~Third Person POV~

When Natalie woke up, she remembered that Seunghyun had stayed over that night, and immediately noticed that he was gone. Hopping out of bed, she walked around the corner and saw that Seunghyun was in the kitchen, cooking something. She breathed in the delicious smell, and walked over to him.

"What are you cooking?" she asked, but then froze as she noticed something.

"French toast, I hope you like it. I figured you're probably sick of Korean food by now. The weather's cleared up, so I went out to get more food this morning," Seunghyun replied with a smile, but then paused as he noticed that Natalie was staring at something. He glanced around him quickly, wondering what it could be, and then also froze as he realized his sleeves were still rolled up. He slowly looked up at Natalie and attempted to hide his arm, but she had already seen; the damage was done. She walked over to him and grabbed his wrist, holding it up accusingly.

"What the hell is this?" she asked in disbelief.

Seunghyun followed her gaze to his wrist, where his barely-healed scars were clearly visible. Natalie stared hard into his eyes, waiting for a response, but he couldn't give one. What was he supposed to say?

"No... Seunghyun, please... Don't tell me you cut yourself," she said quietly, slowly shaking her head. "Why? Why would you do that?"

He yanked his arm out of her grip, pulling down his sleeves. "I've got to get back to my dorm... The guys are probably wondering where I am," he said, brushing past her stiffly. "Please enjoy your breakfast," he said, bowing slightly to her before leaving.

"Seunghyun," Natalie called out, but he shut the door behind him as he left. She stood there for a moment, confused. Seunghyun wasn't like that...was he?

After a few minutes, Natalie finally sat down to eat breakfast as she thought about what just happened. She looked at the plate of French toast that Seunghyun had prepared; it had a little smiley face of syrup in the middle. She ate breakfast in silence, and as she slowly chewed, she began to cry. Why would Seunghyun do that to himself?

Deciding that she couldn't eat anymore, she got changed and left her hotel. She went straight to the FT Island dorm, hoping Seunghyun would be home. When she knocked on the door, Hongki answered. They both stared at each other for a moment, and she almost forgot what she had come here for in the first place.

"Natalie...what are you–"

"Is Seunghyun here?
