What is wrong with me?

How did I do something stupid?

Even if she’s fierce,

Hitting a girl in the face is unforgiveable.

Ahh what am I going to do?

“Donghae-ssi?” a voice said. It was Siwon. “Are you going to eat?”

I nodded.

And suddenly..

The door opened.

Revealing her petite figure.

Im Yoona.

She’s frowning.

“Ah Yoona!”

“Wha..”

Siwon smiled at Yoona. “Yoona-ssi, do you want to have lunch with us?” he took a step forward. “Yuri will come over too, right Donghae?”

I trembled.

The fact that Yuri is there too, do scare me at all.

How much more if I’m with Yoona?

Damn.

“Yeah. There’s room for you.”

And suddenly..

Yuri showed up from my side.

“Come on Yoona. Donghae says he wants to apologize.” She elbowed my rib. “Right Donghae?”

Yoona smiled. “Great.”

I thought that everything was fine.

But..

She glared at me.

“We don’t need four desks to be our table.” Siwon began, catching our attention. “2 desk can be shared by the four of us.” He cleared his throat. “Therefore. 2 people will share a desk.”

Two people?

That means..

“I’ll sit here.” Said Yuri, racing to the seat closest to me.

“Then I’ll eat here.” Announced Siwon, sitting on the othere desk.

I want to sit with Yuri..

Then Yoona would sit next to Siwon.

This is better than what we planned.

“Ah Yoona.” Called Yuri. “Sit here. Beside me.”

No.

How can we miss the chance?

“Yoona.” I whispered. “Sit next to him.”

And she sat next to him.

Isn’t it a little obvious?

“You’re such an active girl Yoona.” Muttered Siwon, tossing a bread to Yoona. “Want some?”

She blushed.

“What do we have today? Yuri said to herself, opening her lunch box. “Ah some fried chicken wings!”

Siwon giggled. “Yuri, such an energetic being.”

Phew.

Good thing these two didn’t notice.

“You’re too stiff.” Siwon mumbled as he brushed Yoona’s hair behind her ear.

Duh.

I can understand her.

Sitting next to someone she likes.

I would probably stiff also.

“Wow. You had a lunch.” Siwon said to her. “Did your mother made it or did you?”

All color drained from Yoona’s face.

“Umm..”

Eating together all of the sudden.

I feel so stiff.

“Me.” I said eventually.

“You made her lunch?” Siwon gave me a quizzing look.

I nodded.

They will probably misunderstand.

Since I made her lunch.

What am I going to do?

I should just escape.

“Siwon-ssi!” a voice from the door.

Siwon looked at the source and saw the student council President Tiffany on the doorstep.

“Eh?”

“We have an emergency meeting.” She said in a low stern voice. “You and Yuri are needed.”

Both Yuri and Siwon stood. “A meeting. Guess we shall leave.”

Yuri smiled at us. “See you around guys.”

And they left.

“Okay they.”  I said, panting. “They’re gone.”

“Why?” she muttered, sinking into the table. “My life .”

“We’ll eat together tomorrow.” I assured her.

“Tomorrow!” she exclaimed, making the other students flinched. “Are you going to hit my face again tomorrow?”

“Who said I am going to do that?”

She ate her lunch and left me.

This girl.

Such an idiot.

THE NEXT DAY:

Lunch break, the best times.

After failing twice.

This is today’s last chance.

“Are you ready Yoona?”

SHE DID NOT ANSWER.

Just staring at me like a fool.

“Yoona get a grip!” I said, shaking her to conciousness. “If this goes well, I am sure, everything will be fine.” Then I noticed she twitched her fingers. “Hey are you okay?”

“I’m nervous.” She muttered through her spangled nails.

I gave her the lunch box. “Boys are happy when you give them handmake cookies.” I put my forefinger under my chin. “Anyway, Siwon likes sweets. I don’t think he’ll dislike you.”

“Really?”

Handmate biscuits from Home Economic class.

The plan is to give them to Siwon.

While making it, many bad things happen.

Like oven in too much temperature.

Or too much flour.

Or water.

In her hands..

Only four pieces came out okay.

“Listen. Don’t be so nervous. Be as natural as you can.” I said. “Remember, Siwon is so busy after school. So if you won’t catch right now, you won’t get a second chance.”

“I got it!”

Then the door opened.

“Everyone back to your seats. Class is starting!”

Our teacher walked towards her table, which is on the middle of the room.

“Oh it smells cookies.” She said. “Did you guys had a laboratory assesment on home economics. Well, evn though I looked like this, I’m good at baking cookies.”

This teacher of ours is our English teacher.

I don’t really know why only few Koreans speak English where all Korean schools were teaching it.

“So nostaiglic.” She continued. “I still remember when I was studying abroad eating with my roommates.”

Yoona gritted her teeth.

“Ms Im. Don’t make that kind of noise in front of us.”

Even though I understand how Yoona feels, Teacher Taehee is just doing her best.

A lot of students despises her.

She’s so annoying, in their opinion.

“Teacher.” Siwon said as he raised his hand. “I’m pulling out. A lot of work in the student council.”

“Very well Mr. Choi. Go off then.”

No.

If Siwon leaves.

Then Yoona would never had a chance.

“Yoona?”

Yoona stood, trying to follow Siwon.

But Siwon had already ran away.

Perhaps, afraid of being late?

“Hurry up and stop him!”

So both of us ran away.

Without our teacher’s consent.

Ah.

Damn it.

Such a failure.

How can I not care?

After all, both of us were going to be benefited once this mission is accomplished.

We are running through the corridors, not realzing I am holding her hand all along.

And as we came to the stairs..

We spotted him.

“There he is!” I said as I ran towards him.

But it’s too late, he already entered the office.

“Bastard.” I muttered.

We were still in the stairs.

And suddenly.

“Wait!”

“Yoo-Yoona!”

Crap!!

No!!

She slipped.

“No!”

I caught her hand.

And both of us fell from the flight of stairs.

She landed in my body painfully.

She muttered a few words.

“Ah.. I’m safe?”

Then she looked at me.

“Donghae?”

And surprisingly..

She embraced me..

AUTHORS NOTE: I GOT THIS INSPIRATION FROM OUR HOME ECONOMICS CLASS. LAWL. ANYWAY., THE SCENE WHERE SIWON TAKES YOONA AT THE NURSE'S OFFICE AT THE CLINIC IS ENCRYPTED. AFTER ALL THIS IS DONGHAE'S P.O.V NOT YOONA. SO IN SHORT, WHAT DONGHAE KNOWS WILL ONLY FLOW IN THE STORY. WE CAN'T ACCESS THE OTHER CHARACTERS P.O.V UNDER THE FACT THAT THIS IS FOCUS MAINLY ON DONGHAE'S LIFE. ANYWAY, I THINK, I WOULD MAKE YOONA QUITE WORRIED FOR DONGHAE IN THE NEXT CHAPTER.
