Later part of the day,
It was evening time and everyone was gathered in Jessica's room.
Alright, to be exact it was just Mr, Mrs Jung and of course, Yuri.
They were all seated around Jessica's bed, watching the latter sleep.

Just then, TaeNy walked into the room,
with a mysterious looking box in their hands.

"Whats that?" asked Yuri suddenly.

TaeNy shrugged as she placed the box on Jessica's table that was placed at the end of her bed.

"We dont know too Yul" said Taeyeon with a confused look.
"Tiffany found it at our castle doorstep when we were about to leave for the hospital"

"I couldnt open up the box"
"There wasnt any specific lock on it" added Tiffany with a frown.
"But this box looks really special and its like an antique"

Mr and Mrs Jung silently gasped inside them.
They knew what it was.
They never thought it would happen again.

Yuri picked up the box,
and underneath the box,
there were some ancient looking engravings on it.

If you want to save her,
make her open this box.
Its the only way.
Her lifespan is less than a year.

Place her hands on the cover of the box.
If only her hand fits the print, will it open the box.
As long as the box opens, she will be the owner of the box.

Yuri re-read the engravings,
again and again before turning to TaeNy.

"What is this?"

"I really dont know"
"But the saving part, i think its referring to Jessi" said Tiffany with a shrug.
"Maybe we should give it a try"

"Are you serious?!" exclaimed Yuri in disbelief.
"We dont even know what on earth is in this box!"
"What if it kills her?!"

"But the box says something about saving her Yul"
"What if its true?"
"Then Jessica wont have to go through all these" argued Taeyeon firmly.

Mr and Mrs Jung stood up and sighed softly.

"I think, if you three allow"
"Can you three give us, family a private time?" said Mr Jung with a weak smile.

TaeNy and Yuri looked at him in confusion.

"Private time..?" repeated Yuri.

Mrs Jung nodded.

"Just awhile Yul"
"We'll handle everything, including the mysterious box"

The trio nodded seconds later before heading out.

"No eavesdropping please" added Mr Jung as the trio went out.

After Mr and Mrs Jung made sure that the trio was out of the hearing range.
They sat down, beside Jessica's bed and sighed as they looked at the box.

"Dear, i thought we were out of it.."
"Why is it still here in the end..?" muttered Mr Jung sadly.
"I dont want, i dont want Sooyeon's fate to be like us"
"We tried so much, to not get close to her"
"But why did it still turn out this way?"

"I dont want it too.." replied Mrs Jung with a sigh.
"Why are things coming one after another?"
"We've yet to even settle with the Lees"
"We've to call off the arranged marriage"
"I thought because everything went well for the 18 years"
"Sooyeon could grow normally, and live a normal life"
"I thought when she got diagnosed with leukemia"
"Things would be totally normal"
"But.."

Mr Jung held onto Mrs Jung's hands,
giving it a light assuring squeeze.

"Look on the brighter side dear"
"Probably, this will make Sooyeon's life better because it can literally cure her"

"But.."
"Sooyeon love Yuri"
"Isnt it gonna break them up?"

"We just got to find a way out"
"Im sure, as long as their love stay strong"
"Everything will work out"

"I guess so" replied Mrs Jung with a sigh as she caressed her daughter's cheeks lovingly.
"We're sorry for who we are, sweetie" whispered Mrs Jung with a tear, landing on Jessica's hands.

Just then, Jessica's hands started twitching.
Her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Where is Yuri?!" asked Jessica suddenly as she sat up from the bed immediately after realising that Yuri's not in the room.
"You two chased her away, right?!"

Mr Jung sighed softly and smiled.

"Sooyeon, we didnt"
"She's still outside"
"We wanted to talk to you privately regarding some matters" replied Mr Jung slowly.

Jessica's expression relaxed a little.
But seconds later, it tensed up.

"Talk about what?"
"I wont leave Yuri!"
"I wont leave for US" cried Jessica in tears.

"Shhh.."
"Sweetie" cooed Mrs Jung as she hugged onto Jessica tightly.

Mrs Jung didnt expect Jessica to feel so insecure with them.
Mr Jung ruffled Jessica's hair lovingly and sat on her bed,
bringing the mysterious box to her.

"Sweetie, we've got something to tell you"
"But, please remain calm alright?"
"You're still very weak, we dont want anything to happen to you" said Mrs Jung as she broke the hug, wiping away the tears of Jessica's.

Jessica stared at her parents in disbelief.

"Listen carefully to every single word we are about to say, Sooyeon" added Mr Jung firmly.
"We really dont know how to break it to you.."

"Let me do it" said Mrs Jung with a weak smile.
"Sweetie, its.."

"Stop keeping me in suspense"
"Im really tired.." said Jessica softly.
"The doctors will be coming over later" added Jessica sadly.

It was clearly to be seen that fear was filled in Jessica's tired eyes.
Apparently, it was hurting Mr and Mrs Jung inside out to see their beloved daughter to be in this state.

"Look, theres a cure to your illness" said Mr Jung finally.
"Its in this box"

Jessica stared at it in bewilderment.
Jessica's hands reached out to grab it but was yanked away by Mr Jung.

"Dont touch it, once you touch it"
"You cant rewind anything, Sooyeon" warned Mr Jung.

"Sweetie, we want to give you a choice"
"We want you to decide"

"Decide..?" repeated Jessica, widened eyes.

"You're an angel Sooyeon"

Jessica eyes widened in disbelief.

"Angel..?" whispered Jessica in shock.

Mrs Jung nodded.

"We're sorry for not being able to tell you the truth, sweetie"
"But now, we'll explain everything"

Jessica gasped silently as she unknowningly hugged onto the cucumber soft toy that Yuri had given her.

"Your appa, he's the prince of the angels"
"He was a supposed to be ascending the throne of the angel ruler"
"And under different categories of angels"
"Your appa, he's the throne angel"
"The one that holds tremendous force and power"

"And your omma, she's an archangel Sooyeon"
"We fell in love.."
"But our love was forbidden.."
"So we got banished from the name of angels"
"Nevertheless, we didnt regret about it"

"What about.. haraborji..?" muttered Jessica, unable to believe what she had just heard.

"Well, he doesnt know anything about it sweetie"
"I was told when i was younger and was supposed to keep it a secret"
"I could stay on earth with haraborji"
"But when there are times i had to leave, i had to"
"Since haraborji was really busy when i was younger, he didnt know anything" explained Mrs Jung as she held onto Jessica's hands,
giving her an assuringly pat.

"And now, my father wants you back as the princess of the angels realm Sooyeon" said Mr Jung,
staring at the box.
"We thought we were already striked off from the name of angels"
"We are considered fallen angels"
"But i dont understand it.." added Mr Jung, pointing at the mysterious box.

"Sweetie, if you ever decides to open up this box"
"We'll support your decision"
"The box, it can literally cure your leukemia"
"It gives your mortality like us" said Mrs Jung with an awkward smile.

At that point of time, it really strike Jessica.
Immortality.
Jessica had just realised that her parents had not even aged a single bit.
They still looked like they were in their early twenties.
It just that they dressed a little old to match up with their 'parents' position.

"However, your powers"
"It exceeds anyone of the angels anywhere"
"Because you're a mixed" explained Mr Jung seriously.
"You're immortal, you cant die"
"But you can experience pain, agony and everything Sooyeon"

Suddenly, Jessica eyes closed.
And winced in pain as she grabbed onto her head tightly.

"Omma.."
"My head.. hurts.." winced Jessica in agony.
"Please.."
"Stop telling me about these anymore.."

"Sweetie" said Mrs Jung firmly as she held onto Jessica's hands,
bringing it down from her head.
"You have to listen up"
"You have to be clear of who you are"

"Yes Sooyeon"
"Its important, really"

Jessica looked at Mr and Mrs Jung in tears.

"Why must you tell me all these..?"

"Because we wanted to let you choose" replied Mr Jung.
"This box"
"It determines your new phase of life"
"Deep inside appa and omma's heart, we want you to accept this"
"Its a gift"
"Appa and omma doesnt wish to lose you"

"However, we'll accept any decision you are going to make" added Mrs Jung with an encouraging smile.
"We know that Yuri's an immortal"
"But her kind, and yours"
"Sweetie, its always despised in the angels realm"
"The angels realm deemed Yuri's kind as a dirt"
"Not worth anything"

"And also Sooyeon"
"We would like to explain another thing to you before the doctors come in" added Mr Jung quickly.
"We want you to know, we didnt talk to you"
"Didnt get close to you not because we hate you Sooyeon"
"We wanted to protect you, wanted to let you lead a normal life"
"We thought everything went well, especially when you've been diagnosed with leukemia"
"Thinking that you being diagnosed with leukemia means that we've totally been cut off from the ties of the angel's life"
"But its wrong, we were wrong Sooyeon"

"The doctors, they are coming" said Mrs Jung as she turned to the door.

Mr Jung quickly put the box back in place as they awaited for the arrival of the doctors.

"Good evening Mr Jung, Mrs Jung and Jessica-sshi" greeted the doctors with a smile.

Entering the ward behind them, was Yuri and TaeNy.
Tiffany threw Jessica an eye smile as she waved to her.
Jessica forced a smile back to Tiffany before turning back to the doctors.

"Jessica-sshi, we're here for your third injection for the day" informed the doctors with a sad smile.
"And also, we cant insert the catheter back into your chest veins because it had torn open earlier today"
"Its gonna take some time to recover"
"But we have to continue with the chemotheraphy since there seems to be some positive effects taking place"
"So we'll be inserting the catheter through the veins by your neck"

Jessica silenty gasped.

Jessica's POV

Again..
Again and again..

Why is this always repeating itself..
After hearing from omma and appa..
Im so tempted..
So tempted to open the box..

But then again,
if i were to open,
what will happen to our relationship, Yul?

What seriously lies in the box..?

"Does it hurt..?" muttered Jessica softly.

The doctors threw Jessica an awkward smile.

"It dont hurt as much as the injection"
"Dont worry" said the doctors assuringly.

Jessica sighed and gave a light nod.
Mrs Jung turned to Jessica, and gave Jessica an encouraging smile.

"Sweetie, you'll do fine"
"Omma's sure" said Mrs Jung encouragingly.

"Omma.."
"Do you know how to insert it..?" asked Jessica suddenly.

Mrs Jung's eyes widened in shock.

"I do sweetie"
"But the doctors do a better job"
"Its their profession"
"We nurses are just aiding"

"Omma, can you do it for me..?"
"I'll feel a little safer that way..?" said Jessica softly.

Yuri walked over to Jessica, and brushed her fringe off.

"Sweetheart"
"Are you sure..?"

Jessica nodded with a weak smile as she turned to Mrs Jung with pleading eyes.

"Arasso"
"Omma will do it for you" smiled Mrs Jung as she gave Jessica a light peck on her forehead.

The doctors nodded with a smile.

"But before that, we'll give her the injection first" said the doctors as they nodded to each other and started crowding around Jessica,
squeezing Yuri, as well as Jessica's parents out of Jessica's range.

Jessica's eyes turned into fear.

"Yul.." whispered Jessica softly.

Jessica knew Yuri could hear her.
Upon hearing Jessica's whisper, Yuri quickly squeezed her way through the doctors.

"Just awhile sweetheart"
"I'll be here"

"Yul, dont leave me please?"
"Can you please hold onto my hand?" pleaded Jessica softly.

Yuri turned to the doctors.
The doctors smiled in return with a nod.

"Thanks" muttered Yuri with a smile.
"Come on, let the doctors do their job alright?" said Yuri as she helped turn Jessica over.
"I'll be here" added Yuri holding onto Jessica's hands.
"It'll be fast, alright sweetheart?"

Jessica nodded as she felt a cold tingling feeling on her back.
It was the alcoholic swab.
Within seconds, a sharp prick was felt in Jessica's back as she jerked upwards.
The doctors immediately pushed Jessica back down onto the bed.
Jessica's grip on Yuri's hands tightened.

Yuri, on the other hand,
was caressing Jessica's hands softly and gently.

"Its going to be fine sweetheart" cooed Yuri softly as she observed the latter's pain expression.

"Yul.. why does it.."
"Yulyulyulyulyul!" squeaked Jessica in pain as the doctors inserted the needle straight into Jessica's back,
a painful tear fell down her cheek.

"You're doing well" encouraged Yuri with a smile.
"See, you're all done" added Yuri as she carried Jessica and slowly placed her on the bed.

"Here's the equipment" said the doctors passing Mrs Jung a metal container with different packs of items.

Mrs Jung looked at it and turned to Jessica with a worried look.

"Sweetie, if it hurts"
"Tell omma okay?"
"I'll let the doctors do it if it hurts"

Jessica shook her head tiredly.

"Arent you the head nurse..?"
"Didnt you have many experiences omma..?"
"Im sick and am a patient now"
"I want you to do it for me.." said Jessica with teary eyes, probably from the injection minutes ago.

"Arasso" replied Mrs Jung with a stressful sigh as she placed the equipments on Jessica's side table.

Putting on her gloves,
slowly unwrapping everything with care and caution as eyes were watching her everywhere in the room.
After getting everything prepared, Mrs Jung took the iodine swab and wiped it around Jessica's side neck.
Letting out a huge sigh, Mrs Jung picked up the long needle.

"Im going to insert it now sweetie"
"If it gets unbearably painful"
"Please let omma know alright?" said Mrs Jung worriedly with a frown.

Jessica nodded with a weak smile and closed her eyes.
Slowly, the needle was being inserted to her neck as it went deeper and lower.
It was painful for Jessica, but she didnt want to tell Mrs Jung.
She didnt want Mrs Jung to stop, for the first time,
being the patient of Mrs Jung, Jessica was silently rejoicing inside her.
Minutes after Mrs Jung was done, Jessica let out a silent sigh.

Yuri chuckled as she ruffled Jessica's hair.

"I've heard that sigh" whispered Yuri into Jessica's ears.

Jessica slowly opened her wet teary eyes and rolled her eyes at Yuri.

"What?" mouthed Yuri with a smirk as she shove the cucumber straight into Jessica's face.

The doctors let out a soft chuckle at the couple as they took their leave,
and left the rest in the room with Jessica.

"Does it hurt a lot just now?" asked Mrs Jung worriedly.

"Aniya"
"It doesnt hurt a single bit" lied Jessica with a smile.

TaeNy whispered to each other with a soft giggle which earned a look from Yuri.

"Merong" mouthed TaeNy with their tongues sticking out.

"What is wrong with you three?" asked Jessica, watching the three with a puzzled expression.

"Nothing's wrong Jessi!" said Tiffany with a smile as she placed her arms around Taeyeon's waist.
"Anyway, Jessi, did your omma and appa talked to you about that?" asked Tiffany, pointing to the mysterious box.

Jessica stayed silent for awhile before smiling to Tiffany.

"Yup they did"

"So what is it?"
"Can you open it up?" asked Taeyeon with interest.

Jessica shook her head.

"Im contemplating whether to open it up or not"

"Why?" asked Yuri curiously.

"Because.."

Jessica turned to Mr and Mrs Jung with a helpless expression.

"Should I?" mouthed Jessica to Mr and Mrs Jung.

"Up to you, sweetie" smiled Mrs Jung as she gave a light pat on Jessica's head.
"We'll leave you four here and sort things out on your own"
"Alright?"

Jessica nodded with a soft sigh while Mr and Mrs Jung exited the room,
pulling the doors closed behind them.

"Well..?"

"Yul and Taeyeon, does angels exists?" asked Jessica bluntly.

The two looked shock yet surprised at Jessica's sudden question.
But nodded with a sigh after that.

"Why?"
"Angels are not someone we could be trifled with sweetheart" explained Yuri with a frown.
"They dont like us, they think that we are like vampires who human blood because we are so similar to them"
"But sweetheart, we dont"
"We are similar but we dont drink and feed on blood"

"Precisely" added Taeyeon as she rolled her eyes.
"I hate them for their childish mindset"
"They kill everyone of us as soon as they sees any of us"

Jessica gasped.

Jessica's POV

No!
How could they..?

I cant let them come into contact with Yuri, TaeNy and YoonSun.
I cant, they are people who are so important to me.
They cant!

End of Jessica's POV

"Oh.."

"Woah, i didnt know angels existed" chuckled Tiffany with an awkward smile as she scratched her head in confusion.

"Of course you dont, baby dolls"
"How long has it been since you've entered our world?" 

"I guess so" laughed Tiffany cutely.

Yuri turned to Jessica with a serious expression.

"Why did you ask?"
"What is wrong with angels?"

Jessica smiled with an assuring look.

"Nothing, i was just wondering"
"Well, the box, it was nothing"
"Just a prank" lied Jessica with a smile.

"Really?" asked Tiffany curiously.

"Of course"
"Why would i lie to you?"

"Alright.." said Tiffany disappointedly.

Tiffany's POV

Im sure Jessi's hiding something from me..
That box..

Its weird.
Isnt it..?

Jessi, its been 12,
nearing 13 years of our friendship.
How could i not know all your different expressions?
I know you're lying, arent you?

"What are you thinking about?" asked Taeyeon as she nudged Tiffany gently.

Tiffany shook her head and turned to Taeyeon with a sweet eye smile.

"Nothing, i was just thinking of what to do after Jessi's discharge"
"Have to plan now, you know?" lied Tiffany.

"Awww~"
"Thanks Tiff"
"You're the best!" said Jessica with a wide smile.

"Of course i am the best"
"Look, im one and only that you can never find the second one on earth or even"
"In this universe Jessi" said Tiffany with an arrogant smirk.

Jessica rolled her eyes as she stretched her hands back and pulled a pillow behind her.
Within seconds, a pillow was seen flying at a high speed straight in Tiffany's face.

"How was that?" asked Jessica sacarstically with a smirk.

Tiffany huffed with annoyance and picked up the pillow,
threw it straight at Jessica's face.
Before Jessica could dodge it, it hit her face straight harshly.

"Baby dolls, that was too hard"
"Your strength, control please?" said Taeyeon with an awkward smile as she pointed to Jessica's whose nose was bleeding.

"Omo!"
"Bianeh Jessi!!!" apologised Tiffany immediately as she rushed to Jessica's side,
trying to help her but was pushed away gently by Yuri with a smile.

"Its alright Tiffany"
"I understand, i've been through this" said Yuri with an assuring smile.
"Im sure Jessica's fine with it"

Jessica turned up with a deadly glare as she held onto the bridge of her nose.

"Who said i did?" hissed Jessica under her breath.

Tiffany immediately clasped her hands together with her eyes closed,
pleading to Jessica.

"Bianeh Jessi!!"
"I really wasnt doing it on purpose!!"
"Please forgive me!!" pleaded Tiffany with her eyes closed,
rubbing her hands together.

Taeyeon chuckled at the dorkiness of her cute girlfriend while Yuri just giggled at Tiffany's actions.
Jessica smiled as she knocked Tiffany's head lightly.

"Pabo!"
"When will i ever get mad at my best friend?" chuckled Jessica cutely.

Tiffany looked up timidly but realised that Yuri and Taeyeon was chuckling at her silently.
Her expression turned immediately.

"YAH!"
"Why are you always like this Jessi!" exasperated Tiffany dramatically.
"Im sure your nosebleed is fake too right!"

Jessica's eyes widened in shock as she laughed.

"What the?"
"My nose bleed, its real Tiff!"
"How could i fake it!" said Jessica as she mentally face palmed herself at Tiffany's assumption.

"I dont believe it" said Tiffany firmly with crossed arms.

"I cant help it either Tiff"
"I cant make you believe, can i?" laughed Jessica as she laid down on the bed,
with Yuri helping Jessica to add pillows under it to keep her head elevated.
"You know, your expression just now was really really priceless"
"If only i had a DSLR just now"
"I'll capture that precious moment"

Taeyeon chuckled.

"I've gotten it down!" said Taeyeon rejoicing with her phone in her hands.
"Although its not taken by DSLR, but its extremely clear" added Taeyeon with a wink.

"TAETAE!" screamed Tiffany in disbelief as she ran after Taeyeon at her inhuman speed.

But Taeyeon was faster as they ran out of the ward,
zooming past Mr and Mrs Jung.

"What were they up to?" laughed Mrs Jung as she watched the two in disbelief,
holding onto a sandwich as she entered the room.

Mr Jung shrugged with a laugh.

"Here sweetie"
"Try to get something down" offered Mrs Jung as she passed the sandwich to Jessica.

Jessica took it and turned to Yuri with a smile.

"Yul, can you excuse us for a moment?" asked Jessica suddenly.

Yuri looked confused but nodded and went out.

"No eavesdropping!" added Jessica as Yuri exited the room,
waving Jessica an 'OKAY' sign.

After Yuri exited the room, Mr and Mrs Jung held worried expressions in their faces.

"Whats wrong Sooyeon?" asked Mr Jung worriedly.

"Yup, sweetie, whats wrong?"

Jessica smiled.

"Stop creasing your forehead because of me omma and appa"
"Well, i've decided"

"Decided..?" repeated Mr and Mrs Jung in shock.
