Jaehyo and ______ were playing hand games while on a break from their shoot.

______ yawned.

"Aish, why are you so boring? You're putting me to sleep, you TANGERINE."

"Tangerines are loaded with vitamin C! We are healthy fruits that keep you healthy."

"Can I go eat meat instead? I like meat better than you."

"Aah, you're the most annoying person in the world. I'm going insane."

Yoseob made a face as he entered the room.

The two were just TOO FRIENDLY.

He couldn’t help but feel jealous even though he knew how she felt about him.

"GOOD MORNING!~" Yoseob shouted.

"Someone is early today." ______ said happily.

"Ne, I thought I'd watch you. Is that alright?"

"It's very alright." Jaehyo nodded. He smirked.

______ rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, I haven’t seen him since yesterday. I don’t see you when I blink, that’s it. Yoseobie, how is Kikwang-ssi?"

"Kikwang is Kikwang." Yoseob said. "You wanted me to make up with him? Now, I'm taking care of him."

"I thought you liked it though."

"Yeah, I guess."

She smiled.

"As long as you have a good doctor, it'll be fine. He doesn't need to stay in long, right?"

"Ani, he was just there over night for observations so they can run test this afternoon. The guys and I stayed ALL NIGHT. They didn’t even kick us out when the visiting hours were over.”

“With how loud you guys get?”

“The doctor said that it was okay.” Yoseob shrugged.

"He would. Jaehyo-ya, Kikwang-ssi has the best doctor ever." She told her best friend.

"Cheongmal? Why?" Jaehyo asked looking up from his games.

"MHM! Someone didn’t tell me that he graduated from medical school."

Jaehyo was beyond lost.

".....that's okay, you're pretty." She said patting his head.

"OH! You mean Hyung becoming a doctor?"

______ just shook her head.

“You didn’t tell me that Oppa became a doctor.”

______ narrowed her eyes at him.

Yoseob stifled a laugh.

She turned to look at him.

“Really?”

“It was funny.”

“Please don’t become close.” ______ begged.

“Waeyo? Isn’t it important for me to get along with your boyfriend?” Jaehyo asked.

“Why?”

“I already have Uri Changhyunnie telling him EVERYTHING. I don’t need you to do it too.”

“Wait…so it’s okay for Yojin to be your best friend?” Yoseob raised a brow at her.

“Yes, because she doesn’t have a bog mouth. She won’t spill all of your secrets.”

“I think she would.”

“YAH! Why don’t you trust me?! You don’t want your ex boyfriend becoming friends with your current boyfriend?”

“When it’s you…HELL NO!”

“Am I the only person she talks to like this?” Jaehyo asked Yoseob. “Does she talk to YOU like this?”

“Ani.” Yoseob shook his head.

“That’s because she LOVES-…OOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!”

______ elbowed him in the ribs.

“______-ssi, it’s time for your solo scenes.” The photographer said.

“Uh…o-kay….” She hesitated. “Yoseobie, don’t listen to a word he says. Ahn Jaehyo is not all there….mentally.”

She was nervous to leave them alone.

The guys looked at each other.

Yoseob thought about it.

He had all guy friends.

The visual images weren’t too interesting to him.

Yoseob shook the images out of his head.

“Junhyungie is your ‘Hyung’?” Yoseob echoed.

______ came through to change an outfit.

“You’re safe, he has no interest in dating his friends.”

She smiled.

“Well, remember that Yoseobie is older than you! Don’t talk so informally.”

“Haeyeon Noona?” Yoseob mumbled. “When did you see Noona?”

“I was with her when I got the call from Changhyunnie.”

Soon enough, Jieun came in.

“Isn’t it amazing how much time and hard work is put into a commercial when it’s only going to be a couple minutes at the most?” Jaehyo asked.

“I know right?” ______ said.

Yoseob smiled.

“I don’t mind it taking a while.” He said. “We get to hang out.”

"I love that too!” Jieun said happily. “Come on, Oppa! Let's go practice!"

______ looked sad for a moment.

She sighed.

“Arasseo.” Yoseob nodded.

When they were singing, ______ stood up to listen by the door.

"Ah, he's perfect," she whispered.

She unconsciously, touched the couple ring that was hanging around her neck.

“Yah, quit swooning and get to work!” Jaehyo scolded.

“Fine!” she pouted.

In the recording studio, Yoseob and Jieun sat down to go over the song a bit more.

Jieun looked at Yoseob and smiled.

He could feel her eyes on him, and turned to look at her.

“Mwoya?”

"Yoseob Oppa?" Jieun said.

"Ne? What is it?"

"Remember when we were in that vocal club, in high school."

"Yep." He nodded. "I remember."

"You had a crush on me, didn't you?!" She teased in a flirty tone.

He shrugged.

"I don't know."

"Oppa."

"Yeah, I did. I thought you knew."

"I did." She said honestly.

"I wasn't your type?"

"Well..."

"Tell the truth..."

"I thought you weren't BUT you were so sweet and thoughtful. You did a lot of cute things for me."

"I'm a romantic guy."

"I regret it." She said.

He blinked at her.

"Mwo...?"

"I regret not looking your way. Right now, I'm starting to have feelings for you and...Before it’s too late I just..."

She leaned in to kiss him.

Yoseob turned away so she got his cheek instead.

"Jieun-ah, Mianhae. It IS too late"

Jieun frowned.

"M-Mwoya...? Cheongmalyo?"

"Mianhae." He apologized.

"You have a girl that you're interested in?"

"Yeah, I do."

"You have a girlfriend?"

 "I have a girl and I'm devoted to her."

"....oh.....the girl, isn’t me?”

"Jieunnie, you're gorgeous, you really are. I just don't see you in that way anymore. The feelings I had in school, have gone away."

The man from a few days before, came in.

“Yoseob-ssi, how do you know our ______ie?”

Yoseob just blinked.

“M-Mwo? What do you mean?”

“The last time, you seemed close.”

Jieun looked at Yoseob and the man.

“We are…close.”

“Namjachingu?”

Yoseob just blushed….a lot.

He avoided Jieun’s eyes and didn’t say a thing.

“Waeyo?”

“______ie had a strong passion for singing. I instructed her, when she was little.”

“Cheongmalyo? It that she stopped singing. I think her mother, though I hadn’t gotten to meet her, would’ve loved it. I heard about why she stopped.”

“Is ______-ssi….the girl that you like?”

Yoseob blinked.

‘Jieun-ah…”

“Is she?”

“Ne.”

“I thought she liked Jaehyo Oppa, and Kikwang Oppa?!?!? She likes YOU too?!?!”

Yoseob was getting a little angry.

“What did you say?”

“She likes all three guys?! That’s sick….”

“You know what?!?! YOU’RE the one that suggested she matches with Jaehyo-ssi. YOU are the one that said she should be with Kikwangie! What the hell is your problem? You only like me because I’m taken! Who are you to say things about her?!?!? You don’t even know her! All you know is that she’s a gorgeous girl and guys want to date her. You know what, though? She likes ME, not any of the other guys that you’re suggesting. ME! YANG YOSEOB!”

Jieun was speechless.

She never expected HIM to snap like that.

“Are you….in love with her?” she frowned.

“I think…I might be….”

“I quit…” she said.

“WHAT?! You can’t just quit!”

“I don’t want to work with you!”

Yoseob just rolled his eyes.

“Oh yeah…THAT’S professional. I rejected you, this time, so now you don’t want to work with ME? Wow…”

She put her earphones and papers down, grabbed her stuff, and slammed the door on her way out..

“….”

“Okay then…” the producer said. “Lee Jieun is out.”

Yoseob sat down and rubbed his temples.

“Aish…seriously?!?!”

“How can we find a replacement in so little time?!?!? It’s already recorded, we’d have to start from scratch!”

“Mianhae…” Yoseob bowed apologetically.

“Ani, it’s not your fault. Lee Jieun is talented and cute, but if she doesn’t want to be here…there’s nothing we can do.”
