The Letter
Its All a GameIt has been nearly 2 years since Luhan and Sehun spoke after that night. The two continued their ways, never speaking to one another. Both out of high school, Luhan did not know what happened to Sehun. From rumors of being picked up by YG entertainment to someone trying to convince him that Sehun was in jail, nothing ever seemed to add up. With his busy schedule, seldom does Luhan ever get the chance to think of the mess that was his love. However today was different. Today he didn't have a schedule. Today he was in the dorm alone. Today he decided to look into his high school year book. Flipping through the pages, he cringed at the pictures of the ugly duckling, gagging at how he used to dress. Looking at the events, the classes, the teachers, Luhan found that while he did not miss those days, it was still nostalgic. Flipping to the last page, Luhan did not expect to see a letter with his name written on the front in a messy scribble. Carefully, the idol opened the envelope, scanning over the messy scrawl before placing the letter and book back like nothing had happened.
Dear Luhan,
I don't expect you to believe this, but the day that you broke it off, destroyed me. I didn’t know what to do. I believe I spent half the night crying and the other half contemplating. Why did I go through with it? Was I really that stupid? I remember crying the whole night, but why was I? You were the one being hurt by me. It was my fault.
I talked to Chen before you left too you know. He yelled at me. He said I didn’t deserve you and I knew that was the truth. I was weak. A screw up. A mess up. A up. But I’m still going to love you for so long. Longer than you can ever think even though I don't deserve too. I told him to keep you safe. I told him to protect you, maybe love you. Maybe you can love him too. Maybe one day I can face you again and tell you thank you. I told him to be there for you. Be there for you forever. I told him, to be the person that I can only wish to be.
-Oh Sehun
