Just a friend, huh?

*Taeng’s POV

I am kind of happy to be with Jessica in unintentional way.

I know I made a promise that I will avoid Jessica.

But I never plan this so I think they will mind it.

The staff asked us to be comfortable with each other.

Since we look absolutely awkward with each other, I think they noticed it.

I decided to break the silence.

“You never told me you have a boyfriend.” I said with slightly frustration in my voice.

“Well, you never asked.” She said with this icy effect.

She’s really cold towards me.

“You should have told so I shouldn’t let myself to think that I have a chance to be with you.” I said with not so loud voice but I make sure she would hear it.

“Whatever.” she said.

I really like this Sica effect she’s showing to me. It’s kind of y, you know.

Then, the photographer was ready.

The photo shoot ended pretty well.

I was glad I and Jessica were able to talk since she’s avoiding me since that day.

We ended up pretty late.

Jessica seems worried.

I walked through her and asked.

“What’s wrong Sica?”

“None of your business” she said.

“I was trying to help here so just tell me” I said and smile to her.

“Okay, my phone is run out of battery and I can’t call my driver to pick me up. Happy now?” she said.

“So if you will let me, can I borrow your phone for awhile?” she asked.

“I got it, here you go” I asked.

But when I looked on my phone, it seems it is out of battery too.

“Omo! My phone is out of battery too.” I said.

“If you want, I can give you a ride from here to your house.” I offered.

“Never mind, I will just take a taxi. I have a promised to give importance.” she said.

“I think Yul wouldn’t mind it since it’s for your safety. Would you rather go alone with the taxi? You never know what will happen.” I explained.

“OK, fine. Just for now. Come on.” She said.

“Let’s go”. I said.

We hopped on my new car Porsche Boxster.

She directs me when and where to go left and right.

I really love her voice.

After a while, we reached her house.

It was simply beautiful.

Their guard opens the entrance gate.

I let her go out of my car so did I.

A maid opened their door and I saw a girl. She must be Jessica’s sister.

“Oh, unnie you’re here finally.” She said and then looks at me.

“Unnie, are you cheating with Yul oppa with this handsome guy?” she asked.

“Shut up Krys, he’s just my friend and he’s also Yul’s best friend.” Jessica explained.

“That’s good then, I like him”. Krystal whispered to Jessica but somehow I heard it.

Unlike Jessica her sister is more active and friendly.

Then I saw her father, he wasn’t new to me since her father and mine are business partners.

“Taeng, I heard you give Jessica a lift here. I want to thank you” he said.

“With pleasure, sir.” I said.

“Why not join us in dinner?” her mother said.

“My sincere apology madam but I need to go. My father wants me to go home now”. I said.
