Story so far :)

I’m gonna break down the characters because…even I’ve already gotten confused.

MeiXing Choi

Age: 18 but in respects to sal** she is 19. (Her birthday is a few days away, at least where the story is now.)

Race: Mother is Taiwanese and father is Korean on his father’s side and White on his mother’s. [His mother lived in Korea for such a long time as a girl (because her father was stationed at Osan) that she considers herself Korean.]

Residence: California (which is where her parents met)

Random: although her name is MeiXing she was convinced in the beginning that her name was Chohee. For some strange reason she is in South Korea. Because of an incident when she first arrived, she now has amnesia and has no idea why she is in Seoul. With her family living in Osan, she’s sure that she can’t be in Seoul to see them. One thing that she does know is that it wasn’t her idea to leave California because she would have never left so close to her birthday.

Kibum Kim

Age: 19; 20 sal

Race: Korean

Residence: Seoul, South Korea

Random: He is Key from SHINee, but has yet to tell MeiXing. Reason why is possibly two answers: one, in the beginning he wasn’t sure if she would become fake after realizing that he was a member of a famous boy band, two, now he believes that her feeling for him may turn into anger for lying to her.

These are the only two characters I’ve really had so far. I’ve introduced Onew and Taemin as well as a major character, but so far he hasn’t really been worth mentioning. Anyways, new chapter will be up in the next few days and I hope this helped if there was any confusion. When the story progresses I'll post another breakdown just to explain.

*sal is (at least to my knowledge..I’m not Korean I’m Chinese) a unit used in Korea to count years of age. It is based on the Chinese/Lunar calendar and is the basis to which honorifics are determined.
