"Decided..?"
"What have you decided?" asked Mr Jung concernly.

"That" said Jessica bluntly, pointing to the box that was infront of her.

"Oh.." said Mrs Jung with a slight nod.

Mrs Jung's heard was thumping.

"So what is it Sooyeon?"

"Appa, omma"
"I've decided to open the box"
"And accept me for who i am" said Jessica firmly.

"How about Yuri?"

"I believe i can change everything"
"Yul is not like what the rest thought of them"
"They dont or feed on human blood appa"
"I want to change everything"

"But are you sure?"
"Picking up this important fate"
"You'll be given lots of tough tasks"
"At times, even appa nor omma can help" explained Mrs Jung with a frown.

Jessica sighed.
She knew this would definitely happen.

"I know"
"However, i cant possibly see them killing each other for misunderstandings"
"Right?"

Mr and Mrs Jung watched their daughter as they nodded in agreement.

"Sweetie, we just dont want you to get hurt so much"
"We know you've suffered so much because of us"
"We dont want you to suffer anymore"

Jessica smiled weakly.

"Then let me open the box"

With a nod, Mr Jung brought the box over to Jessica reluctantly and placed it on her lap.

"Sooyeon, once this is opened"
"There will be no turning back alright?"
"And you'll most likely be brought up to the realms to see my father"
"There will be people in the realm tracking you"
"Once you've opened it, accepted your fate"
"People will start coming over to get you"

Jessica listened attentively to her father's precise instructions and warning.
Nodding her head a little, Jessica slowly put her left hand on the handprint.
It fitted exactly in it.
Beams of light starting shooting from the hand print of the box.
Seconds later, a click was heard and the box shot open.

Opening up, was a wax stamp.
There was a wax, as well as a wax stamp.

Jessica turned to her parents with a puzzled look.

"We'll have to stamp it on you sweetie"
"Because we're your parents"
"Its an angel's stamp"

"Stamp it on where?"

"On your left front shoulder Sooyeon" answered Mr Jung as he picked up the wax and stamp.
"You ready?"

"There will be a burning sensation as we stamp it on"
"It marks the opening and the starting of your angel life sweetie"

Jessica nodded as she closed her eyes while waiting for Mr Jung to melt the wax and stamp it on her.
As Mrs Jung pulled Jessica's top slightly away to reveal her left front shoulder, Mr Jung melted the wax and approached Jessica with the stamp.
In a second, Mr Jung roughly placed the stamp over Jessica's shoulder which made her screamed out loud.

"AHHHHH!" screamed Jessica in agony as she held onto her shoulder and fell back onto the back,
thrashing around.

Mr and Mrs Jung was used to these transformation.
In order to not let other people hear Jessica's screams,
Mrs Jung went forward and covered Jessica's mouth while Mr Jung went to help hold Jessica tightly down.

"Shh.."
"Sweetie, its gonna be over soon"
"Dont worry.." cooed Mrs Jung lovingly as she watched the latter thrashing about the bed in pain.

Minutes later, Jessica had finally calmed down,
and laid on the bed with a blank expression.

"How are you feeling now?" asked Mrs Jung worriedly.

Jessica held the blank expression in her face.

"Weird" said Jessica flatly.
"Omma.."

"Yes sweetie?"

"My back hurts"

"Your back?"
"Come on, sit up" instructed Mr Jung as he helped push Jessica up.

Mrs Jung went over to Jessica's back and saw red patches on Jessica's back.
She smiled.

"Sweetie, dont hold back the pain"
"Let the pain come out" said Mrs Jung as she carressed Jessica's hair.

Jessica closed her eyes and focused on the words Mrs Jung said.
Within seconds, a huge pair of clear crystal blue wings shot out from Jessica's back.

"Beautiful.." commented Mr Jung in awe.
"You're awesome Sooyeon"

Jessica turned to her back and realised that huge pair of wings behind her.
Her facial expression dropped.

"How do i even keep this..?" asked Jessica bluntly.
"I cant possibly walk around with this, can i?"

Mr Jung chuckled.

"Well, just close your eyes"
"Focus and focus"
"Focus on the thought of hiding your wings"
"It will be gone"
"Trust me"

Jessica did as she was told.
Sure enough, her wings went away.
Mrs Jung, on the other hand was removing Jessica's medical supplies that were inserted to her.

"From now on, you wont need these anymore sweetie"
"Your body has a self-healing system"
"Its like, if you were to get hurt one day"
"Like physically by weapons of the normal human race kind"
"You'll recover on your own within that day" explained Mrs Jung as she tidied the stuff up.

"And if you're wounded by the non-mortals of any kinds"
"Which we think would be pretty serious"
"Your body would self heal too"
"But with a longer period of time, depending on your degree of injury" added Mr Jung with a smile.

"Why is this so?"
"Why Yuri heals so much more faster?"

"Because Yuri, their cells have been frozen"
"Their cells have stopped working"
"Whilst for us, our cells are still living"
"But theres the special substance inside us to prevent our cells from dying or ageing"
"Which explains our mortality"
"And the special increased in our white blood cells is the one that help heal our wounds"

Just then, there was a bright beam of light in Jessica's room.
The family of Jungs were covering their eyes from the strong beam of light.
Slowly uncovering their eyes, Jessica was shocked to see 3 strong muscular built men standing infront of her.
Bowing slightly to Mr Jung first, and then to Jessica,
ignoring Mrs Jung's presence.

"Princess Sooyeon" greeted the 3 strong muscular built men.
"We're glad to have you back with us"
"The King wishes to see you"

Mr Jung turned to the 3 men with a firm expression.

"Leeteuk, we're going with her" said Mr Jung firmly.

"My prince, im sure you can come"
"But.."

"If my mum cant come"
"I wont be going either" said Jessica coldly.

"You dont have a choice, Princess Sooyeon" said the taller guy.

"I dont have a choice, do you want to see it?" threatened Jessica as she got off her and walked straight towards the taller guy.
"Choi Siwon, isnt it?" read Jessica from Siwon's armour.

His name was engraved on it.
Every angel warrior has a customised armour with their names engraved on it.

Siwon nodded respectfully.

"What can the King do?"
"Track me?"
"What if someone hurts me?"
"Will he be able to track who did it?"

Siwon's eyes widened in shock.

"Yes Princess Sooyeon"
"He can"
"Every non-mortals' has their own special unique weapons"
"And even if its a tiny weeny cut"
"It can still be tracked from your wound" explained Siwon with a nod.

Jessica smirked.

"You're still serious on not letting my parents come with me?" asked Jessica the second time, with a firm voice.

"Like i've said, Prince SeongKyung is welcomed"
"The King misses his son too"
"But she" said Siwon as she pointed at Mrs Jung rudely.
"Will not be welcomed"

Jessica sighed.
As she shook her head, she swiftly grabbed the sword of Siwon which was hanging by his side,
and stabbed it straight through her stomach.
Everyone's eyes widened in shock.
Jessica stood there with a pained expression despite that smirk.

"How about.. this..?"
"Will the King.. kill you..?"
"Its your.. sword thats in.. my body.. now.." said Jessica in between gasps due to the excruciating pain.

"Sooyeon/Sweetie!" shouted Mr and Mrs Jung worriedly as they ran over to pick Jessica up.

Jessica smiled.

"Dont.. worry.."
"You're.. all coming with me.."
"Omma.. you too.." said Jessica with a smile.

The 3 men sighed.
Siwon had an heavy heart.
He knew he will be having a hard time once he returns back to the realm with Jessica in that state,
as well as Mrs Jung as the unexpected guest.
But he couldnt allow Jessica to stay here any longer.
With a nod at his two other companions which are Donghae and Leeteuk respectively,
they crowded around the three and disappeared within a flash.

 At the realm, Mrs Jung was carrying Jessica in her arms while was beside them,
watching out for them.

"Sweetie, why are you so silly?"
"To put yourself in pain just for me..?"

Jessica smiled weakly.

"Because i dont want to leave my omma.." whispered Jessica.
"Dont worry.. I'll heal soon enough.."

Mrs Jung sighed with a frown.

As they walked past the realms with angels all around,
lots of gasps were heard.
It must be because of the past stories they've heard about Mr and Mrs Jung.
Finally, they've arrived at the palace of the realm.

Straight into the hall, they found the King and Queen sitting by the huge golden throne,
waiting impatiently for the arrival of Jessica and Mr Jung.
Upon seeing Mr Jung, the King and Queen smiled.
But their happiness was shortlived when they saw Jessica in Mrs Jung's hands,
bleeding furiously.

The King's eyes widened in shock as anger filled his face.

"CHOI SIWON!" boomed the King's voice loudly.
"What have i said?!"
"To bring Princess Sooyeon back safely!"
"What is your sword doing in her body?!"

Siwon's head was casted downwards as he dropped to his knees.

"Its all my fault, My King"
"Im willing to accept any punishment" said Siwon sadly.

Jessica then slowly got off from Mrs Jung's arms and staggered to the front of the King.
With a cold firm look, Jessica took a deep breath and pulled the sword out and threw it infront of Siwon as she held onto her bleeding abdomen tightly.

"I was the one.. who did it.."
"Because.. you dont allow-" said Jessica as she fell onto the ground.
"You dont allow.. my mum to.. follow me.."

"Thats because she didnt obey the rules, honey" explained the King lovingly.
"You're our granddaughter, we love you"

Jessica laughed mockingly.

"Without my mum, where will i be..?"
"Arent your.. thinking concept a little.. old fashioned..?"

The King was taken aback by Jessica's bluntness.

"But honey, you're suppose to come and ascend our throne"

Jessica chuckled.

"To save me.. is for me.. to ascend the throne..?"

The Queen sighed as she motioned for the guards around her.

"Bring Princess Sooyeon, Prince SeongKyung as well as HER to their rooms and rest" instructed the Queen.

The guards nodded.

"Honey, we'll talk more when you're fine alright?" cooed the Queen with a smile.

After that, the three were directed back to their own given rooms.
While Mrs Jung, followed Jessica back to her room.
Helping her daughter onto the bed, Mrs Jung sat by her bedside with a sigh.

"Waeyo..?" asked Jessica with a curious expression.

"You shouldnt have done that sweetie" said Mrs Jung sadly as she shook her head.
"I shouldnt even be in here in the first place"
"I dont deserve to be here"

"Omma, you're my mum"
"Why shouldnt you be here?"
"Omma, dont be afraid of them.."

Mrs Jung sighed and ruffled Jessica's hair.

"Are you still hurting?"
"You shouldnt stab the sword into your abdomen sweetie"

Jessica smiled weakly.

"Its okay, i can feel my body repairing on its own now"

Mrs Jung turned to Jessica's stomach and flipped her shirt up.
Carressing Jessica's bleeding stomach,
Mrs Jung's tear fell off her eyes.

"Its still bleeding sweetie" muttered Mrs Jung sadly.
"It must have hurt, right?"

Jessica shook her head.

"Its bleeding far lesser than it was just now"
"So dont worry, omma"
"I'll meet the King and Queen later"

Mrs Jung's eyes widened.

"Later?"
"You should just stay in bed"
"And you should greet them as haraborji and haemuni"

Jessica shook her head once again.

"Im going to leave soon"
"Dont forget about Yuri, omma"
"She must be fussing mad to realise that im missing from the hospital"

"Fine, but omma will leave with you okay?"
"I dont like to stay here too"

"I know, but i just want you to be with me for now omma"
"I know im selfish, but i just need you and appa by my side.."
"I've yet to tell Yuri about my identity" said Jessica with a sad sigh.

"Its okay but you really have to tell her sooner or later sweetie" advised Mrs Jung with a weak smile.
"You take a rest now alright?" added Mrs Jung as she exited the room and came back minutes later with some disinfectant water.

"Whats all that for omma?"

"I just wanna clean up your wound sweetie"
"It will help in healing up" smiled Mrs Jung as she dabbed the cotton with the disinfectant water and wiped it around Jessica's wound.

Jessica winced and pushed away Mrs Jung's hands.

"Omma.."
"It hurts.." said Jessica with teary eyes.
"Just let it heal on its own, please..?"

Mrs Jung shook her head firmly.

"No, it will take a longer time"
"Dont you wanna leave soon?"
"Its just gonna sting awhile sweetie" persuaded Mrs Jung with an awkward smile.

Jessica could see in Mrs Jung's eyes,
theres so much in Mrs Jung's eyes that she wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.
Jessica sighed as she stood up from the bed and brought the whole bottle of disinfectant water up.
She took a deep breath and poured the whole bottle onto her wound within seconds.

To be honest, it hurts like nobody's business.
Tears were streaming down Jessica's face.
She then took a few cotton pad and wipe it off.
After wiping, she walked out of the room and straight into the King and Queen's resting chamber.

"Ermm.." started Jessica as she walked into the room,
a little dizzily.

"Hey honey"
"You're here?"
"How are you now?"

"We've asked the guards to bring you back to your room to rest"
"You need to rest honey" agreed the King with a nod.

"I dont need to"
"Im fine" said Jessica flatly as she showed the King and Queen her wound.

It was healing well.
It is now a small cut as compared to before.

"I just want to know, why am i here?"
"I wanna leave soon"

The King and Queen furrowed their eyebrows at Jessica curiously.

"Why do you wanna leave?"

"Thats because i have someone i love"
"Down there waiting for my return" said Jessica bluntly.
"If you dont have anything for me"
"I'll leave right now, with my appa and omma"

The King sighed softly.

"Is it that filthy bloodsucker girl?"

Jessica glared at the King rudely.

"She's not a vampire"
"She dont feed on blood!" defended Jessica immediately.

"You dont know honey"
"She might be after your blood"
"Angel's blood are precious and rare because it can heal everything"
"Especially yours, a royalty's" explained the Queen concernly.

"Im not going to repeat what i've said"
"If there is nothing much you wanna say"
"Im leaving now" snapped Jessica impatiently as she turned for the door.

"Hey wait honey!"

Jessica turned around.

"What?"

"You really dont want to ascend the throne honey?"
"You'll be filled with riches and wealth" said the King, trying to tempt Jessica.

Jessica rolled her eyes and let out a mocking chuckle.

"Riches and wealth?"
"Do you not think im living in poverty now?" replied Jessica sacarstically.
"I thank you, for saving my life"
"But i wasnt obliged to do anything for you since it wasnt stated anywhere that if you were to save me"
"I've to do something in return for you"

The King let out a soft giggle.

"You're just like your appa"
"Alright, honey"
"In actual fact, we really have something that requires your help"
"You see, we're getting on years now"

"Getting on years?" laughed Jessica.
"I thought you're an immortal, an angel"
"Whats with these?"

"We're tired of ruling and taking care of this realm"
"To prevent the dark forces from overtaking our realm honey"
"We found you"

"So?"

"So can you help us to get rid of it?"
"Theres two master mind out there"
"Trying to take over our realm" said the King sadly.

"Who is it?"

"Soo Yeonjung & Mi Hwangyoung" said the King.

Jessica's POV

Soo Yeonjung..?
It sounds so familiar..

Where have i heard of the name..?

End of Jessica's POV

"Who are they?"
"What do you want me to do?"

"I want you to get rid of them" replied the King bluntly.
"Over the years, the duo has been creating a lot of trouble for our realm here"
"They were supposed to be dead for a certain reason"
"But at the underworld, it seems like someone helped them and they became one of those filthy bloodsuckers"

"Bloodsuckers?"
"But how?"
"They were dead, arent they?"

The King nodded sadly.

"They were dead indeed"
"They must be dead to be the bloodsuckers" explained the King calmly.
"If you dont believe, go and look for their graves and dig them out"
"Their body is not even in it"

Jessica's eyes widened in shock.

"What do you want me to do then?"

"Like i've said, to get rid of them"

Jessica rolled her eyes impatiently.

"For your info"
"I've heard this for the third or fourth time now"
"Can you at least elaborate like where will i find them or something and how do i kill them?"

The King smiled.

"Simple"
"Snap their necks or burn them into ashes"
"Thats how we kill bloodsuckers"
"As in where to look for them, its still a mystery"
"We've been searching too"
"They've went missing for months already"
"We predict that they are planning something"
"Their rebellious behaviour tells us that they are after something"

Jessica pondered on the words that came out of the King's mouth for seconds before giving him a nod.

"I get it"
"Tell me when you've gotten news about it"
"I'll leave now" said Jessica as she turned to the door.

Before she stepped out of the room, the Queen called her.

"Honey"

Jessica turned around.

"Why dont you call us haraborji and haemuni?" asked the Queen disappointedly.

"Because you dont accept my omma for who she is"
"Until the day, you two accepts her"
"Gives her a status she deserves being with my appa"
"Will i greet you two as my haraborji and haemuni" said Jessica as she headed out to the door.

"Omma, appa can you two leave me for awhile?" whispered Jessica as she stood outside her ward with a heavy heart.
"I've got to tell Yuri everything"

Mr and Mrs Jung nodded and ruffled Jessica's hair before they turned to leave.
After they left, Jessica let out a huge sigh and entered the room.
Yuri heard the door clicked open and immediately turned to the door.
Within seconds, Yuri were on Jessica,
hugging her tightly.

"Where have you been sweetheart?!"
"I was so worried that i lost you!"
"How could you leave me like that without telling me anything?!" exasperated Yuri worriedly.

Jessica broke off the hug with a soft smile.

"Come, i've something to tell you Yul" said Jessica as she led Yuri on the bed,
putting Yuri's hands on her lap and carressing it, Jessica dropped Yuri a serious expression.
"Listen to every single word im about to say alright?"

Yuri nodded.

"You remember the box?"
"The box Tiff brought to me?"
"It was the box, sent by the angel's realm"
"Im an angel Yul.."
"My parents are too.."
"My dad's a royalty in that realm.."

Yuri's eyes widened in shock as she took her hand back from Jessica.
This time, her eyes were filled with hurt.

"Yul..?"

"Why did things always turn out this way sweetheart..?"
"You and I, will never be able to be together.."
"Why.." mumbled Yuri in tears.

Jessica cupped Yuri's face in her hands,
and smiled.

"Why not?"

"Because it will bring harm to my family sweetheart.."
"Your kind, they hate us"
"I've told you before.."

"Look Yul"
"Im here, i'll do all i can"
"To protect you and your family"
"As well as Tiff and Sun"
"All of you are important to me"
"Dont tell me because of my identity"
"You're going to leave me for it?"

Yuri shook her head sadly.

"Im willing to give up my life for you sweetheart.."
"Im just.."

"Worried?" asked Jessica with a smile.

Yuri nodded.

"Dont be worried"
"Im going to keep your family safe"
"Plus, im the princess of the realm"
"No one can do anything to me"
"And Yul, look at the positive side"
"Im an immortal now, like you"
"And i've recovered from leukemia" said Jessica with a playful wink.

Yuri looked up at Jessica and smiled.
Before Jessica could utter another word,
Yuri threw Jessica into another warm hug.

"I love you sweetheart"
"Please, i wont give up starting from this second"
"You too, please dont give up at any point of time"
"Please" whispered Yuri as she hugged Jessica even tighter.

Jessica smiled and carressed Yuri's back with love.

"I wont"
"I promise"
"I'll change this whole concept of your kind to mine"
"And to tell them the distinct differences between your kind and the bloodsuckers" replied Jessica lovingly.

Just then, the green cucumber rolled off the bed and landed on the ground.
Jessica chuckled.

"Look, you're on the ground now Yul"
"This is the first time seeing an immortal fall" joked Jessica playfully as she broke the hug and picked the cucumber up.
"Yul, even if i've recovered, you'll still stay by my side right?"
"Like this cucumber?"

Yuri smiled at the innocence in Jessica.
Even though Jessica's an angel now,
she has not changed a single bit.

"Of course, sweetheart"
