No ones POV

     “Bomi! Yah Yoon Bomi!” Eunji, who sat behind her, was whispering and shaking Bomi trying to wake her up. Bomi groaned and turned her head the other way. “Yah! Bomi!” Some of the classmates were laughing. Sungyeol, who sat next to her, was trying not to laugh.

     “That’s enough Eunji.” Mrs. Kim, their homeroom teacher was walking towards her. She looked at Bomi and then looked at Myungsoo sitting behind Sungyeol, who was also sleeping. “It seems as if Bomi and Myungsoo are both very tired.” The teacher sighed as she looked at them again. “Eunji, Sungyeol stand back.” They both stood up and moved away. The class started to laugh. They knew what was going to happen because it happened so often. Mrs. Kim took a stick that was sitting against the wall and stood in front of their desks. She lifted the stick high in the air and the room went silent. Then she hit Myungsoo’s desk then Bomi’s.

     “What? Where?!” Bomi yelled as she shot awake. The class burst into laughter. Myungsoo lifted his head slowly and looked at her and shook his head like she was an idiot, then looked away. Bomi looked around at everyone, and then her face began to get red. She smiled and slowly sat back down embarrassed.

     “It’s just amazing.” Mrs. Kim looked at both of them. “It’s always you two that cause trouble in my class. I guess this is a rare occasion! This time you both caused trouble at the same time.” Bomi smiled a little and put her head back down embarrassed. Mrs. Kim gave a fake smile. “Okay everyone! Give me your test.” The classroom started to pass the test to the front.

     “Bomi you must be a genius. Honestly how can you finish the test that fast and have enough time to sleep?” Chorong asked. Today was evaluation testing in their homeroom to see how well each year is doing academically. Homeroom is were students take exams, study and mostly just hangout during down time. Bomi's class are Juniors.

     “I’m not a genius, I just understand.” Bomi said. Sungyeol was listening in and smiled.

     “You’re kidding right?” said Eunji in disbelief.

     “I agree.” Sungyeol said. Chorong and Eunji both looked at him smiled like they were in love with him. He looked at Bomi. “You’re pretty smart. Even I wasn’t confident with the test.” He smiled at her.

     “Well I don’t really think I can call myself a genius. I think that a genius is someone who is good at everything, and I’m not.” Eunji and Chorong both laughed.

     “Like what? Staying awake during class?” Eunji said while laughing. Chorong laughed, so did Sungyeol.

     “Yah!” Bomi yelled while laughing. They continued to joke around and talk to each other.

Bomi POV

     The next day everyone was either studying or talking to their friends while the teacher walked in.

     “Okay guys! The results are in! Yesterday’s high scorer is… Yoon Bomi.” The girls cheer. Only a few boys including Sungyeol either clapped or smiled. The other boys sighed. “Now normally the girls wouldn’t be doing cleaning duty today and the boys would, but I came up with something else.” Everyone was confused. “I think that Yoon Bomi and Kim Myungsoo should be the ones who have to stay after today and clean.”

      “What?!” I yell. Myungsoo didn’t react. The classroom laughs and cheers.

      “Actually, how about we make that a month?” The class cheers even louder.

     What?! A MONTH!?

     “Mrs. Kim!” I yell.

     “What? Is it too unfair for you? Then don’t fall asleep next time.” She smiles and leaves the classroom. The students laugh at me as they leave the room. Eunji and Chorong got up and tried to sneak out.

     “Yah! Where are you going?” I yell after them. They slowly turn around and smile.

     “Sorry Bomi, I have things to do.” Chorong says and runs out. I look at Eunji.

     “Eunji-ah!” I say with a puppy face. She smiles then looks at somewhere else. I follow her eyes and they were planted on Myungsoo. I look back at her.

    “Sorry!” Eunji says and then runs out.

    “WIMP!” I yell at her. Aish! Why do I have such bad luck?

    “Sungjong!” I call out his name while he’s leaving.

    “No.” he says and walks straight out of the door without even looking at me.

     “Yah!” I yell after him. Where is the brotherly love?

     Myungsoo gets up and puts his bag over his shoulder and starts to leave. I jump out of my seat and block him. “Where are you going?” I ask.

     What the hell? Is he seriously trying to leave?

     He stares at me for about ten seconds then tries to walk around me. So I block him again.

     “Where are you going?” He gives me a death stare. I just stare at him. Does he think that will work on me? He sighs and pushes me out of the way and leaves the room. I scoff then run after him and grab his arm. “There’s no way I’m staying here by myself.” He looks at me and sighs again. He walks back into the classroom and sits down at his seat and puts his feet on top of the desk.

     “Happy?” He asks while giving me a dirty look. I look at him in disbelief.

     “Why are you always like this?” He looks away with a completely uninterested expression. He is so not cute! I decide to brush it off.

     “Look, it’ll be dark by the time we’re done and it's scary here at night and I don’t want to be here by myself.” Myungsoo looks at me for a few seconds then sighs.

     “Honestly… I’m probably the scariest thing you’re going to see at this school at any time.” He says as he gets up once again.

     “You’re not scary to me at all!” I say desperately to make him stay. He ignores me and walks past. “Myungsoo wait!” he stops at the door. He is such a jerk! But there’s no choice. I bite my lip and sigh.  “You don’t have to clean, I’ll do it. Just sit somewhere and wait until I’m done.” Why does he have to make things difficult?! But apparently it works because he goes back to his seat.

     “Seriously, how old are you to still be afraid of the dark?”

     “I’m not afraid of the dark!” He looks at me like I was a liar. “I’m not! It’s just that…” I pause a little. He’s going to think I’m crazy. “Every time I’m here alone something weird happens…” I pause a little before I say what’s next. “I think, this school is haunted.” He slightly drops him mouth and rolls his eyes, then leans back in his chair and continues to be uninterested. “Fine! Don’t believe me, but no matter what you’re not leaving until I do. I’ll go get the cleaning stuff, don’t you dare leave!” I say. He’s such a jerk!

     As I was walking out the door I watch him to make sure he doesn’t move. He rolls his eyes at me again.

     When I got back he was sitting there chewing gum. He blows a bubble as I walk by. Lazy ! I start erasing the chalk board then grab a rag to wash it. “Oh? I forgot to put water in the bucket.”

     He scoffs, “Are you sure you’re a genius?” he asks while looking at me like I was an idiot.

     I shoot him a dirty look. “I’ll be right back.” I walk out of the door. I peek back in and look at him. “You better not leave!” I warn him. He blew a bubble with his gum and ignores me. Aish!

     I walk back in and see that he wasn’t there anymore.

     “Oh? Where did he go?” I sigh in disbelief. “Kim Myungsoo!” I say to myself as I clench my fist. How could he just leave?

      I run out of the room, down the stairs and out to the front of the school and look in all directions. “Yah! Kim Myungsoo!” I yell. I start to stomp out of frustration.

      That JERK!!!

No ones POV

    Myungsoo was standing on the roof of the school watching her. He laughs to himself.

    He watches until she goes back in and then lays down and stares up at the sky.
