring. I sighed as Tiffany's picture showed up on the caller alert. Almost reluctantly, I picked it up.

"Why... What's the matter..."

"Ya Taeyeon ah why are you talking like this?"

"I told you I'm sleeping."

"It's 9am. Why are you still sleeping?"

"Because I don't have a schedule now? What's the matter?"

"Do you want to go have lunch?"

"I already told you to come over."

"I already said no!"

"Then don't!"

"Ya!"

"This is meaningless. I'm hanging up."

"Ya Kim Taeyeon. Do you wanna die?"

"I'm really sleepy! Call back in an hour. No wait. Make it two."

"Kim Taeyeon you get up right now."

"For what?!"

"Let's go out."

"I really want some time at home to rest..."

"I miss you."

"You just saw me yesterday. And you will be seeing me tonight."

"Fine. Bye."

"What? I-"

I didn't even get to finish my words and the line went dead. Even though I was getting really annoyed by both the lack of sleep and the best friend who was being all sensitive early in the morning, I called back.

"What?" Her voice. Hostile. Totally hostile.

"What what? Why are you being sensitive early in the morning?"

"Why am I sensitive? I just wanted to have lunch together."

"And I just wanted to sleep."

"Then go ahead. Who's stopping you now? Bye."

"Don't you dare hang up on me again."

"What else can I do other than hanging up if I've nothing more to say?"

(In the background,

Sunny: Ya...who are you yelling at early in the morning...
Tiffany: Nothing. Go back to sleep.
Sunny: Taeyeonie?
Tiffany: Tsk.)

I could faintly hear her walking, probably away from Sunny.

"Well, she's right. Who do you think you're yelling at early in the morning?"

"My best friend was giving me attitude early in the morning. What do you think?"

"Sica chooses sleep over any one of us at any time and I don't see you flaring up at her. I'm just getting it because I'm your best friend isn't it?"

"Oh, so you know that you're my best friend?"

"Cut it out Fany. I surrender. Where do you want to go?"

"I don't want to go anywhere any more."

"You said it yourself. Bye then."

"Ya Kim Taeyeon! Just...that Japanese restaurant..." I chuckled slightly at her response.

"I got it. I will go and pick you up later. Stop being an early in the morning."

"You're treating."

"I'm not your boyfriend."

"But you are my best friend."

"So what?"

"So you have no choice."

"Well I do, I'm not turning up later."

"Kim Taeyeon. You ARE treating."

"N, o, no."

"Y, e, s, yes."
