~Hongki's POV~

Before I knew it, the time of the concert was drawing near. FT Island was just running through a few stage placements while large crowds of Primadonnas had already gathered outside of the venue. I didn't want to outright admit it, but I was a bit relieved that I wouldn't be able to see Natalie until after the concert concluded.

Loud chants could be heard from the fans awaiting the beginning performance as we prepared ourselves backstage.

"Alright guys, huddle 'round," Jonghun called out, and Minhwan, Jaejin, and I joined our hands in the center of a circle.

"Wait," I said, noticing only four hands. I noticed Seunghyun nearby and called out to him, "Seunghyun-ah."

"What?" Seunghyun replied, glancing at me with an icy look. I was a bit taken back. Did Seunghyun always look at me like that? How had I not noticed his hostility?...

"C-come on," I re-gathered my thoughts, gesturing for Seunghyun to join us.

Jonghun noticed the coldness between us as Seunghyun walked over, but continued anyways. "Hana, dul, set..."

"HWAITING!" we all cheered as we pumped our hands.

Seunghyun sent one last dismal look in my direction before quickly putting on a cheerful facade as he walked out towards the stage with the others.

After the concert ended, Natalie waited in the corridor that led to the backstage area. The door opened, and Natalie smiled widely as she saw Hongki come out. She walked up to him, still grinning.

"That show was amazing! You were really good," she said, poking him playfully.
