Chapter 34
What Happens in Seoul~Third Person POV~
Once Natalie made it back to her hotel room, she was just so emotionally drained that she decided to simply go to sleep, even though it wasn't quite night time yet. Her tears had all dried up at this point, and she sobbed silently until she fell asleep. It wasn't until a few hours later that she finally woke up again to the darkness of night as a quiet rumble began to creep out from the sky. Her eyes shot open at the distinguishable sound, and she looked out the window, only to see that the rainfall was still continuous and the wind had picked up a great deal.
Before the storm had time to get louder, Natalie rummaged through her belongings looking for her iPod so that the music would drown out the sound of the thunder. Slightly brought back to reality by the sound of a familiar voice, Natalie walked shakily over to the door, but her mind barely registered the fact that Seunghyun was really standing there. Seunghyun looked at her face, and felt that something was wrong. He stepped into the hotel room, watching Natalie carefully as he closed the door behind him.
"What are you doing here so late?" she asked, her mind finally catching up with the situation.
"I couldn't just sit around and do nothing. You left without even letting me explain, and you haven't been answering your phone. I swear, I never told Hongki to break up with you." His words came out rushed, all in a single breath.
She frowned, crossing her arms. "Then why did he say that to you? Obviously, that makes me think it had
