Chapter 1
What Happens in Seoul~Natalie's POV~
It was a long drive to the JFK International Airport to catch our ten o'clock flight that morning. As I stepped out of the car, I gingerly stretched out my stiff joints as my dad began pulling our luggage out of the trunk.
"Here's your plane ticket. If we get separated, just get some help and find this plane. It'll be in terminal four," my mom said, pointing to some numbers on the ticket that I wasn't quite sure the meaning of.
I grabbed my luggage bag and followed my parents into the busy airport. The place was huge! Were all airports that big? I'd never even been on a plane before though, so maybe I was just exaggerating. Stepping into the tightly packed currents of moving people was like entering a beehive, everybody swarming about in an indiscernible rush. Though seemingly quite a challenge for a girl of my small stature, I was able to fight my way through the crowd in my attempts to not get separated from my parents. When it was finally time to board the plane, I was pleased to find that our seats were next to a window. It is here that I took my place for the next fourteen hours with a wonderful view of America slipping away beneath the clouds, followed by the ocean, more ocean, and...then some more ocean. Somewhere along these many hours, I drifted off into sleep, my music playing away on shuffle...
