You headed to your last class of the day, gym.

Entering the gym you saw Hoya and SungYeol, they waved at you.

You sat down next to them and boredly looked around.

Suddenly, someone plopped themselves next to you.

You blinked rapidly, *Who the hell...*

You met eyes with MinWoo who waved at you and smiled.

Mouth gaping, "Why are you here?"

"Well that's a silly question. I have gym class right now."

You frowned, "No. I mean. Next to me."

MinWoo tilted his head, "I can't?"

Face flaming, "I don't."

He grinned, "But that doesn't mean I can't, right?"

You rolled your eyes and sighed in defeat, "Do. WHATEVER. You. Want."

"I mean it, you know."

You turned to face him, *Now what?*

"I really want to be your friend. I want to get to know you-"

You abruptly cut him off, "I have no friends."

"Yes you do! Who doesn't have friends?"

A flash of pain struck across your face.

MinWoo's eyes flashed in apology, *Oops. I hit the wrong nerve.*

You whispered, "I don't."

SungYeol noticed your down expression and tugged you over to him.

Confused, *Then what are they to you?*

Hoya and SungYeol worriedly glanced at you and then MinWoo.

Attempting to lighten the mood, Hoya exclaimed, "Yah _________! You put those shoes on this morning, they're already scuffed!"

You blinked out of your daze and stared at your feet, "Oh. Sorry."

The bell rang, "I'll see the oppas outside."

Wordlessly, you walked out of the gym.

SungYeol and Hoya glanced at each other and approached MinWoo, "Yo."

MinWoo looked up, "Yes?"

"Can we ask you something?"

MinWoo nodded.

Hoya questioned, "What did you say to ________?"

An apologetic look passed MinWoo's face, "I think I struck a wrong nerve. I didn't mean to..."

SungYeol had a serious look on his face, which was rare, "Why do you keep trying to talk to her?"

MinWoo stood up and gave an honest smile, Hoya was taken aback.

"Why?"

SungYeol and Hoya nodded.

"Everyone deserves a friend."
