It was raining cats and dogs in Korea,
Seoul that night.
That fateful night when Yuri had said all those hurtful things to Jessica after hearing a one-sided single story.
A one-single story that werent even real.

Jessica was hurt so deeply.
She ran and ran in the ran,
tears trickling down her face like a river flowing downstream.

Jessica's POV

I know i shouldnt even have been such a weakling.
Crying my hearts out over the words said by Yuri.
I loved her.
I really do.

But Yuri,
can you explain it to me?
Why didnt you even let me explain myself?
You can easily believe your EX-girlfriend but what about me..?

So am i not as important as her?
I guess i am, right?

Hours later,
Jessica walked or literally dragged herself back into her mansion drenched.

"Ohmy"
"Sweetie!" exclaimed Mrs Jung worriedly as she quickly went over to Jessica.
"What happened?!"

Jessica looked up with teary eyes.

"Omma.."

"Dont cry sweetie"
"Omma's here" cooed Mrs Jung as she pulled Jessica into her warm motherly embrace.

Mr Jung was standing by the side,
throwing Mrs Jung a worried look.

"Come on sweetie"
"Go and get a change of clothes and head straight to bed alright?"
"Tell omma about it when you wake up"
"All you need now is a good rest" said Mrs Jung as she guided Jessica up to her room and settled her in.

After Jessica had fallen asleep,
Mrs Jung sighed slightly as she pulled the covers over her daughter before heading to the living room to look for Mr Jung.

"Dear?"

"Oh, you're here?"
"Has Sooyeon fallen asleep?"

"Yeah, she cried herself to sleep" replied Mrs Jung with a sigh as she sat down onto the couch beside Mr Jung.
"I cant figure out what is wrong.."

"Actually i think i can.."

Mrs Jung turned to Mr Jung immediately with a questioning look.

"Tell me" demanded Mrs Jung coldly.

"The only reason could make her cry this badly is definitely Yuri"
"Dear, cant you see?"
"There is definitely something wrong with her and Yuri"

Mrs Jung frowned.

"What is wrong..?"
"I thought Yuri loved her..?"

Mr Jung shook his head sadly.

"I went back to the realm this morning remember?"
"Appa had trackers around the two bloodsuckers"
"It turns out that the two bloodsuckers had found Yuri and Taeyeon up"
"So basically, you should get the link"
"Right?"

Mrs Jung twitched her eyebrows and sighed.

"I guess so" said Mrs Jung with a sad nod.
"Our Sooyeon.."

"Its okay dear"
"We're still here for her at least" said Mr Jung comfortingly with a smile.

"You're right.."
"We have to be here for her"

"We will be"
"Anyway, appa's looking for Sooyeon"
"Gotta bring her back when she's awake"

"Okay"

After spending the whole night with Hwangyoung,
Taeyeon had returned back to the castle.
To be precise, her bedroom.
Walking into her bedroom full of smiles,
Taeyeon gasped at the sight of Tiffany who was dozing off at the study table of hers.
Tiffany's head was nodding away.

Taeyeon's POV

Ohmy.
I've totally forgotten about Tiffany!
And i've just agreed to getting back with Hwangyoung so readily..

Taeyeon sighed at the trouble she was going to have.
But watching the tired Tiffany, Taeyeon couldnt bear to wake her up.
Instead, Taeyeon just quietly carried her up and laid her nicely on the bed.

"Im sorry babydolls" whispered Taeyeon as she landed a peck on Tiffany's forehead before leaving the room.

Before she left the room,
Taeyeon went over to the study table and scribbled a letter down.
While scribbling,
Taeyeon overheard Tiffany's sleeptalk.

"Mmm.."
"I love.. you.."
"Kim Taeyeon.."
"Love.."

"Mianeh babydolls"
"I love you"
"But i love Hwangyoung too.." whispered Taeyeon as she put the letter beside the bed and left the room.

Hours later,
as the sun rose and shone into Taeyeon's bedroom,
Tiffany slowly stirred from her sleep.
Opening her eyes, Tiffany was puzzled.

"Wasnt i at the study table waiting for Taetae..?" muttered Tiffany as she glanced around the room.

A piece of envelop lying on the side table of the bed caught her attention.
Picking it up with a bad feeling inside her,
Tiffany opened up the letter.

Babydolls,

Guess this is the last time im calling you this.
Yes, i know im being such a jerk or .
But we're breaking up.

To be honest,
i've went to meet Hwangyoung last night.
She didnt exactly died.
She came back for me.
I love her Tiffany.

Im sorry to have you be reading this even though i should have at least told you in person.
I know you're mad at me now.
I know, its alright its all my fault.

Once again,
im sorry Tiffany.

Tears were streaming down Tiffany's face.
It was yet another heartache for another person on the same day.

"You're kidding me right Taetae?" mumbled Tiffany tearily as she picked up her phone and started tapping on it panickly,
putting it to her ears but the caller ID was unavailable.

Unable to reach Taeyeon,
Tiffany immediately ran out of the room and barged into Yoona & Sunny's.
The two latter were startled by Tiffany's sudden appearance.

"Whats wrong Tiff?" asked Sunny with a puzzled expression.

"Yup, whats wrong Tiffany?"
"Do you need any help?"

Tiffany's lips quivered in fear.

"Where is.. Taeyeon..?"

Yoona and Sunny threw each other a confused look before turning back to Tiffany,
giving her a shrug.

"Whats wrong?" asked Sunny concernly as she went over and pulled Tiffany to the bed and sat down.

Tiffany's body trembled as she dropped the piece of letter onto the floor.
Thanks to their agility, Yoona picked it up in a flash and read it.

Yoona's eyes widened in shock as dropped open.
Sunny watched Yoona's expression and grabbed the letter immediately.
Before Yoona could utter a word,
Sunny read and crushed the paper into a ball.

"Tiff, its not worth grieving over someone like her"
"There will definitely be someone better than Taeyeon"
"Stop crying alright?" hushed Sunny concernly.

But deep inside Sunny,
she was burning with anger.
How could Taeyeon whom she thought was the most loving to Tiffany had done things like that to her.
How could Taeyeon..

Tiffany however didnt stop crying.
Even that, she stood up and turned for the door.
Tiffany looked so dead.

"Tiff, where are you going?!" called Sunny but Tiffany ignored it.

Sunny then turned to Yoona with a worried expression.

"Look at what Taeyeon had done to Tiffany"
"I thought you said she was the most faithful one could ever ask for?"
"What is this now Yoon?"

Yoona looked hurt.

"I did say that.."
"But why are you blaming me now..?"
"I know Tiffany's hurt but it isnt my fault right..?"

"Hey?" interrupted another voice.

"Yuri?" called the two as they turned to the source of the voice.

"Why are you here?"

"What are the two of you quarreling about?"
"And Tiffany, whats wrong with her?"
"I kept on calling her but she didnt even turned her head to look at me"

"Taeyeon left her" said Sunny bluntly.

Yuri's eyes widened in shock.

"WHAT?!"
"Why?!"

Yoona picked up the crushed letter and tossed it to Yuri.
Yuri read and her eyes grew even wider.

"Hwangyoung's back too?"

"What do you mean by 'too'?" questioned Yoona confused.

"Yeonjung's back too Yoon"
"They love us and they came back for us Yoon" replied Yuri bluntly,
face naturally forming a wide smile.

"Dont tell me..?"

"What you're thinking is right Yoon"
"But Jessica deserves it"
"Yeonjung has the ability of showing us her memories"
"The stuff she has seen and she shown me what Jessica has done"
"Her leukemia, her love for me as well as the promise she made to protect us"
"All these werent real Yoon"
"I couldnt believe how much she had lied to me!" exasperated Yuri in disbelief.

Yoona gasped.

"Its not like this!''
"All these isnt true Yuri!"
"That whoever Yeonjung is"
"She is a liar!"
"Sica loves you Yuri!"
"Why are you like this now?!" screamed Sunny in tears.
"Why are you all hurting my best friend like this now?!"
"We shouldnt even have stepped into here in the first place!"
"We should have just given up and left this place!"

Yoona pulled Sunny into a warm hug.

"Shh.."
"Cutie, dont cry"
"Im here" comforted Yoona warmly as she carressed Sunny's back while waving for Yuri to go away.

Yuri sighed and left the room.
Comforting Sunny for an hour or so,
Yoona had finally gotten Sunny calmed down.

"Cutie, look"
"I dont have any past to be threatened of"
"Im not Yuri nor Taeyeon"
"I wont hurt you"
"I dont want you to regret being here"
"It hurts me cutie.." said Yoona sadly.

Sunny looked away.

"Sorry" muttered Sunny softly.

Yoona took her hands and brought Sunny's head to face her.

"Look cutie"
"You're the most precious person i've ever found"
"If Yul and Tae unnie is really in the wrong"
"Rest assure that i'll be standing on your side"

Sunny looked up,
eyes lit up,
looking hopeful.

"Really?"

"Yup, but for now"
"We'll keep a low profile and investigate everything alright?"
"We'll stand by the side and watch quietly first"
"Dont do anything rashly without me okay?"
"I sense a huge storm coming up"

Sunny smiled slightly and nodded.
Throwing Yoona a hug, Sunny whispered.

"I love you Yoon"

Yoona smiled.

"I love you too"

"Hey sweetie"
"Are you sure you're fine?"
"I mean, you look really.." said Mrs Jung with a sigh as they were walking towards the great hall of the realm.

Jessica stopped and turned to Mrs Jung with a weak smile.

"Dont worry omma"
"Im fine, alright?"
"Angels dont fall sick, do they?"

Mrs Jung nodded.

"They dont"
"But there are also cases they do although it is very rare sweetie"
"And there are also cases whereby they fall sick to immortal illness and i can assure you that its horrible"

Mr Jung nodded in agreement as he gave Jessica's hands a light squeeze.

"I wont"
"Im healthy, alright?" assured Jessica with a weak smile before continuing towards the great hall.

Upon reaching the great hall, Jessica was welcomed warmly by the King and Queen with a great hug.

"Welcome, my dear"
"We missed you"

Jessica rolled her eyes.

"How are you feeling now?"
"Better?" asked the Queen concernly.

"If not?"
"I wouldnt be here standing right?" replied Jessica impatiently.
"What do you want?"

The King and Queen frowned slightly at Jessica's rudeness but nevertheless,
kept quiet about it.

"Honey, the 2 bloodsuckers are on the move"
"They are back with their old lovers"
"Do you know?"

Jessica's heart cringed and ached.

"I know" muttered Jessica coldly.

"I've sent a team of bloodsuckers eliminators down to try get rid of them"
"Although i know its impossible"
"So if you could, probably to aid them?"

"Aid them?"
"You want me to kill them immediately?"

"Of course if possible"
"They are harming the innocents"
"Even their old lovers honey"
"Even though their old lovers are of their kinds"
"They are harming them because they want power"

Jessica's eyes filled with rage.

"Im gonna repeat this once more!"
"YURI! KIM YURI IS NOT A BLOODSUCKER!"
"YOU GET ME?!" exploded Jessica angrily.

The King and Queen gasped.

"Honey, they are not someone to be trifled with"
"They might be hiding their real identity from you"
"Dont be deceived!"

"I chose to believe!" rebutted Jessica quickly.

"I see" sighed the King and Queen sadly.
"Nevertheless, get going"
"At least, get rid of the two bloodsuckers first"

Jessica turned and walked off,
following behind were her parents running after her.

Back outside her mansion,
Jessica was walking in a hurry because she was mad with her grandparents.

"Sooyeon/sweetie!" called her parents as they ran after Jessica.

Jessica finally stopped and turned behind.

"Omma, appa"
"Stop speaking up for them"

"We werent going to do that"
"We were just worried about you"

"Yup sweetie"
"But next time, probably you might wanna show a little"
"Just that little respect to them you know"
"They are a little mad at you" said Mrs Jung with an awkward smile.

"I'll think about it" replied Jessica flatly as she turned to walk again.

But as she was approaching their mansion,
she saw a familiar figure sitting outside the mansion,
hugging onto her knees.
Running towards the figure, Jessica gasped.

"Ohmygod"
"Tiff!" exclaimed Jessica as she pulled Tiffany up into a hug.
"What has gotten into you!"
"Why do you look so awful?!"

Tiffany looked weak.

"I dont know.."
"I dont know Jessi.."
"Can i stay with you.. for now..?"
"I dont feel my body anymore.."
"Taeyeon left me.."

Jessica silently cussed inside her.
She was blaming herself if she had taken Yeonjung and Hwangyoung down earlier,
she should be able to prevent the pain from happening to Tiffany.

"Come on Tiff"
"I'll bring you into my house to rest"
"You look awful" said Jessica while Mr and Mrs Jung opened the gates for them.

"Jessi.."
"I..-"

Jessica felt a heavy weight on her.

"Tiff!" shouted Jessica worriedly as she swiftly carried Tiffany into the mansion,
straight back to her bedroom.

Laying Tiffany onto the bed nicely, Jessica turned to her parents.

"Omma, appa"
"What is wrong with Tiff?"
"I thought immortals are have immortality and cant get sick or anything?"
"Why did Tiff faint?"

Mr and Mrs Jung frowned.

"We've to read a little up on the medical books of the immortals"
"And, Tiffany might not be fully immortal because shes been changed and not born"
"It is possible that the change got backfired"

"What do you mean by backfired?"

"To put it simply"
"It failed"

"However, it could also be like Tiffany's body is an immortal now"
"But it only meant that she has the agility, speed and strength"
"Not the immune system and the extreme recovery speed sweetie"
"She can live for however long yet she still faces the sickness and illness of the human" explained Mrs Jung with a frown.

"Sooyeon, dont worry about Tiffany"
"We'll take care of her"

Jessica shook her head firmly.

"I'll be here for her when she wakes up"
"Appa, can you help me locate the team haraborji has ordered to not do anything before im there?"
"I've to talk to Tiffany before anything happens"

Mr Jung nodded and went out of the room.

"I'll go cook something light for Tiffany" volunteered Mrs Jung as she too,
exited the room after Mr Jung.
"Sweetie, dont worry"
"Im sure Tiffany's change didnt backfired"
"Its just that she still has the body of a human with only the immortality, speed, agility and strength" added Mrs Jung with a smile as she exited the room.

Right after Mr and Mrs Jung exited the room,
Jessica sighed softly as she carressed her best friend's hands.

"Tiff, im sorry that you have to go through the pain i've went through"
"I wished it had happened only to me.." muttered Jessica sadly.

45 minutes later,
Tiffany began to stir from her sleep.
She slowly opened her eyes,
scanned the surrounding before sitting straight up from the bed.

"You're awake Tiff?" asked Jessica concernly as she waved infront of Tiffany's eyes.

Tiffany turned to Jessica in tears.

"Jessi.."

"Shh.."
"Dont cry Tiff"

"Taeyeon.."
"She left me.."
"For her ex-lover.."

"Shh.."
"I know Tiff.. I know.."

Tiffany paused.

"How did you know..?"

Jessica's face saddened.

"Yuri too" replied Jessica bluntly.

"Then why do you look so fine?"

Jessica's POV

Thats because im burying it inside my heart silly.
How can i afford to show people im not when they are so many things for me to do.
How can i afford to show it out when my parents will be worried for me?

End of Jessica's POV

"Well, thats a secret" lied Jessica with a forced smile.
"Do you feel unwell?"

Tiffany thought for a second.

"Dizzy"

Jessica put her hands over Tiffany's forehead.

"Hmm.."
"You dont have a temperature"
"But, i want you to stay in bed and rest alright Tiff?"

"I wont get sick Jessi"
"Im an immortal"

Jessica sighed.

"There are some things Taeyeon didnt tell you i guess"
"Appa and omma told me.."
"They said because you're changed and not born"
"There are chances that the change backfired or that the change didnt make a full change"
"So you're under the second outcome"
"Your change arent full"
"You hold the extreme agility, speed, strength and immortality but not the speed of recovering as well as a special immune system to not get sick"
"To put it simply, you can still get colds etc Tiff"
"I dont want you to get sick because of Taeyeon"
"Rest now alright?"

"Oh.."
"Jessi, can you accompany me..?"
"Im scared.."

Jessica looked confused.

"Scared?"

Tiffany nodded.

"Of what..?"

"Im just scared Jessi"
"Please?"

Jessica sighed and nodded.

"Jessi, please dont leave me when im asleep"
"Please" begged Tiffany sadly.

"I wont"

"Thanks Jessi.." whispered Tiffany as she closed her eyes,
hands holding onto Jessica's tightly.

Tiffany's POV

Im sorry Jessi..
Im afraid..
I woke up to being all alone..
Im not used to it anymore..

You're my best friend.
I dont want to wake up with you by my side,
and the next moment,
you're missing without a proper good bye Jessi..

End of Tiffany's POV

Jessica sighed silently at her broken best friend.
This was the first time,
first time she had seen Tiffany this scared.

Jessica understood how Tiffany felt.
Nothing beats more than the fear of losing someone that meant so much to her in a single night.
But Jessica has something else to attend to.
Being left without a choice, Jessica slowly and carefully got up from her seat and left the room.

Down at the living room,
Jessica called Mrs Jung.

"Omma"
"Can you do me a favour?"

Mrs Jung smiled.

"Of course"
"Anything for you as long as its not something dangerous for you"

"Can you please stay in the room with Tiffany till she wakes up?"
"I think shes been traumatised after losing someone she loved in a night omma"
"I've somewhere to go"

"Where are you going?"
"Im going to look for the team thats getting rid of Yeonjung and Hwangyoung"

Mrs Jung frowned.

"Its dangerous sweetie"

"Omma, they wont hurt me"
"Trust me"

Just then, Mr Jung came walking down the stairs towards Mrs Jung and Jessica.

"How is Tiffany?"

"I think shes fine"
"Just some over exhaustion" replied Jessica.
"Appa, so where is the team now?"

"Oh, i've just contacted them"
"And they've agreed to wait for you"
"They are currently at XXX watching over the two"

"Okay appa"
"Thanks a lot"
"I'll get going now"
"Please be safe and keep Tiff safe too"
"I'll be back soon" said Jessica as she quickly left the mansion.

Travelling down to the venue that Mr Jung had told her,
Jessica had easily spotted the team.
It was obvious because it was the people that had always been sent to Jessica.

"Donghae"
"Whats the plan now?" asked Jessica coldly as she walked over to the person nearest to her.

Donghae pointed to the 4 who was having fun along the street of Korea.
The night market, they were having so much fun with the games at the game stall.
Jessica's heart further shattered.
Holding onto her tears, Jessica spoke.

"So?"

"Our best bet now is that the 4 of them will definitely be going to this cafe later"
"We had checked and they had booked the cafe down"
"So it will be real quiet and we had our men in the cafe as well"
"If there are no mishaps, everything would go well"

Jessica thought for a few second.

"Donghae, can i have your word that you do not kill any of them?"
"Just have the two captured and leave Yuri and Taeyeon alone?"

Donghae frowned.

"I think this is a hard task for you"
"But i will take the full responsibility if anything were to crop up"
"They are really important to me"
"I cant afford for them to get hurt"

Donghae thought for awhile before nodding his head.

"But, if i sense any danger for you Princess Sooyeon"
"I'll break my promise"

Jessica smiled slightly.

"Thanks"
"I'll be safe"

After watching for hours,
the 4 had finally gotten into the cafe with smiles plastered on their face.
It was the time for their plan to start.

Jessica was stationed at the kitchen of the cafe,
while the rest acted as waiters in the cafe.
As everything was going smoothly,
Donghae and Siwon who was serving the 4 their drinks,
suddenly fished out a dagger and placed it over Hwangyoung and Yeonjung's neck.

Hwangyoung smirked.

"So, you're here"
"I've been expecting you"

Donghae and Siwon's eyes widened.

"How dumb could you angels get?"
"Fancy calling yourselves knights" replied Hwangyoung as she swiftly got away from Donghae and Siwon,
with Yuri and Taeyeon behind them.

To play the full part as their lovers,
Hwangyoung and Yeonjung pushed their lovers behind them and readied themselves in a fighting position,
awaiting the commence of the battle.

"Yul, look"
"This is your Jessica's doing"
"I told you"
"Can you believe?" said Yeonjung with her eyes fixed on Donghae and Siwon.

The rest of the team were around Donghae and Siwon,
prepared to fight.

Yuri kept quiet.
Her mind was in a mess.
Before she could utter a word,
the fight began.

Taeyeon and Yuri were frozen to the spot.
As promised, Donghae and Siwon,
as well as the team didnt touched or tried to attack Yuri or Taeyeon.

While fighting,
Hwangyoung knew that it was a meaningless battle because they would definitely lose.
Judging at the numbers against us.
So in return to her fast thinking,
she plotted something inside her mind.

While fighting,
she managed to whispered it parts by parts to Yeonjung as they fight and got passed each other.
With a nod, Yeonjung smirked.
She dashed towards Donghae and his sword pierced through her abdomen.

Donghae's sword was a special one.
Or should i say, everyone in the team's.
Because they were ordered to eliminate immortals.
Of course, of course the sword must be something special.

Yeonjung's face immediately turned into a pained one.
 
At that point of time,
everything stopped.
Jessica thought everything was done so she walked out of the kitchen but was shocked at what happened.

Yuri fell to her knees as she crawled over to Yeonjung in tears.

"Yeonjung.."
"Dont leave me.."

"..."

Yuri turned up with teary eyes.
But it was filled with anger.

"YOU!"
"It was all your fault!"
"You wanted to revenge me isnt it?!"
"YOU WANTED TO BECAUSE YOU COULDNT HAVE ME!"
"SO YOU WANTED TO GET RID OF HER!"
"ISNT IT?!" exploded Yuri in tears.

Jessica couldnt believe her eyes as she turned to Donghae.
Donghae shook his head.

"I didnt" replied Jessica flatly.

"Then make me believe you!"

"What do you want me to do now..?"
"So that you'll believe me Yul..?"

"Stop calling me as if we were close to each other!"
"We're no longer close nor related!" boomed Yuri angrily.
"I want you to save her!"

"How?"

"Your blood" smirked Yuri.
"Your angel's blood"
"Royalties' blood"

Donghae and Siwon,
as well as the team gasped.
Jessica was shocked.

"Dont"
"Princess Sooyeon"
"You cant"
"Its dangerous"
"Moreover, shes a bloodsucker" whispered Donghae worriedly.

Jessica thought over it for a few seconds.

"Fine, if thats what you want for me to prove that it wasnt my intention"
"I'll do it" said Jessica coldly as she approached Yeonjung and Yuri.

Sliting her wrist with a knife,
Jessica lifted her wrist and put it over Yeonjung's lips.

Hwangyoung smirked.
