WHAT?? A LIP? DID DONGHAE‘S LIP TOUCH MINE? OH NO! DID WE KISS… AGAIN?

I pulled my body away immediately from Donghae. I sent him a death glare. He looked at my eyes with I’m-so-sorry-gaze. My heart beat was getting faster again. Aish. How could this happen? It was embarrassing so much. But… why did I feel happy instead? Could it be love?

I snapped out of my reverie as all of people was cheering us.

“Yeah! The time is up! Aigoo. I think this couple was having a good time. You must feel so happy right now!” The MC pointed at us.

My face blushed all of a sudden. I just could cover my face with my hands. Then I took a glance to Donghae. His face seemed turned red either.

“Y-yah, why do you kiss me?” I whispered to him nervously.

“I-it was not like that! I-it just… an accident! The paper flew down and I don’t know about it! Please forgive me,” he whispered too.

“Eo. You are save right now,” I sighed.

“Okay, okay. Let’s back to our game! Look, there are 10 couples succeed! Congratulations!” The MC shouted. All of people clapped hands.

“Yeah. Now we will continue to the next step! I will read the rules. Okay, for the 2^nd stage, the boy have to stand up and down 20 times while holding the girl in 30 seconds.”

I thought I knew that kind of games. I felt worried a little. Could Donghae hold me for a long time?

“Lee Donghae, are you sure you can hold me?” I asked him a bit worried.

“Trust me. Did you see my bicep? Even I can hold you forever,” he was joking as he showed his arms. I couldn’t help but smile. He was so cheesy.

“Guys, are you ready?”the MC said.

“Yes!” All of couples said.

“Hold your partner, please.”

Donghae carried me like bridal style after hearing the instructions. He grabbed my waist and I hugged his neck. I just could only turn my eyes to another direction so I couldn’t look at his eyes directly. Being this close to Donghae made ​​me even more nervous.

“Ready, set…. go!”

He started to stand up and down while his hands held my body. He was right. His strength was no joke. After 10 seconds he could did it for 7 times. I’m sure we’ll win this game.

“Lee Donghae, fighting!” I encouraged him. He just replied with a bit smile.

20 seconds have passed. It seemed that his strength was getting decrease. The worst thing was he has just did the game for 15 times! It made me so mad. There was no more time for us. He should did it faster.

“Yah, Lee Donghae! Quickly!” I yelled.

“Ugh. Can you… shut up… please? I’m… trying hard now! Ugh.” He gasped.

25 seconds… He stood up and down for 17 times…

“Yah! It will end soon!” I kept yelling on his ear.

29 seconds… 30 seconds… The time’s up. We were just finished it for 18 times. We failed. He dropped my body and sighed.

“What a waste! Because of you we can’t go to Jeju!” I nagged at him as we left that game’s place.

“Just ask your father to buy you a ticket,” he said easily.

“No. I want to go there by my own hands. I don’t want to rely on him.”

“Yeah. But you rely on me,” he teased me.

“Tsk. It’s my fault to rely on a weak man like you.” I pouted.

He stopped walking. I followed him to stop either.

“What did you say?? I’m weak?? Yah, it’s your fault! Why are you so heavy??” he yelled.

I gaped. What?? He said that I’m heavy?? Did he know if woman very sensitive with that kind of words?

“Mwo?? I’m heavy?? I’m just 45 kg! Just tell me that your muscle is useless!” I pointed at his arms.

We glared each other.

“You said my muscle is useless?? Yah! Even a strongest muscle will be weak once he lift you for 20 times! And it will be getting weaker when he heard you’re yelling!”

Shoot. His words stabbed my heart. He was the first person to say that I was heavy. I never know that Donghae was that kind of annoying person. It was mistaken to fall for him.

“Yah, you’re so mean!” I yelled as I left him.

“Eo. You too. It’s better hang out with Bada than you,” he said behind me.

Aish. What a horrible day!

Donghae POV

She left, and I didn’t know where she was going. I bet she was really mad at me. Whatever. I didn’t want to care about her anymore.  How could she say that I was a weak? Even she said this muscle was useless. She just hurt my pride! Did she know how hard I try to hold her? Okay, I lied to say that she was heavy. To be honest, she was lighter than I thought.

Just one thing that made me couldn’t hold her any longer. She was too noisy! How could she yell right at my ear when I tried my best to hold her? I just couldn’t concentrate.

I decided to go home then.

It was 8 p.m when suddenly my phone rang. Mr.Park called.

“Yoboseyo?”

“Donghae-ah, do you know where Shinhye is? She isn’t home yet.”

“Really?? I’ll try looking for her right now!”

I rushed over to my car without thinking twice.

Shinhye POV

It was already night. I just walked around the city to drown my frustration. Lee Donghae. I was regret to ask you hang out! I kicked a can in front of me.

PLUK. It hit someone’s head.

“Ouch!” someone groaned from far away.

Omo. Seemed that my can hit someone! I must ran away before he caught me! So I started to run. But… when I was turn around, I bumped into someone. I looked up. A bearded man stood in front of me. I could smell the alcohol from his body. He smirked crazily. I wanted to run again but he held my wrist.

“Yah! Let go of me!” I shouted. He tightened his grip instead.

“Help me!” That drunken man grabbed my arms. I tried so hard to let it go but I fail.

I was afraid right now. I just hope Lee Donghae or my father was here. Please. I need your help.

“Help me! Lee Donghae! Appa!” I cried.

The drunken man tried to hug me. But suddenly…

CRACK.

Someone hit the drunken man’s head with a stick. The drunken man fainted. Then someone appeared.

“L-Lee Dong… hae?” I whispered.

He brought me to his embrace.

“Don’t be afraid. I’m here…” he said softly as he my hair. I buried my face on his shoulder. My mind was blank. I was just crying.

“Sshhh. Let’s go before that jerk get up.”

He broke our hug and pulled my hand. We got into the bus once we found it. We were sitting side by side.

“T-thanks,” I said as I sobbed.

“Yah. Don’t cry again, please.”

I wiped my tears.

“By the way, why are you there? Do you follow me?” I asked.

Donghae POV

Park Shinhye. Why do you always make me worried?

I traced every single way in Seoul just to search her. I went to amusement park again before but she wasn’t there.

Suddenly, my car broke down.

“Yah, what is it again?!” I yelled frustrated.

I went out to check the engine. Steam burst out to my face when I opened the shade. Aigoo. The engine has broken. Why this thing must be happen? I called the insurance. But they said they could handle this problem by tomorrow. I couldn’t bare it. I decided to look for Shinhye by walking.

I didn’t know how long I’ve spent just to look for her. When I was just walking…

PLUK.

“Ouch!” Something hit my head. I looked down.

Huh? A can? Hey, who was the one hit me with this can?? I must find him!

I ran to the direction where this can came from.

“Help me!” 

I stopped running. Someone was screaming. Who was it? I felt I know that voice.

“Help me! Lee Donghae! Appa!”

Park Shinhye? I rushed to the source of her voice.

There. I saw her. Struggling from a drunken man. I couldn’t think clearly anymore but just to save her. So I took a stick around me and then hit that jerk’s head. He fell down.

I saw her crying. She looked so pale. I hugged her immediately to comfort her. Really. Guilt filled my whole heart. It was my first time to see her frightened like that. It was all my fault. If I didn’t let her go, I’m sure she will be fine. Sorry, Park Shinhye…

After comforted her, I held her hand to take her away from that place. Fortunately, the bus stopped right in front of us not long after. We got in the bus and was sitting side by side.

 “T-thanks,” she said as she sobbed.

“Yah. Don’t cry again, please.” I just couldn’t bear to see her swollen face.

She wiped her tears.

“By the way, why are you there? Do you follow me?” she asked.

Omo. I didn’t want her to know about the truth.

“M-me? H-how should I follow you? I just wanted to go home. Suddenly, someone hit my head with a can. I’ve tried looking for that someone but then I heard you shout my name.

“So… is it you? I’m the one who kicked that can.” She was surprised.

“Really? Yah. It hurts, you know?” I pretended to be mad.

“I’m sorry,” she said sincerely.

“Hm.”

Then, we were just sitting in quietness. After some minutes, I felt my shoulder was heavier. She was there. Sleeping with her head on my right shoulder. I couldn’t help but smile. It was been a long time since she slept beside me. Really. I couldn’t hate her. Just thinking about her made me want to smile. Well, it was very touching when she shout my name as she struggling from that jerk. It means that she remember me, right?

I her hair secretly. Maybe it bother her sleep so she opened her eyes all of a sudden. She lifted her head and looked at my eyes.

I looked at her eyes as I smiled. “Just sleep.”

She smiled either and put her head on my shoulder again.

Shinhye POV

Finally, I and Donghae arrived in front of my house. Initially, I didn’t want him to take me to the front of the house, but he insisted to do that. He said that he was afraid if I walked alone at night. How sweet he was.

“Lee Donghae, we have arrived here. You can go home right now.” I smiled to him.

“Eo. Good night,” he said as he smiled.

He was about to go but then I called him. “Lee Donghae.”

“Ne?” He turned around.

“Thanks for everything today. You saved me and…” I stopped talking.

How should I say this words?

“Um… I would like to hang out with you again later!” I said that as I entered my house.

I just left the blank Donghae.

At room

It was already 10 pm. I used to sleep at this time but why now I couldn’t? Was it because of… love?

Yeah. L-O-V-E. After thinking so long about it, now I can say that I love Donghae. I didn’t know but I was just feeling that my heart beat never getting slower than before. And it made me couldn’t sleep.

Lee Donghae. Should I text him right now? Or should I call him? Aish. we just met a few minutes ago but now I've missed him so much. Was it a syndrome of falling in love? Even I never felt this way when I was going out with my ex-boyfriend.

I took my phone and started to type a message.

To : Lee Donghae

I love you

Sent.

How I wish I could send this message to him but I can’t. It wasn’t the right time. I wasn’t ready yet to tell him about my feeling. He supposed to be full of himself if knows that, right?

But wait. It seemed like I see the signs that a message has been sent. I checked the outbox immediately.

OH MY GOD. It was really sent.

 “KYAAA!!”
