Kwon Sohyun POV I sigh on my bed. I looked on the ceiling of my room. It’s already twelve past midnight. I can’t sleep. My head kept thinking about Jiyong oppa. He really got some big problem. I really want to help him. I feel like a bad sister if I don’t help him. I stood up from the bed. I feel want to go out for a second. I know it’s already midnight but my mind.. Urghhhh! I creep outside my room. I have to walk tip toed scared if Jiyong oppa realize that I’m not in my room. Well, Jiyong oppa’s room was in front of mine. I sit on the swing outside the veranda. I looked up at the black sky that full of shimmering stars. It really looks pretty to me. Once again, I sigh. My mind kept thinking about Jiyong oppa. Hm, what should I do to help him? ‘What are you doing there?’ I was stunned and surprised with the voice. Thank god I don’t have any heart attack. Hoho~ I looked back and saw Yuri unnie standing behind me. I almost scream when I saw her. I thought she was a ghost or something.. Her hair looked messy and her night pajama was totally white. Her long hair really makes me want to jump from the second stairs of my house. *Hee, I must be out of my mind. ‘Yaa, unnie. What are you doing staying late at night like that?’ I asked. Yuri sat next to me. She just got back when I was busy dating with Dongwoon at 10. Yeah.. Dongwoon went home at 11. He stayed for about 4 hours here. Jiyong oppa not mad with it. And guess what? He let Dongwoon to go upstairs!!! He usually won’t give some permission for someone un-known people even Yuri unnie’s boyfriend never went upstairs to our room. But, Dongwoon? Jiyong just let him upstairs. But I didn’t bring him to my room. Just let him be upstairs at the veranda. HAHA! Date at the veranda watching through the stars. *Sweet isn’t it? ‘Wasn’t I’m the one who ask you that?’ she said. I took a glance at her. ‘What do you mean?’ I asked. ‘Hm, why aren’t you in bed? And what are you doing here?’ she asked. My eye can’t stop looking at the stars. It just made me feel warm. ‘I can’t sleep’ I told her the truth. ‘Waeyo?’ she asked. ‘Is it because of Dongwoon?’ I sigh. ‘It’s not about him, unnie a~’ ‘Then? Don’t tell me you have another guy, Sohyun a~’ Yuri unnie make her own story again. ‘Unnie… I won’t do that to Dongwoon’ I said. Heh, I only love him. How could I do that to him? Aigoooo~ ‘Just tell me what is your problem, Sohyun a~’ ‘It’s about Jiyong oppa’ ‘Jiyong? Did he do something bad to you again?’ she asked while her hand busy checking some bruises on my arms. ‘Ani..’ ‘Then?’ ‘There’s something wrong with oppa’ ‘What do you mean by that?’ ‘He told me, Minyoung want to break up with him’ I can hear Yuri unnie gasp. ‘Why?’ she asked. ‘I don’t know. He just told me Minyoung called him and asked him to break up’ I explained. Yuri sighed. ‘Unnie..’ I called. She looked at me. ‘Did you know something about the two of them?’ I ask. I know Yuri unnie will know something about them. I’m really sure about it. ‘All I know, Minyoung tell oppa, her parent wanted her to married with their choice but she refused’ I gasped as I heard that. ‘So, you mean. Minyoung want to break up because of that?’ I asked. Yuri unnie nodded. ‘I think’ she said. We we’re in a silent mode for a little time thinking the best way to help Jiyong oppa. I yawned. ‘I think you better sleep now, Sohyun a~’ Yuri tap my shoulder. I just nodded my head. My eyes can’t stop to close. I’m just too tired. ‘You have class tomorrow?’ Yuri asked as I entered my room. I nodded my head. ‘But not in the afternoon’ I told her. She just nodded her head and closed my door. I went to sleep silently. Morning, the next day I went down stairs as I’m feeling satisfied with my appearance today. I was wearing my black and pink stripe legging and a big white t-shirt with a words saying “I LOVE CUTE GUYS” hee. Wondering what Dongwoon would say about this thing. *Merong. I just let my long hair passed through my shoulder. ‘Annyong oppa’ I smiled and kissed Jiyong cheek. That’s what I always do every morning. Thank god Dongwoon don’t know about this. HAHA! ‘Annyong Sohyun~’ Jiyong smiled and passed me a plate of pancake. It’s my favorite breakfast this day. ‘You have class this morning?’ I asked him. He just nodded his head. Jiyong has been in the school for almost 4 years including this year. And this year would be his last year to be in the school. So do the other seniors of mine. ‘You want me to send you to school today?’ he asked as we were sat silently on our place and enjoying our breakfast. ‘Hm, molla. Let me text Dongwoon first’ I said and took my phone of from my backpack. I continued to eat my breakfast when my phone rang. It must be Dongwoon. ‘He took me today. Is it ok with you?’ I asked. He nodded his head. ‘Yea. But remind him to bring the car carefully’ Jiyong gave his advised. I nodded. I know he’s really concern about me. And Dongwoon, HIS FUTURE BROTHER-IN-LAW. ‘Oppa, I think Dongwoon is here already’ I said and stood up. I grabbed my backpack and step on the living room searching my black sneakers. My favorite! Jiyong is by my side. I was searching for my lovely shoes until my maid came and brought it to me. ‘Komawo’ I said and wear it. I went to the front door. Before I opened it, I kissed Jiyong’s cheek and said ‘Bye oppa. I see you later’ he just smiled. Dongwoon was already waiting outside. He really looks simple today. He just wear his long sleeves t-shirt and his long-time favorite jeans. He smiled as he saw me. He went closer to me. ‘Ok, I’m ready. Come on’ I said and grabbed his hand to the car. He looked at me. ‘Wait..’ I stopped. ‘What?’ I asked. ‘Why you’re wearing that t-shirt?’ he asked. I looked at my white t-shirt. ‘What’s wrong with it?’ I asked. ‘Hm, the words!’ he said and pointed at the t-shirt. I sigh. See! He’s jealous again! Even though just a t-shirt. ‘It’s just a t-shirt, oppa’ I said and went inside the car. I can hear his sigh. ‘Oppa, palli’ I called him. AT THE SCHOOL CORRIDOR The two of us just went to the school corridor when the group of girls looked at us. Is there something weird? Oh, maybe they just jealous about we’re holding hands? Maybe? HAHA! ‘I’ve got Bio class right now’ I told him whispering when we we’re getting closer to our locker. He looked at me with his cute smiled. ‘I will be at the library, revising’ he said. ‘Don’t have any class this morning?’ I asked. He shook his head. ‘I have just one. After your Bio class. I’ve got Physics class’ he explained. ‘So, we’re not going to the library together?’ I asked. He shook his head. I pouted. He laughed and pinched my cheek. ‘Maybe I left the Physics class early than usual’ he said. I looked at him. ‘Wae?’ I asked. That was not the rules in this school. ‘I’ve got exam’ he said. ‘So, I can get out after I finished my exam’ he explained. I almost forgot about his exam today. Hehehe~ ‘Ok’ I said. Unless you having a test/exam. In the school, if you finished answering the test/exam paper you may go. Cool~ ‘Good luck then, oppa’ I said as the school bell ringed. He smiled and went to the library. After I finished my class I went to the library. I haven’t met Dongwoon for about 2 hours ago. Maybe he’s already in his class doing the test. I sat by my self at the usual place where I always sit with Dongwoon. I went to search a book for a while. As I was searching a book, I saw a girl looking at me while smiling. I was feeling creepy. She looked like a ghost looking at me like that. Hoooo~ ‘Are you Sohyun?’ she asked as she came forward. I nodded my head. She smiled. ‘I need to talk to you’ she said. I nodded and follow her to some empty seat. Well, there’s a lot empty seat at that time. People was busy having their exams today. Mostly the senior. ‘I almost forgot’ she looked at me. ‘I am Minyoung. Park Minyoung’ she said and smiled. I was shocked. She’s Minyoung? Jiyong’s girlfriend? Waaa~ Neomu yeppo! ‘You’re Minyoung?’ I asked. She’s nodded her head. ‘So, I guess Jiyong have told you a stories about us’ she said. I’m feeling weird with her expressions. ‘Hm, stories? I don’t think so. He just told me about the break up’ I told her the truth. She just sighed. ‘Unnie..’ I grabbed her arms. She looked at me. ‘Why do you want to break up with him? Did he hurt you?’ I asked. She sighed again. ‘No, he never hurt me’ she said. ‘Then? Why did you want to break up?’ I asked. ‘I’m not sure to tell this to anyone’ she said. ‘Just tell me. Maybe I can help’ I said try to force her to tell me the truth. She sighed again. ‘I have a reason to break up with him’ she said. ‘Reasons?’ I asked. She nodded her head. ‘Let me tell you something but promise me don’t tell Jiyong about this. Cause he don’t know about this’ I nodded my head. I don’t know why my hearts beating so fast. I wondering what would be the secret that she’s been hiding all this time from Jiyong oppa. ‘I’m fighting my self from the cancer in my body’ my body trembling as I heard it. It’s really sad to know that. ‘Cancer?’ I repeated. She nodded. ‘I’ve been suffering from this disease two years ago’ I gasped. It must be really hard for her to fight that disease. I grabbed her hand and hold it. Try to put her strength. ‘So, that’s why you want to break up with him? Just because of this thing?’ I asked. I don’t mean to be rude to her but I’m thinking Jiyong oppa too. Because of her Jiyong’s attitude gone wrong. She nodded her head. ‘I know maybe you’re mad because of this thing. But I’m surely don’t want to hurt his feelings if he knows I’m suffering this kind of disease’ she put her head down seems like she want to cry. ‘Unnie. I’m sure Jiyong oppa will take care of you’ I said while holding her hands. ‘You know, oppa been so weird lately’ I said. ‘Weird?’ she asked. I nodded. ‘He’s being so weird since Yunho saesangnim wedding celebrations. He can lie to everyone smiling anywhere but not me. I’ve known him for so long. I know when he’s feeling upset and happy’ I explained. ‘Is it because of me?’ she asked. I nodded. I know it’s all because of their relationships. ‘Unnie..’ I called her. She looked at me. ‘Yea?’ she asked. ‘Who is the girl with Jiyong oppa at Yunho’s saesangnim wedding ceremony?’ I asked. ‘My sister’ she said. ‘That’s what Jiyong oppa told me’ I said. ‘So, Sohyun a~’ now she called me. I looked at her. ‘Do you think Jiyong like my sister?’ she asked. ‘I’m sure he likes her as his little sister’ She shook her head. ‘No, I mean. Do you think he love my sister?’ I looked at her. ‘Why would he love your sister?’ I asked feeling uncomfortable. ‘I just wondering..’ ‘I’m sure Jiyong only loves you. Only you’ I said. Try to make her believe my words. ‘I was thinking to asked Jiyong to be with her’ I was shocked. Did she just give Jiyong to her own sister? Wasn’t that made her hurt to see them together? ‘Unnie, what are you talking about?’ I’m really feeling uncomfortable now. ‘You see Sohyun a~ I met my therapist a month ago. He told me that my life will not be long enough. Maybe today or tomorrow. Who knows right?’ I can see her tears falling. It must be really hard to be a tough girl like her. ‘Unnie, don’t talked like that’ I said and hug her. ‘Sohyun a~ I love your brother so much’ she said in a sober. ‘Unnie..’ I the back of her body. ‘He loves you too’ I said. ‘I just need to see him happy’ she said. ‘He’s happy when he is with you’ I explained. Tried to help Jiyong oppa, but I need to help Minyoung unnie too. ‘I’m sure he will be happy when he’s with Dara’ she said. ‘Dara?’ I asked and looked at her. ‘She’s my sister. Sandara Park’ I just nodded and keep hugging her tightly. ‘Sohyun.. Can you help me?’ she asked. I wiped her tears with my thumb. I don’t want to see her crying. It just reminds me how hurt Jiyong oppa will be if he saw this. ‘Sure’ I said. ‘I will do it if I can’ I said. She took a deep breath for a while. I’m waiting nervously. ‘Would you coax him to be with Dara rather than me?’ I was one hundred percent shocked with her hoped. How can I do that to Jiyong oppa? I don’t want Jiyong to cried or even mad at me. It would totally a nightmare to me. ‘Sohyun~’ she looked at me. ‘Hm, let me think of it’ I said. She sighed. ‘I hope you can’ she said hoping. ‘Unnie, don’t hope on me that much’ I said. ‘I want to see him to be with her before I die Sohyun a~’ I hold her hand tightly. ‘Unnie, don’t talked about that one’ I said. ‘I need to asked something unnie a~’ she looked at me. ‘Why do you want Jiyong oppa to be with Dara? Do you think she’s ok with your decision? Don’t you think she’s having a boyfriend or a crush?’ I asked her. She sighed. ‘Sohyun.’ She held my hand. ‘Dara has been an admired of Jiyong for two years which was before I’m with him. She’s really hurt when she knows he is my boyfriend. And now, I’m taking this chance to make the two of them to like each other cause I’m sure Dara still got the feelings towards him’ Minyoung explained all of her secrets that she kept for such a long time. I feel so sad about Dara. It must be hurt for her to see her sister and her crush to be together happily in front of her. ‘I think I can help.. But don’t hope too much. Cause I’m not really sure about this’ at last I decided to help her. ‘But if I need some help with Yuri unnie, is it ok?’ I asked. She smiled and nodded. ‘Komawo Sohyun a~’
