What Happens in Seoul~Third Person POV~
When he returned, Seunghyun looked over and noticed that Natalie was asleep, curled up in a ball against the side of the couch. He smiled, chuckling to himself quietly. He picked her up and carried her over to the bed, placing her down gently and pulling the blankets over her. He hesitated, then gently brushed her hair away from her face, looking at her for a moment with a sigh.
What had this girl's heart gone through today? Pain, fear, betrayal... That day, Seunghyun had seen something that he had hoped to never see from Natalie, something that truly pained him – he had seen her cry. And yet, even after all that, he had seen her smile, he had seen her laugh. Like she was able to put all the pain behind her, her heart was able to find happiness in even the simplest of things.
Seunghyun glanced at the necklace around Natalie's neck. The pale blue topaz heart sparkled slightly, even in the dim light of the hotel room. Natalie was much like her topaz pendant. On the outside, she looked pretty and delicate, but truly she was strong – much stronger than you would think upon first glance. Just like the precious stone, she could be battered, but not easily broken. Even after harsh wear and tear, even in darkness where things seemed bleak, she still shone brightly.
Settling himself on the other side of the bed, Seunghyun, too, drifted into slumber.
