Chapter 7
What Happens in Seoul[Korean dialogue will be displayed in red]
~Natalie’s POV~
The next morning I woke up, and not surprisingly I was hugging onto the pillow beside me. Fortunately, more days than not, I wasn't even aware of the nightmare that occurred during my sleep. That day my dad had the first day of his big presentation with his company and FT Island had said they were going to be busy for the whole day, so I spent it with my mom. We went to the hotel's spa, and it was incredibly relaxing. By the time we left, I no longer felt jet lagged at all and was instead refreshed and energized. We spent the rest of the day shopping in Myeongdong, then went to a Japanese sushi bar for dinner. I hadn't really had sushi before, but it was awesome.
After we got back to the hotel, I told my mom that I would be going out with some other people that night.
"Look at you, you're sounding like you've already made close friends, like you've lived here for ages," she said with a grin.
I shrugged. "Right time, right place, I guess."
"Well, just don't be out too late. I'll probably be asleep by the time you get back though; we've had such a busy day. So I'll see you in the morning."
I nodded and bid farewell to my mom for the rest of the night as I headed back to my hotel room to get ready. Seunghyun had told me that they would pick me up, so I had already told him my hotel room number. A little while later, I heard a knock at the door. I opened it, and smiled as I saw Seunghyun standing on the other side.
"Ready to go?" Seunghyun asked cheerfully.
"Yep," I answered, quickly putting on my shoes. We stepped into the elevator, and I pressed the button for the ground floor. Outside, Seunghyun lead me over to where a shiny silver car was parked.
"Nice car," I said to him.
He chuckled. "Thank you, but it's Jaejin's, actually. He just let me borrow it."
"Where are we going, anyways?" I asked.
"I doubt an address would really help you, but it's in Seoul, not too far from here," Seunghyun answered with a grin.
