Yuri was pacing around in her room,
holding onto her phone tightly in her hands.
It looked as if she was anticipating a call.

"Ahem" interrupted a voice.

It was the voice Yuri was waiting for.
Turning around immediately, Yuri smiled.

"You're back"

"Of course"
"I promised, didnt i?" smiled Jessica as she walked over to give Yuri a warm hug.

"So what was going on back there at your house?"

"Well, just something that my grandfather wanted me to settle for him"

"Grandfather?"

"Yup, the one in the angels realm"
"Hes the ruler of the realm"

"Ohh.."

"Dont worry, Yul"
"Im here, okay?"
"I know whatever is up in your mind" said Jessica with a wide smile.

"You do?"

Jessica nodded.

"Yul, can i ask you a question?"

Yuri looked at Jessica, with a puzzled expression but nodded in the end.

"What if you were to see Yeonjung one day?"
"Will your love for her rekindle?"

Yuri chuckled awkwardly.

"Of course not, sweetheart"
"I have you now, dont i?" said Yuri awkwardly, avoiding Jessica's gaze.

Jessica knew it straight away that Yuri was lying.
But nevertheless, she just smiled.

Yuri's POV

Im sorry for lying sweetheart.
I know she hurt me.
But a relationship for years, how could i bring myself to forget and hate her almost immediately?

"But why are you asking me such questions?" asked Yuri worriedly.

"Oh?"
"I just want to feel safe with your answers" lied Jessica with a smile.
"Dont worry about it"

"Really...?"

Just then, Jasmine came into the room with something in her hands.
Jessica and Yuri turned to the unexpected guest.

"Why are you here Jasmine?"

"Princess Yuri, i've something for you" replied Jasmine respectfully.

But inside Jasmine's eyes, there was something more than that.
Jessica had already known about it ever since she first stepped into the castle and saw Jasmine.
However, Jessica just kept quiet about it.

"What is it?"

"This" said Jasmine as she handed the rolled up letter to Yuri with two hands.
"It was said to be a confidential letter to you"
"And urgent"

Yuri frowned and picked up the letter from Jasmine's hands.
It was an old piece of paper, rolled up and tied loosely by a thin red ribbon.

"Thanks"
"I'll get it from here, you can leave" said Yuri as she turned to the balcony of her room,
with Jessica behind.

"Whats that?" asked Jessica curiously as she peered over Yuri's shoulders.

"Wait sweetheart"
"I've got no idea"
"Let me read it first" said Yuri as she walked away from Jessica.

To be honest, Jessica was disappointed that Yuri actually kept the contents of the letter away from Jessica.
What does that actually show Jessica?
Showed that Yuri werent really trusting Jessica much?

"Oh, er no one important" replied Yuri nervously as she put the letter into her pocket with an awkward smile.
"Its just one of those normal complain letters sent by the people out there"
"Faking its urgency and importance"

"I see.." mumbled Jessica in return as her mind went away,
thinking and pondering on other stuff.

"Princess Taeyeon"
"I've got an emergency yet confidential letter for you" said the butler as he entered Taeyeon's room.

Taeyeon was lying on the bed,
with Tiffany,
giggling away happily.
As soon as the butler stepped in,
they stopped and sat up with a curious expression.

Taeyeon walked over to the butler and took it from his hands.
It was the total same scrolled up letter like Yuri's.

Have you been treating our mushrooms well?

I missed you..

You thought i died right..?

I survived.

Taeyeon glanced at her watch.
It was only left with 2 hours to midnight.

"What is it about?" asked Tiffany as she got off the bed and came to Taeyeon's side.

Taeyeon looked flustered as she quickly kept the piece of letter in her pocket and turned to Tiffany with an awkward smile.

"It was nothing"
"Just some errands i have to run tonight"
"So babydolls, stay here in my room and wait for me"
"Okay?"

Tiffany pouted.

"Why cant i go with you?"

"Because its dangerous" replied Taeyeon patiently with a weak smile.

"But im an immortal like you"
"I can take care of myself now Taetae"

Taeyeon shook her head in disagreement.

"No"
"You're stronger yes"
"But you cant fight babydolls"
"Listen to me, i'll be back soon"
"Alright?"

Tiffany sighed.

"Guess i'll just have to rot here alone for the night"

"Awww.."
"Dont be like this babydolls"
"I love you and i want to be with you"
"But there is something i need to confirm it myself"
"Be nice okay?"

Tiffany just nodded sadly as she snuggled back into Taeyeon's bed with a pout.
Letting out a soft chuckle, Taeyeon hurriedly left the room and castle as she sped out to where the venue she thought it is.
As soon as she reached the cafe,
it was all dark.
Of course, the cafe werent supposed to be opened overnight.

"I must be too stupid to be believing in those letters.." mumbled Taeyeon disappointedly as she turned to walk towards her car.

Just as she was about to get onto her car,
a pair of cold hands were over Taeyeon's eyes,
covering them.
The scent that was flowing into Taeyeon's nostrils.
It was the one Taeyeon's been waiting for,
longing for.

"You didnt forget us, did you?" asked a sweet voice behind Taeyeon,
followed by a cute chuckle.

Taeyeon slowly put brought her hands up and pulled open the pair that was on her eyes.
Immediately, Taeyeon's eyes turned teary as she turned behind.
Reaching her hands out to the face she missed for years.

"Mushroom Hwang.."
"Is that really you..?"

Hwangyoung smiled,
revealing her snow white teeth at Taeyeon.

"Of course its me Taengoo" replied Hwangyoung as her husky voice ruffled Taeyeon's ears.

Totally forgetting about Tiffany,
Taeyeon pounced onto Hwangyoung and gave her a warm tight hug.

"I missed you.."
"But arent you..?"

Hwangyoung broke the hug with an apologetic smile.

"Im sorry i've came back to you so late Taengoo"
"I was killed by your parents"
"But someone else saved me and changed me.."
"Im not longer the human you used to see me as Taengoo"

Taeyeon's eyes widened and opened her ears,
listening to her old lover attentively.

"Im an immortal now.."
"But its just that im a vampire and i feed on blood Taengoo" said Hwangyoung,
feigning a slight sense of guiltiness to make Taeyeon believe her.

"A vampire..?"

Hwangyoung cast her head downwards with a hurt look.

"Im sorry, maybe i shouldnt have look you up in the first place" mumbled Hwangyoung as she turn to leave.

Taeyeon thought about it for a few seconds before turning to Hwangyoung.

"Hey wait!" shouted Taeyeon as she ran after Hwangyoung,
grabbing onto her wrist.
"Im sorry mushroom"
"I love you.."
"I was just taken aback by everything thats happening in my eyes" explained Taeyeon as she back-hugged Hwangyoung,
voice trembled a little with tears falling down her cheeks.

Hwangyoung smirked secretly at Taeyeon before turning back to Taeyeon with an apologetic smile,
wiping her tears away.

"Im sorry Taengoo"
"I was too rash.."
"I love you too.."
"Im back for you now, do you wanna start over again with me..?"

Taeyeon frowned a little but nevertheless agreed to Hwangyoung's request immediately,
temporary forgetting the existence of her current girlfriend - Tiffany Hwang.

"You want us to get together?" asked Taeyeon happily as her frown turned into a huge smile within that mere spilt second.

"Of course i would want it Taengoo!"
"Its just whether do you still want me.." said Hwangyoung with a sad pout.

"Silly mushroom!"
"I'll want you, of course!"
"That goes without saying" grinned Taeyeon dorkily as she held onto Hwangyoung's cold hands.
"Your hands are cold" blurted Taeyeon suddenly.

Hwangyoung's POV

Of course mine are cold.
Not like yours.

You dont even know how much i've went through for the past decades.
Taengoo?
Mushroom?

Im never going to return to the old me.

"Im sorry for my lack of warmth"
"I dont have anymore warmth right now Taengoo"
"Vampires are cold-blooded, remember?"

Taeyeon lightly face-palmed herself for a moment but her hands were caught by Hwangyoung's.

"Hey dont hit yourself like this Taengoo"
"My heart is gonna hurt if you are gonna hit yourself like this all the time" teased Hwangyoung as she led Taeyeon to somewhere for supper.

"I had to face palm myself for forgetting about vampires' characteristics!"
"And for goodness sake, its you"
"My mushroom we are talking about!"

Hwangyoung merely chuckled at the dork who was beside her as they took off for their next stop,
a late night supper.

Stridding down the cold quiet streets of Seoul,
towards the 24 hour cafe by the Han River,
Yuri entered the cafe with a heavy heart.

Stepping into the quiet yet comfortable cafe,
the familiar blonde figure immediately caught Yuri's eyes.
Walking over to her slowly, Yuri took her seat and sat down.

The blonde smiled.

"I missed you"

Yuri sat there, emotionless.

"Whats wrong Yul?"
"Dont you miss me too..?"

Yuri shook her head.
But her eyes displayed the hurt she received decades ago.

"I know you're lying Yul"
"You missed me, you do" insisted the blonde firmly.

"You're wrong, Yeonjung"
"The day you died, my heart died for you too"
"Now i've found the person i love"
"And she love me much more than you do"

"Is it?" replied the blonde sacarstically with a smirk.
"What if i've got something to explain for what you've seen from my diary"
"And i've something for you to see if that JESSICA JUNG you love"
"The one whom you claimed that she love you, is not true" challenged the blonde.

Yuri's eyes widened in shock as how her old love had changed over the decades.

"Yul, listen"
"I still love you"
"I just wanted to prove some things to you" said Yeonjung as her voice softened,
eyes getting a little watery.

Yuri remained silent.

"Look Yul"
"That diary that you've seen"
"Everything was all planned out"
"I was forced to writing that diary"
"That so called 'boyfriend' of mine was my ex"
"Long before i've met you"
"I wanted to break up with him after i met you but he didnt allow me to"
"He abused me.." said Yeonjung sadly as sincerity filled her eyes.

Taking a deep breath,
Yeonjung continued.

"I was forced to write those hurtful things"
"Yul, i really didnt mean to hurt you"
"If i dont do that, he would kill me"

Yuri's expression softened a little.

"Then why didnt you tell me?"
"You know i could have protected you from everything" said Yuri bluntly.

"Because he threatened to tell you all about him and i if i were to tell you that im being threatened"
"I dont want you to know that i've such a past"
"Such a boyfriend"
"I felt embarrassed"

Yuri sighed.

"Yeonjung"
"Whats there to be embarrassed of when we were lovers?"
"We werent supposed to keep things against each other"
"Remember?"

Yeonjung nodded sadly.

"Do you believe now?"
"I didnt hurt you"
"I didnt cheat on you"

"I believe you Yeonjung"
"But you and i, are impossible"
"I've Jessica by my side now.." explained Yuri sadly although she cant deny that part of her wants to get back with Yeonjung.

"Yul, let me show you something" offered Yeonjung as she held her hands out to Yuri.

Yuri frowned and hesistated before grabbing onto it.
As soon as she grabbed it, Yuri's heart broke immediately.
It was a scene, or should i say a few scene thats hurtful enough to make Yuri's heart break.

The scene of Jessica,
secretly meeting up a handsome looking guy,
hugging each other and kissing each other under the quiet blue night sky.

Another scene popped up,
Jessica was at the angels realm with her parents.
They were seated around the glass table with a serious look.
Conversations could even be heard.

"Sooyeon"
"I need you to eliminate the other immortals out there"
"Since you're with one of the princesses there"
"Im sure its an easy job for you right?"

Jessica smiled.

"Of course"
"They are all within my play"
"Dont worry about it"
"I'll leave nothing behind"

The scene changed again.
This time round,
it was Jessica again with the same handsome looking guy in the first scene.
They were holding hands, and eating the same ice cream together.

"I love you baby" said Jessica sweetly.

"I love you too"
"You know right?"

"Im sorry to make you suffer like this baby"
"I'll kill Yuri and her family soon enough and we can go public"

"I believe so too"
"Dont worry baby, take your time"
"I can wait"

Before Yeonjung could change the scene again,
Yuri dropped the contact with Yeonjung.
But this time, in tears.
Her heart broke, shattered into pieces.

"Now you believe what i've said?" asked Yeonjung,
feigning a worried voice inside her as she sat over to the sad Yuri,
putting her arms over Yuri's shoulder to comfort her.

"What are those..?" sobbed Yuri sadly.

"Memories"
"Things i've saw" lied Yeonjung naturally.
"Im just replaying it to you"

"Why can you do that..?" Yuri further probed.

"Because after i've.."
"Oh right, i've yet to tell you"
"Im an immortal now"
"Im a vampire though"
"So yup, after i've been changed"
"I somehow discovered that ive this ability"
"The rest of our kind said these abilities are natural and common in us"
"Thats why i could show you all those" added Yeonjung as she lied to Yuri even deeper.

"Jessica.." hissed Yuri,
this time in anger and hatred.
"How could you.."
"I loved you yet.."

"Yul.."
"Dont be so sad about it"
"You still have got me here"
"Remember?" cooed Yeonjung as she hugged onto Yuri lovingly.

Yeonjung's POV

Im halfway through to making her believe in me..
Guess im a step away to success.
Hope Hwangyoung would be satisfied with me..

"I need to get back and confirm it with her" said Yuri suddenly as she stood up from her seat.

Yeonjung pulled her back down.

"Whats there to confirm Yul?"
"Everything is laid out nicely for you to just see it"
"Isnt it like that?"
"Now that you know Jessica's not loyal to you"
"We can be together, dont we?"

Yuri pondered and hesistated.
Yeonjung futher pushed the limits.

"Plus look"
"Yul, our love was so long"
"But was destroyed thanks to my hateful stomach cancer"
"Now?"
"Im gonna live forever"
"Dont you want it?"
"And Jessica's an angel"
"We and angels dont mix Yul"
"Remember?"

Yeonjung sighed silently as she moved on.

"You dont want us to get sought after by her"
"And her family"
"They are strong, so much stronger than us"
"You've saw it in my memories yourself too right?"
"Shes a spy, an undercover from the angels realm"
"Their identity could never be denied, and avoided":

Yuri thought for a few more minutes before nodding her head to Yeonjung.
Wiping her tears away, Yuri showed Yeonjung a determined look.

"You're right"
"I should just break up with her"
"Shes not worth for my tears"

"Precisely"
"And you know Yul"
"Her leukemia was fake too"
"She had everything planned out so nicely that no one would doubted it"

Yuri's eyes widened.

"How is it even possible?!"

"What cant be possible?"
"Shes the royalties of the angels realm"
"Whatever she seeks for"
"Asks for, she'll get it Yul"
"You're too naive and innocent to have believed her"

Yuri couldnt believed her ears.
Yuri couldnt believed what was entering her ears.

How could it be that Jessica's such a someone behind her back.
Jessica's so pure, innocent, cute and pretty.
And something Yuri had always loved her for.
Her pure heart of gold.

All those,
were just lies?
Lies for Yuri to believe in so that Jessica could get her motive?
Everything were like in favour of her to break up with Jessica.

But neither did it come across to Yuri's mind that it was all too much of a coincidence.

"I really cant believe that Jessica had done all these.."
"Yeonjung.."
"Im so sorry for doubting you.."
"Sorry.." sobbed Yuri sadly as she cried into Yeonjung's chest.

After crying for a good 30 minutes.
Yuri had finally stopped as she sat up from her seat.
This time, with a determined look.

"Yeonjung, i'll get back with you"
"But first, i'll go and clear things with Jessica!"

"Please dont do anything rashly okay?"
"I'll wait for you here" said Yeonjung sweetly with a smile.

Yuri nodded and headed to the door.

"Jessica Jung!" boomed Yuri's voice angrily as she slam the door open with a loud bam.

Jessica was shocked by the sudden outburst of Yuri as she jumped up from her sleep.
Rubbing her eyes for clearer view, her wrist were held roughly by Yuri suddenly.

"Whats wrong Yul?" asked Jessica half awake.

"I want you to get out of here"
"My kingdom, my castle!" demanded Yuri angrily.

Jessica's eyes widened in shock.

"Whhh..aattt..?" stuttered Jessica,
unable to believe her eyes nor ears.

"I want you to get out!"
"I hate you!"
"Your lies!"

"Since when did i lie to you Yul?"

"You lied to me ever since i knew you!"
"You lied you lied!" exploded Yuri angrily.
"You lied about your love for me!"
"You lied about wanting to protect us!"
"You lied about your cancer!"

Jessica's mouth dropped open in disbelief.

"How could i possibly lie to you about those Yul..?"
"I love you so much"

Yuri landed a tight slap on Jessica.
A thick metallic taste was felt.

"DONT LIE" hissed Yuri.
"Yeonjung told me and showed me everything"

Upon hearing Yeonjung's name,
Jessica smirked.

"Right, so you went to meet her"
"Dont you?"
"Your love rekindled"
"Congratulations Kim Yuri"
"Congratulations on finding your old love"
"You're right or shes probably right"
"Everything she showed you were right, the truth of everything"
"Since you knew about everything, i'll leave right now" said Jessica sacarstically as she wiped blood off ,
holding back her tears.

Jessica then turned and ran out of the room,
in tears.

Jessica's POV

How could you Yul..
You said you loved me yet you doubted me..

I really loved you.
I really promised and pledged to protect you and your family.
You didnt even know why Yeonjung is back.

How silly can you get,
thinking that shes back for you..
How..?

Yeonjung is a dangerous figure Yul..
Your words today..
Indeed has hurt me.
But i'll still keep my promise to you and the others.

End of Jessica's POV

"How was the first step?" asked Hwangyoung as she spinned her armchair around,
filing her nails with a smirk.

"I think i've done it right Hwangyoung"
"Yuri believed what i've showed her"
"Its going well, right?"

"I assume it is?"
"Your ability really works well" complimented Hwangyoung with a grin.
"Dont let anyone know you're lying about your ability"
"Your ability is made to make people believe"

Yeonjung nodded with a frown.

"I know"
"Stop reminding me"

"Your ability of forging memories"
"Is so rare within our kind"
"So it became real useful within us"
"It can help us a lot with our revenge plan"

"But Hwangyoung, whats our next step?"
"I've broke Yuri and Jessica up"
"And made up with Yuri, so we are currently together"

"I've made Taeyeon with me too"
"Think shes too elated to have forgotten about that Tiffany"
"Seems like we still stood a huge place in their hearts"
